Pakistan reaffirms solidarity with Gulf states in call with Erdogan

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan this evening.

Expressing his deep concern over the escalating crisis in the Middle East, the Prime Minister condemned the Israeli attack on Iran, and subsequent regrettable attacks on other brotherly Gulf countries.

The Prime Minister apprised the Turkish President of his recent outreach to the leadership of the brotherly Gulf countries, reaffirming Pakistan’s full solidarity with them.

He said Pakistan has conveyed its readiness to play a constructive role in efforts aimed at resolving the crisis.

Both leaders underscored the importance of maximum restraint by all parties, to prevent further escalation.

The Prime Minister also took President Erdogan into confidence on the recent developments in the context of Afghanistan.

The two leaders agreed to remain in close and frequent contact in this regard while continuing their efforts to bring peace and stability in the region.

@Rana bro if I haven't told you yet, I really appreciate your efforts to share these news stories that arent readily available on mainstream sites. This thread has become my go to for updates on the war, all thanks to you. You're doing a fantastic job 👏 👏. Tunn ke rakh

It seems ranaji sitting outside the news rooms and snatching news from reporters before the news gets flashed on TVs

War is not forced by me or india. .lol

And I already know how these people's react during the operation Sindoor. ..

:klopp :kp

It’s not about who started war, it’s the fact that you are actually enjoying the war where thousands of innocents are dying is a concern.

I find the lack of moral compass and empathy astounding on these forums.

People literally enjoy in suffering, murder of innocents.

Another morning check of the news and another conformation that Iran was all bark and little bite.

The Ayatollah is turning in his grave that this is all his death would muster.

What do you mean by "all bark and little bite"? They have done damages to Israel and USA bases thus far.

They are fighting two countries (Israel and USA). If it is just Israel and Iran, who do you think will win? :inti

So the question is why none of you are allying with Iran?

All the ifs and maybes are your usual cope.

I guess Indian bhakts do not understand warfare. That's why they lost OP Tandoor in 4 days. :inti

Iran is playing a long game. It is called "war of attrition". It is about grinding Israel/USA down and making it costly. They haven't even used their top missiles yet.

USA now have over 38-trillion in debt. Long wars are damaging for them. Most Americans are not interested in wars anymore.

The USA sliced off the head of your Ayatollah before he could spell IRAN and you're here saying "USA have debt".

No one allies with anyone directly in wars other than one specific one which has pedophile leaders recorded and blackmailed by another genocidal illegal state.

Iran has destroyed and have caused severe damage to numerous American bases around the gulf. It's all Zio media which wouldn't report their humiliation, they even made up friendly fire nonsense when their 3 jets got destroye by Iran so you are dealing with completely one sided global propaganda. It took Iran 7 days to go all out on Israel on 12 day war as well which caused significant destruction in Israel

No one allies with anyone in wars? Was USA-GB-FR in the "Allies" team a figment of our imagination then? Was USA-GB in the Iraq War fictional as well?

In this day and age, photo and video evidence will leak out. It's inevitable.

Face it. The sanctions have crippled Iran's ability to wage war. They can't assassinate anybody on the other side. Cause a nuisance though with a single digit number of deaths daily (RIP)? Sure.

Lol.

If you believe the mainstream media then it's you that are as ignorant as all the other posters here.

Alternative media such Breaking Point, Judge Napolitano and redacted through their sources have shown massive damage to Israel, huge damage.

Of course Israel is trying their best and succeeding in not letting this leak. But we still see material.

Indian bhakts are very gullible. They are not capable of thinking independently/critically. :inti

They probably think real life war is like Bollywood. :yk

You seem to be buying the western propaganda.

Iran is suffering huge damage but they are inflicting massive damage too. The problem is MSM only shows one side.

I feel like engaging with some of these Indians can lower someone's IQ in the long run.

How can people be this gullible? :inti

In today's age of social media, there is no excuse for falling for propaganda, unless someone is incredibly stupid.

Are you aware he was killed a home? He didn't run off hiding in bunkers. He almost wanted to be killed and his plan to make himself a martyr and unite the rival groups so far has worked.

It is embarrassing when Indians try to "debate" without knowing basic facts. It makes them look stupid.

Israel attacked Khamenei like a coward when he was at his residence. Khamenei wasn't hiding in a bunker or anything.

Israel attacked like a coward while USA and Iran were negotiating. Who attacks during a negotiation? :inti

Yes and the humiliation for Israel and the US is that they thought they could implant their Zionist puppet Raza overnight. The Iranians and Shias around the world are absolutely furious and want total revenge.

As it becomes clear that the US cant win this war without significant changes such as boots on the ground in huge numbers and allies (vassals) joining in, more and more politicians in America are turning on this project.

Some of the Senators who attended this closed door briefing in the US came out confused about the plan. Apparently it will be a long war and the plan is to start a civil war via the Kurds. Trump and his cabinet haven't got a clue about how to win and their attempts to get a ceasefire via neutral countries has been slammed shut.

But our Indian friends are so gullible they see bombs landing in Tehran and think that's what victory is.

Wars are won via logistics not lying on mainstream media.

Correct.

Trump the amateur rookie probably thought Iran would collapse in one day. He is as stupid as the Indian bhakts.

Iran have a lot of missiles. Not just small missiles but also serious missiles.

Israel was smashed last May (that's why they agreed to a ceasefire) and they are again getting smashed this time. Even USA bases got smashed. USA lost 6 soldiers so far; will probably lose more if war drags on.

Kurds insurgency has been miserably defeated in all other neighboring countries of Iran. They barely make up #, Trump and his regime of idiots have no plan and they really thought they will be done with this over the weekend and Iranian would have toppled entire government by next weekend so he can send his stooge Pahlavi to lead.
Back fired big time when they saw millions supporting Iran and it's government on the street, hence Trump made a quick uturn and made a clown out of Clown price of Persian Pahlavi quick by saying he can't be the leader lol

That Pahlavi 🤡 kissed the wall for nothing 🤣

You guys should watch the social media video of Senator Elizabeth Warren. "This is so much worse than we thought. Trump has no reason for the war and he has no way out."

Our Indian posters here prefer to trust mainstream media rather than looking at the truth.

Question for Indian posters... isn't India an ally of Iran? Why the hatred? It's not in India's interest to alienate Iran especially since they share a huge border with Pakistan

Can't speak for all Indian posters but i don't see too much hatred for Iran. A lack of empathy yes but not hatred.

Most of what you interpret as hatred seems to me to be what has become standard on this forum - troll posts skirting or sometimes crossing the line in order to wind up the other side. Since this isn't a conflict that particularly affects Pakistanis much, I suppose it's seen as especially fair game to use as troll material. I would hope Indian posters would exercise more discretion if the tragedy were in Pakistan.

I recognise Indians have done plenty of that on this thread but I've seen plenty of threads in which Pakistanis have used even tragic deaths to try to wind up Indians.

Sign of the times when each side is able to manufacture outrage but not look in the mirror at their own behaviour.

There’s no hatred here don’t judge an entire sentiment by a handful of stray comments.
Across the country many Muslims have been protesting and even several Hindus have begun to reassess their stance after disturbing images of civilian casualties and reports involving figures linked to Ali Khamenei’s family began circulating.

If you look at the reactions of right leaning military commentators such as Gen G. D. Bakshi, you’ll notice that a broader section of Indians is starting to question whether aligning too closely with Zionist interests or American strategic agendas truly serves India’s long-term interests.

Till a few years ago I was not interested in discussing religion, but after seeing the 24-hour Muslim propaganda against Hindus here , my mind completely changed and I started behaving rudely towards Muslims.

Give respect and take respect. ...:kp

I guess you can call me a hater. I want Iran to serve Benjamin's head on a platter but they are acting so impotent that they have turned me off.

Your Ayatollah got taken out. The MINIMUM that needs to happen is that Netanyahu needs a stab through his heart. Meanwhile we are getting a half hearted display of Diwali phatakas on the day of Holi. Go figure.

The IDF confirms a major wave of strikes across Tehran, hitting dozens of command centers belonging to Iran’s terror regime, including Basij and internal security headquarters used to control the population.

Israeli Air Force jets, guided by IDF intelligence, dropped dozens of munitions on regime command hubs responsible for internal repression and operational coordination across Iran.

Additional strikes hit the Ground Forces’ Supply and Logistics Directorate, along with missile launchers and other military systems.

Israel says the campaign will continue to systematically degrade the Iranian terror regime’s command infrastructure.

Bhakts regularly shoot themselves on the foot out of hatred for Islam.

They don't have the intelligence to realize it is counterproductive. :inti

Defense Minister Israel Katz says any leader appointed by the Iranian regime to replace Ali Khamenei will be an "unequivocal target for elimination."

"Any leader appointed by the Iranian terror regime to continue leading the plan to destroy Israel, threaten the US and the free world and the countries of the region, and oppress the Iranian people, will be an unequivocal target for elimination," Katz says in a statement.

"It does not matter what his name is or where he hides," he says.

"We will continue to act with full force, together with our American partners, to dismantle the regime’s capabilities and create the conditions for the Iranian people to overthrow and replace it," Katz adds

This is israel for you. 💥🔥 :kp

They are going after bunch of scientist and professors too. All these times, I thought they were only after terrorist. Turns out anyone who doesn't confirm to their interests is a fair game.

Defense executives plan to meet at White House as strikes on Iran diminish stockpiles

WASHINGTON, March 3 (Reuters) - The Trump administration plans to meet with executives from the biggest U.S. defense contractors at the White House on Friday to discuss ‌accelerating weapons production, as the Pentagon works to replenish supplies after strikes on Iran and several other recent military efforts, five people familiar with the plan told Reuters.

Companies including Lockheed Martin (LMT.N), opens new tab and Raytheon parent RTX (RTX.N), opens new tab, along with other key suppliers, have been invited to attend the meeting, the people said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the discussions are private.

The meeting underscores the urgency felt in Washington to shore up weapons stocks after the Iran operation drew heavily on munitions. Since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022 and Israel began military operations in Gaza, the U.S. has drawn down billions of dollars' worth of weapons stockpiles, including artillery systems, ammunition and anti-tank missiles. The conflict in Iran has consumed longer-range missiles than those furnished to Kyiv.

At least one of the people said the gathering was expected to center on pressing weapons makers to move faster to boost output.

Lockheed, the Pentagon and White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment. RTX declined to comment. In a social media post Monday, Trump said there was a "virtually unlimited supply" of U.S. munitions and that "wars can be fought "forever," and very successfully, using just these supplies."

The White House meeting comes as Deputy ‌Defense Secretary Steve Feinberg has been leading Pentagon work in recent days on a supplemental budget request of around $50 billion that could be released as soon as Friday, one of the people said. The new money would pay for replacing the weapons used in recent conflicts including those in the Middle East. The figure is preliminary and could change.

The push to boost production has intensified following U.S. military strikes on Iran, where the U.S. deployed Tomahawk cruise missiles, F-35 stealth fighters and low-cost one-way attack drones on Saturday.

Tomahawk missile maker Raytheon has a new agreement with the Pentagon to eventually ramp production to 1,000 units annually. The Pentagon currently plans to buy 57 of the missiles in 2026 at an average cost of $1.3 million each.

The administration has been steadily ratcheting up pressure on defense contractors to prioritize production over shareholder payouts. President Donald Trump signed an executive order in January to identify contractors deemed to be underperforming on contracts while distributing profits to shareholders.

The Pentagon is expected to release a list of underperforming contractors. Companies named will have 15 days to submit board-approved plans to correct the situation. If those plans are judged insufficient, the Pentagon can pursue enforcement actions, including contract terminations.

Several outlets reporting from a 'Pentagon Source' that stocks of weapon - especially interceptor missiles are running low and could be exhausted in 3-4 weeks. There's a lot of juggling of the inventory going on currently but they'll have to ramp up production urgently.

Overnight attacks in Israel and Iran highlight the difference between the 2 sides.

In Iran, US military struck with heavy bombers, while IDF continued to pound high-value targets with precision.

In Israel, missile alerts throughout the night but limited missile and rocket fire, without any strategic impact
