Major military facilities have been attacked by Israel in Iran

Rumours going around that IRGC Chief Major Gen. Hossein Salami was also targeted in the Israeli attack on Tehran

Israel strikes targets in Iran, despite ongoing U.S.–Iran peace and nuclear negotiations — a move that torpedoes hopes of a peaceful resolution. There were supposed to be further talks tomorrow, but it looks like Israel was threatened by them.

This could be the start of World War 3!

Why do people still believe the lying Trump and his adminstration?

It is clear this was done with complete US support, many weapons going to Ukraine were diverted and US citizens were warned against Iran travel well in advance.

Whatever israel is doing to Iran not only has Trump's approval but was likely ordered by him.

Iran won't get a better reason to wipe out that genocidal state of Zionist terrorists. Do world a favour

Perfect opportunity for IRAN To wipe out the Nazi state of the zionests Extremists.
With what though? Israel had already wiped out their air force, now blocked their defenses and attacked most of their major leaders.

If Iran was capable of doing anything they would have done a long time ago when Israel was striking inside Iran.

Iran’s supreme leader says Israel must expect “severe punishment”

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned Israel will face “severe punishment “ for its attacks on Friday.

Khamenei confirmed a number of commanders and scientists had been killed in the strikes, which Israel said hit nuclear targets, in a statement released by the Iranian state media agency, IRNA.

Khamenei said Israel had committed a “crime at dawn” and claimed it had struck residential areas.

“The regime must await a severe punishment.”

“In the enemy’s attacks, a number of commanders and scientists were martyred. Their successors and colleagues will, God willing, immediately continue their duties without pause,” he said.

“With this crime, the Zionist regime has prepared a bitter and painful fate for itself—and it will certainly receive it.”

Trump says he was aware of strikes beforehand - but reiterates US was not involved

US President Donald Trump has just spoken with Fox News about the strikes.

He said that he was aware of Israel's plans beforehand, but made it clear the US military played no part in the operation. He reiterated that he hopes Iran will continue negotiations with the US on curbing its nuclear programme.

"Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb and we are hoping to get back to the negotiating table. We will see," he told Fox News.

"There are several people in leadership that will not be coming back," he said, noting that the US has confirmed multiple Iranian leaders have died in the attack.

He said his administration reached out to one key Middle Eastern ally before the strike to also inform them - he did not say what country it was.

People are funny and defense experts before a country with much better striking capabilities destroys their facilities and bases with pin point accuracy.

Iran may have a huge arsenal of drones or missiles but Israel is clearly levels ahead in interceptions and precision striking capabilities. Very similar situation to what we saw between Pakistan and Bharat last month where a formidable regional army like Pakistan was unable to do anything as Bharat hit 25+ of its strategic bases with pin point accuracy. They had no answer to BrahMos and Iran here had no answer to Israeli daggers today.

Now Iran will rain whole bunch of missiles worth billion dollars + which the Israel will knock down with ease thanks to its Iron dome. Heck even Jordan was taking them down last time lol. Iran needs a revision of strategy. I have an idea but i will not disclose here.

Iran is confirming that the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘇 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗱. No news on radioactive fallout yet.

Trump: The US will defend itself and Israel if Iran retaliates .

But but he is a peacemaker .

This attacks would have not happened without full support of USA

I'm not in favour of this war neither defending Isreal but keep watching the statements/ Reactions of global player's.

Jordan says it will not allow its airspace to become battlefield

Jordan has said it will not tolerate any violation of its airspace, insisting that the kingdom will not be a battleground for any conflict, hours after Israel struck nuclear and military targets in Iran.

The country’s national security is a red line, and it will not allow any attempt to threaten its security and the safety of its citizens, government spokesperson Mohammad Momani said in a statement reported by Petra, the state news agency. He did not specify further details.

The statement is an echo of government comments made in April 2024, after Jordan intercepted Iranian drones and missiles headed for Israel. The small kingdom sits between Israel and the West Bank on one side, and Iran’s neighbor Iraq on the other.

The April 2024 attack was retaliation to a suspected Israeli assault on Iran’s diplomatic building in Damascus, Syria.

Jordan’s interceptions were widely criticized at home. The government later said they were intended to “protect citizens and residential areas.”

Israel has been unleashed in recent times.

Netanyahu and Temu Netanyahu have caused much tragedy and misery in the world. When will this madness stop so that people can live in peace?

Trump was negotiating in good faith and once again Netanyahu has sabotaged a deal for his own benefit. Israelis themselves are sick of him.

Can't help but feel that one death is not enough for these men who will happily commit murders just to keep power.

Israel says it launched a total of 200 aircraft at Iran and hit 330 targets. Says strikes will continue indefinitely.

Iran is all talk and no bite. Once again Israel has attacked them and they have no ways of inflicting any damage in return.

What were Iranians doing? Were they just sitting and sunbathing? They said just yesterday that they were ready for any attack and should therefore have taken their precautions and prepared accordingly. They have taken out top military personell so easily.

Iran launches about 100 drones towards Israel - IDF

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Brig Gen Effie Defrin says Iran launched "approximately 100 UAVs towards Israeli territory", which he says they are working to intercept

Defrin adds that the chief of staff of the Iranian army, the commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), and the commander of Iran's emergency command were killed in last night's strikes.

Iranian state media also reported earlier that Hossein Salami, the Revolutionary Guard chief, has been killed.

As a reminder, a state of emergency has been declared in Israel.

Eventually with their historic greed, the Yahud will bite off more than they can chew and then we will see

No muslim country can do anything to Israel . They only can give statement against Isreal . Bitter Truth. :kp

IRGC sources are claiming their response will be “regional” - I.e. they will target a bunch of countries they believe colluded with Israel. This may include disruption of crucial Persian Gulf shipping, but may escalate to retaliatory strikes.

Iranian state-run media reports that Iran will not participate in Sunday’s nuclear talks with the United States in Oman.

Anyway There’s no nuclear program left to negotiate over

IAEA says Iran's Bushehr nuclear plant not targeted

The UN’s nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), says Iran’s Bushehr nuclear plant was not targeted in Israel’s airstrikes, citing information from Iranian authorities.

The facility is the country’s first nuclear energy plant.

The IAEA also said no increase in radiation levels had been observed at the Natanz nuclear site, Iran’s largest uranium enrichment facility, citing officials.

Israel, IAEA and Iranian state media had all confirmed earlier that the airstrikes hit the Natanz facility, located about 150 miles south of the capital Tehran.

The site houses the country’s advanced nuclear program. Analysts say the site is used to develop and assemble centrifuges for uranium enrichment, a key technology that turns uranium into nuclear fuel. Images and video from the ground showed large plumes of smoke rising up from the Natanz site.

This is ridiculous. US and Russia can stockpile as many nuclear weapons as they want. But other countries cannot develop them?

They can restrict or ban any transfer of raw materials or technology, but who are they to be the watchdog of this world. If Iran can develop nuclear weapon on their own, then they are sure enough to be able to handle and maintain them.

Israel has no business attacking Iran unprovoked. Iran didnt attack Israel cities or were not part of the Oct 7 Palestinian brutality. They have lost their mind here.

Frankly I dont think Israel alone is capable enough to start this. US leadership backing is surely a must have for this one.

No increase in radiation from Natanz nuclear site, Iranian authorities tell watchdog

We've now heard more from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), who said earlier it was monitoring the situation closely after Israel targeted Iran's nuclear sites overnight.

The agency says it has been informed by Iranian authorities that the Bushehr nuclear plant has not been targeted and that no increase in radiation levels has been observed at the Natanz site.

Natanz is the site of Iran's main uranium enrichment facility - Iranian state TV said it was struck several times, with the IAEA confirming earlier it had been among the targets.

The facility is located about 225km south of Tehran - for more on Iran's nuclear programme read our earlier post here.

Six of Iran’s nuclear scientists were killed in Israel’s strikes, Iranian state-affiliated Tasnim news agency said Friday.

Among the scientists killed were Fereydoun Abbasi, the former head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization and Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi, a physicist who also served as president of Islamic Azad University, the news agency said.

Earlier on Friday, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei confirmed a number of military commanders and scientists had been killed in the strikes.

Jordan intercepted missiles and drones that entered its airspace, state media says

Jordanian Air Force jets and air defense systems shot down several missiles and drones that entered Jordan’s airspace on Friday morning, the country’s state news agency Petra reported.

Israel, which neighbors Jordan, launched unprecedented strikes on Iran on Friday.

Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft are “operating at a high level of readiness” to protect the airspace and ensure the safety and security of the country and its citizens, Petra reported, citing a military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces.

The source added that the interception operation was based on military assessments indicating the likelihood of missiles and drones falling within Jordanian territory, including populated areas, which could have resulted in casualties, according to Petra.

The Jordanian Armed Forces said it would not allow any violation of the country’s airspace, under any circumstances, Petra reported.

Iran is all talk and no bite. Once again Israel has attacked them and they have no ways of inflicting any damage in return.

If Houthis can hit Tel Aviv airport, Iran can destroy Tel Aviv. The issue isnt Iran is scared but it recognises what its dealing with.

Israel is a Zionist Messianic nutjob of a so called nation. Nethanyahu believes he is the last PM before their Messiah returns, he will go nuclear and happily take the world down with him. So if you want Iran to go all out attack, be prepared to suffer yourself in the future because of it.

Nobody knows where this will end up.

Not even the US can eliminate every nuclear site in Iran. As per IAEA, some sites are buried half a mile deep underground. There's also some at undisclosed locations. Killing a few generals doesn't change this.

Leaders can always be replaced but bigger concern for Iran is its capability in mounting any sort of response to restore deterrence. Its air defences were already weakened after last year. While unlike the hapless Palestinians, Iran is an established nation-state with allies it can mobilise - Russian resources are stretched in Ukraine. China tends (pretty wisely) to stay out of Middle Eastern confrontations.

Targeting shipping in the Strait of Hormuz seems likely but could prompt US intervention.

Regardless, Iran is entitled to defend itself from this barbarous Israeli aggression.

The absolute naivete of believing Trump, when it's clear he is the mastermind behind this, the weapon movement and warnings to Americans were clear nuch before this attack happened.

Trumps agenda against muslims is clear from a very very long time.

This is exactly why Muslims are suffering, they seem incredibly naive about things and trust exactly those who want to destroy them. Aligning with the wolves who want to eat them.

I mean it would have happened if Harris was president too.
No it wouldn't as she clearly spoke against escalation and her policy was very clear. She was very different from Biden in this respect.

People who were stupid enough to fall for Trumps lies are now backtracking to save face.

We know the Americans agenda in general and I am no means a Trump supporter or ally.

However in recent times there has been a widening gap between Washington and the Israelis.

Whereas in the past there was a collaborative approach, now Netanyahu leads and they follow. America seems more like they are being pulled into actions by the Israelis. The negotiations appeared genuine until this attack happened.

That doesn't make one a Trump supporter or naive to acknowledge this.

And in all honesty nobody fawns over Trump the way BJP supporting Hindus do.

Iranian dictatorship and Pakistani dictatorship are same in this regard.

A lot of talk. But during wartime, they usually get pounded like that. Pakistan;s case is much worse though which lost half their nation in 1971. Its unprecedented in the history of modern nations.

Iranian dictatorship & Pakistani dictatorship are similar in the sense that they both are only talk but no show during war. But at least Pakistani military dictatorship is clever, they act like pure mercenaries and sell their nation to the highest bidder. Iranian dictatorship on the other hand has been more interested in being a hero in the muslim world by standing up to the West alone. They're stupid in that sense. When you're isolated you better be defensive. Germany, Japan tried to go against the world, they fell. Russia is trying to go against the West solo and they're struggling to keep up. Iran failed to make meaningful alliances. Its i will do it alone attitude has been extremely naive.

Those Indians who support Trump are equally naive. Trump loathes brown people and never sees them as allies.

There is a huge difference between Americans looking the other way under Biden and Trump helping Israel to completely destroy Iran. That would never happen under Kamala.
