The United States has not yet escorted any oil tankers or vessels through the Strait of Hormuz, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has told reporters, according to Reuters.

Leavitt was responding to a question about why US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright deleted a post on X earlier in the day in which he said the US Navy had successfully escorted an oil tanker through the strait “to ensure oil remains flowing to global markets.”

US looking to get out of this soon. Apparently Chris wright deleted his tweet and just with his tweet oil prices came down… 😁

He has no clue what he is talking about. This time the damage was way more. Majority of foreign bases in the middle east was under attack.

Also, following from @emranabbas shows way significant damage compared to what I seen last year war.

I have followed it closely. The damage to Israel is much less than 12 day war. Iran caused real chaos in Israel then. Now they are fighting on multiple fronts and can't exert same damage on one country.

Bahrain authorities arrest 6 Asians, including 5 Pakistanis, for allegedly filming, sharing videos of Iran’s attacks

Bahrain’s interior ministry has said that the country’s Anti-Cyber Crime Directorate arrested six Asians, including five Pakistanis, after they “filmed, published and reposted videos related to the effects of the treacherous Iranian aggression”.

This was shared in a statement on the police media centre’s website on Monday.

The statement also alleged that the suspects expressed “sympathy with and glorified those hostile acts in a manner that harms security and public order”.

It added that the videos in question were circulated through the suspects’ social media accounts, “contributing to misleading public opinion and spreading fear among citizens and residents”.

“Legal procedures have been taken, and the suspects have been referred to the public prosecution,” the statement added.

According to the information available on the website, apart from five Pakistanis, a Bangladeshi has also been arrested for the alleged offence.

It said the interior ministry “also urged everyone to obtain information from official sources and refrain from circulating or reposting unverified videos or news to avoid legal accountability and to help safeguard the nation’s security and safety”.

Bahrain currently finds itself embroiled in an ongoing war in the Middle East, which began with US-Israeli strikes on Iran. In retaliation, Iran has been targeting US bases and assets in Gulf countries, including Bahrain.

Earlier, Bahrain’s interior ministry warned in a post on X that “anyone who betrays his country and cooperates in the aggression against Bahrain by photographing vital sites and facilities and publishing them on social media to be used in Iranian aggression is an accomplice in this aggression and will be punished according to the law”.

Talk about fascism (which apparently Iran is solely guilty of in the region as if their Gulf neighbours are democratic havens).

They are mostly focussed on creating a corridor for their higher yielding missiles to hit Isreal at will. Hence the attacks on radar and interceptors in UAE, Saudi, Iraq and Jordan. They are planning long term this time.

Thats one theory.

The other theory is that they are doing just enough to stay afloat and become a nuisance in the region until the world urges the Americans to call it quits.

From a military perspective they have done well under a tremendous barrage from the US and Israelis. Probably no other country could have withstood the killing of their leader, economic pressures, incited riots and bombings in the space of 2-3 months. But they have continued and got the odd punch back too.

I just think the chat about major damage within Israel is a bit exaggerated.

Where is Netanyahu hiding?
Trump is popping up on the TV screens every hour whereas Netanyahu has not been seen for 3 days now, I am sure no one is missing him, but would like to know if something is being hidden.

I heard he was not in Israel. Hiding in Germany. Not sure if true.

We will not know until the fighting stops. We already know that Iran's airforce is a no goer with 50 year old planes and pretty much same for the navy.

The fact that they are able to hang on to fight and pretty much keep everyone on their toes is indication of that they have war gamed this to an extent.

We haven't really seen the fpv drone war yet, pretty sure that is why the US is very concerned about getting too close or have boots on the ground. It will become a blood bath.

Are you Indian? I see that you have the Pakistani flag in your dp but most of your posts are downplaying Iran's retaliation

It seems to me you are following legacy media and legacy media alone. There is more to a war than just bug fancy visuals of building being blow up.

You don't even acknowledge that Iran won the 12 day war, multiple independent sources have confirmed it was Isael who asked the US to call for a ceasefire and both sides agreed and they had those symbolic missile barrages to pander their own audiences. You can hit our base and we will hit your Fordow NP.

You are like all the amateurs around the internet who doesn't understand military history and the enemy. There is just no way short of something catastrophic, the US can win this. They are talking the big game but they're not backing it up. For example, if things are going so smoothly for the US why are they attempting to get Europe involved? Why are the Kurds being talked about? Why are they Pulling in the 82nd airborne division? Why is a third carrier group being summoned? These are not signed they are winning.

Then let's talking about the next steps. In over a century, apart from Nuclear Weapons, no country has ever won a war from the air - it doesn't happen. As the professsor says in this video - the weight of history is against US:

So clearly the US needs ground troops and huge, massive enormous numbers. The sheer logistics involved are off the charts. They'll close to a million troops given how big Iran is. Then the question how do they get in? They can't come in via Iraq or Azerbaijan because of the very long and unprotected supply lines. They can't come in from the north obviously. They definitely can't come in via the sea as they'd be sitting ducks. Balochistan could be an option but that risks escalation on another level and I don't as corrupt as Pakistan's establishment are they would allow it.

Even if there was a way to get into Iran - it would take 6-8 months to get everything in position for the invasion. It ain't happening - the US public don't want it.

I could go on and on but that's enough for now.
No one is denying Iran hit some missiles...what startegic damage did Iran do to Israel so far ..killing civilians downing a jet or killing 10 soldiers don't count. This is only regarding the 12 days war last year and prior to that

This is what Israel achieved
Killer solemani and other top generals and leaders
Decimated hezbollah and Hamas
Killed their top leaders
Killed top scientists
Destroyed multiple nuclear sites.

Please educate us what did Iran hit that has degraded Israel's ability to wage war.

Now on to this conflict.

Iran navy and air force is gone
Top leadership wiped out.

Regime change not achieved.
Unclear strait of Hormuz blockade status.
Irans strategic win is the risk of economic recession forcing us and Israel to stop the war

If war stops today...you can say Iran won because regime still survives. But at what cost ..it's air forces and navy is gone. Industries are destroyed. Economic blockade exists. So for Iran to have startegic victory would be to get guarantee of no more attacks ..get economic sanctions lifted and give up the idea of nukes . This will be a victory for Israel too except regime change. Without treaty...if they can destroy irans nuclear ambitions...that would be a victory too but that will destroy the great Persian nation.

iran didn’t wage war on israel and US. From the outset they were no military match to israel let alone US/israel combo.

US and israel have to change regime if not it’s a loss. Iran needs to just prolong the war and make sure regime survives to claim victory.

If US takes off ramp now; Replacing khamnaei sr with khamanaei jr will be considered one of the most facepalm moments in US history.

Post war they need to link straits of hurmoz opening with some sort of economic concessions

What a slave nation taking orders from USA, what to buy where to buy....these Sanghis talk so much gibberish and this is their worth 😂
These guys love calling Pakistan Army Dollar Army and US bootlickers and what not.

This is an embarrassment for them! Pakistan has debts to pay towards US but what about India? Why are they so subservient to United States?

Democrats say White House offers no clarity on Iran war goals after 11 days

Several Democrats in the United States have emerged from a classified briefing about the war on Iran, saying they still have little clarity about President Donald Trump’s justifications and end goals, even 11 days into the conflict.

“I emerge from this briefing as dissatisfied and angry, frankly, as I have from any past briefing in my 15 years,” said Senator Richard Blumenthal, following Tuesday’s briefing to the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Their statements marked the latest wave of condemnation from congressional Democrats, who have a slim minority in the Senate and the US House of Representatives.

Party members in both chambers had recently voted in near unison on resolutions seeking to halt the war, which the US and Israel launched on February 28.

But their efforts to pass a “war powers resolution” to rein in Trump failed amid widespread Republican opposition.

More recently, Democrats have pledged to delay proceedings in the Senate unless top officials from the Department of State and the Pentagon testify under oath about the war.

Following Tuesday’s briefing, Democrats like Blumenthal argued that the Trump administration owes the US public more clarity about the war.

Blumenthal added that the meeting piqued concerns that US forces may be deployed to either Iraq or Iran.

“I am left with more questions than answers, especially about the cost of the war,” he said.

“I am most concerned about the threat to American lives of potentially deploying our sons and daughters on the ground in Iraq. We seem to be on a path towards deploying American troops on the ground in Iran to accomplish any of the potential objectives.”

I think Iran have softened them up pretty badly, now it’s time to go right in.

Isreal will want the US to nuke Tehran to end this?

Got a feeling Iran will nuke Tel Aviv right back and surprise the world. Russia would have given Iran nukes already, considering both have been heavily sanctioned for a long while and are constantly under threat from the West

The Trump Administration asked Israel beginning Monday not to carry out additional strikes on energy facilities in Iran, particularly oil facilities, following Israel’s wide-spread bombing of oil depots this past weekend in Tehran, according to three sources familiar with the matter who spoke to Axios’ Barak Ravid.

No you are trying to put words in my mouth or rather modis mouth. He said the perpetrators and handlers of these terrorists will be punished. That objective was achieved in day 1. He said water and blood will not flow. IWT is suspended. Info sharing is stopped and new dams are being built. These are stated objectives which have been achieved. That's why India has zero reason to prolong the war...else we get caught up like Russia Israel and Iran. We are glad we have an enemy who also don't have the cajones to fight and run to papa screaming nukes and 35 million.

I was answering your question..did it eradicate terrorism. That was not stated goal of what top Sindoor was and I was explaining if that was the goal...that would require a massive operation which will en foolhardy to pursue. Preventing terrorism in India sponsored by Pakistan via military deterrence is the goal that has been achieved so far but we don't know how long it will last.

I am not doing anything as such, you can keep shifting goal posts or do whatever that helps you sleep at night but Modi's exact words after Pahlagam: India will pursue the attackers "to the ends of the Earth". One of those goals was to eradicate Jaish (JeM) and their leader Masood Azhar. What India ended up doing is bombing a school and killing children. Masood Azhar's still alive. So objective complete?

And your military is no deterrence. We've owned you multiple times now. Aside from us, you even got slapped around by the Chinese (literally). But even aside from that, just the incompetence of your armed forces is exemplary across the World:

-Pahlagam itself was a massive security failure. Pakistani border is atleast 350Km away
-Remember Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh? And how your own air force accidently bombed it's own civilians after Pahlagam
-or how about INS Arihant? Where you guys accidentally left a hatch open in a nuclear submarine causing it severe damage due to sea water
-Just a few days ago 2 of your fighter pilots were killed after a fighter jet crashed in Assam

I'm sure there's many more such examples of the incompetence your armed forces show. You can't even get it right in your own country and you want to gloat that you have a victory over a professional army like the Pak armed forces? Maybe just in your head. The World knows better

No protests in Iran. By now, many had expected Iranians to be out in the streets trying to topple the government.

Iran’s ability to strike Israel doesn’t appear diminished either, if anything, the accuracy and its capacity to get through the Iron Dome seem to be improving.

And here’s the more important point, the Gulf states have effectively turned themselves into hostages of the very glass cities they built, luxury hubs designed to attract Western money. Openly siding against Iran risks draining that money out of their economies overnight.

Stop focusing on the bombs. Watch the money. A cheap drone can instantly evaporate trillions of dollars out of their economy.

'Israel assassinated 4 senior Iranian diplomats in Beirut'

Iran's Ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani has alleged that the Israeli government has assassinated four senior Iranian diplomats in what he describes as a "heinous crime" in the Lebanese capital Beirut.

In a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the envoy said that on March 8, the Israeli government had carried out a targeted strike at the Ramada Hotel in Beirut, claiming the lives of the victims. Iravani noted that after the IDF had publicly threatened to target Iranian official representatives in Lebanon, the diplomats had been temporarily relocated to the hotel as a safety measure.

In his letter, the ambassador alleged that the assassination of the diplomats "while serving as official representatives of a sovereign state in the territory of another sovereign state is a heinous act of terrorism and a grave violation of international law."

He further claimed that such a "flagrant breach" of the UN Charter and the 1973 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes against Internationally Protected Persons could not go unpunished. -- ANNI
