I am not saying he should be picked but what has Zahid done other than being a terrible domestic bowler in FC? T20 performances don't equal Test performances.

At the very least, Shadab is young, has potential and shown to more capable than a very old Zahid ever will.

More than anything, this simply shows why Yasir hasn't been replaced. Pakistan spin bowlers domestically are quite bad, especially in terms of leg spinners.

Well let's see who gets picked now, chief selector might be out the door.

Zahid had a good season, I saw him bowl some jaffas as well despite being expensive at times.

We have a management (Misbah, Waqar) who understands ANCIENT cricket very well
Players in dressing room ,must be treating stories like "Hmaare Zamaane main..", "Jab Mai tha.."

Series should always be 3 or 5 tests...no point in having 2 tests...over the course of a long series, the overall skills and quality shine through...
if 3 tests were on, pak would have won comfortably the series.

Waste of time, you know how it ends. Most of you are stuck in a vicious loop. You think because you’ve followed Pak cricket for 10,15, 20, 30 or however many years, that things will change eventually, so you stay watching this crapshoot of a team over and over again- hoping that after decades something will change.

Nothing has changed really. Either watch with zero expectations or don’t watch at all. That is the standard you should expect from Pakistan from here on out till the country itself actually sees some growth.

I know some people will take offense as usual, but keep following this team for another 10 years and you’ll be saying the same.

We were playing with only 7 players in the first test match and then 8 in the second. Terrible team selection as always where selectors and captain are only interested in playing their favorite players.
Abid, Imran, Azhar and Yasir should be dropped for the next test series. Yasir should never be selected for overseas tours.

We also have an unnecessary obsession with leg-spinners which needs to go.

A finger-spinner adds more value to our team overseas, as Nauman has already demonstrated.
