If this carries on and escalates further, I'd say we are entering WW3 territory. Who says only Europe gets to have World Wars?

I’ve never seen a third party cheerlead a war this passionately while fully aware that it won’t just destabilize the region, it’ll eventually boomerang back and hurt their own country too.

The only objective seems to be to drag the west in to fight israel's zionist battles for them. Maybe Bibi felt with the Epstein files hanging over Trump's administration, it was now or never.

This assumes MBS is not a reckless adventurist and impulsive nepo baby who greenlit Saudi's Vietnam in Yemen (he thought it'd be a quick, easy victory) and initiated a blockade of Qatar.

He and the Saudi state also have close financial ties with the Trump Paedophile and Crime Family. He's been quoted as saying "Palestinians should learn to be good Israelis" and wanted to normalise with Israel before Oct 7 put a stop to that.

Therefore it's perfectly reasonable to assume the worst in Saudi's motives and actions. About time he got a slap along with these other crooked Gulf regimes.

First excuse was nukes , then regime change, now to destroy the navy and ballistic missile capabilities.

So I've watched a lot of analysis on this whole situation and got various views. My eyes have been opened.

  • In a speech to the Israeli government in Hebrew, Netanyahu ended by saying "If things go south - we will give them the biggest surprise of all". Now different interpretations can be made but for me it's absolutely clear that's him saying they are prepared to use nuclear bombs. Note - he never uses this type of wording when speaking in English.
  • Israel and their puppets in Washington are petrified right now. There is no off ramp, they've set in motion a sequence of events spiralling out of control.
  • Outside of western MSM the global population is completely against the Israelis and America - they have lost support.
  • They failed their initial plan to topple the regime and leaks are coming out thick and fast about their pleads for support.
  • Russia is 100% behind Iran - China less so, China is still helping but they're a bit pi55ed off with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. I would say China is 75% behind them.
  • Russia's foreign minister said the other day with cryptic language - they know where this is going, this is now existential for Israel.
  • All Iran has to do is wait this out and they win.
  • The Israeli and American intelligence has failed them so far - they were expecting a collapse as soon as the Ayatollah was killed, but instead they mobilised even the critics and haters.

Neither's a real goal obviously.

Israel has plenty of space to expand in it's neighbourhood without bothering with faraway Iran. Not that it really needs any. While it's TFR is above replacement, it's nowhere near running out of space.

Oil is more plausible but even there there's massive reserves in Venezuela to digest before they get to Iran.

My theory is a combination of Israeli paranoia + Netanyahu's desire to show himself as the only only choice for Israelis who want to protect their country + Trump's desire to be seen as 'the man' who actually won a war + how susceptible he is to manipulation in certain ways.

Trump barely thinks anything through. However last June and Venezuela gave him a taste for militarism abroad despite promising "no new wars" which his inbred, simpleton followers believed. And any distraction from the Epstein files is welcome for him.

Netanyahu's 30 year wet dream has centred around regime change in Iran so Israel can be a hegemon in the region.

He faces corruption charges at home but is immune from prosecution while in office - hence the starting and needless prolonging of wars. It's also election year in Israel and what better way of winning votes than killing Muslims.

There is a massive technology mismatch here. Economic too. There is literally nothing Iran could have done beyond the stupidity of meeting as a group. That's the part I never understood. Maybe they were worried of signal interception. As the US joint chief said the attack started with full on EW and jamming..the entire radar and comm network of Iran was shut down. Add in stealth jets and missiles fired miles away...there is nothing they could have done. Honestly. I doubt if India or even China can counter it. A targeted attack is very hard to stop. Both India and China are huge..so they can't jam the entire country but to attack something. They can jam that corridor.

All that got rolled back in the last 12 months or so, the Saudis have been trying to settle issues with Iran vice versa because they are both big players in the BRICS institution. Why would they blow all that up for the sake of israel?
