Is David Warner a flat track bully?

People underestimate how hard it is to consistently be so ruthless and deadly like Sehwag and Warner are in home conditions.
This.

People act like any batsmen can rock up to a flat wicket, score runs and win Tests on their own.

I think he will do much better in his next England tour.

Lol no he won't. Tbh how worse can you do than score less than 100 in 10 innings?
He can only perform on flat phattas. But he's really good at it so I'll give him credit for that.

The last Ashes series was unfortunate because it was his first series back and Broad got the wood on him immediately. In his previous Ashes tour to England, he scored 418 runs.

Warner is a home track bully, does nothing overseas, we Aussies can't believe he is still in the team.

Yeah we aussies cant believe how an opener with a 48 average holds his spot in the team.

An average of 48 despite his last 5 scores in Australia being 335*, 154, 56, 86 and 103 tells you all about him.

There are 7 other test playing countries in the world and he's inept in 6 of them.

I'm happy for you to list all the opening batsmen in the world that are better than him.

Doesn't mean anything, the opening batsmen in question aren't competing with Warner for a spot in the Australian team. If anything, you should be listing the names of those players in the Sheffield Shield who have a higher ceiling in global test cricket.

With zero hundreds. He also failed miserably in India in 2017 and also in Sri Lanka if I am not wrong. He cannot bat in the majority of Test playing countries.

A poor man’s Sehwag.

Well just name the two openers in world cricket today who you would select.

Warner vs Cook is still a legitimate comparison. Can you ever think Cook could match even 1/10 of what Warner has done at home?

And Warner is an excellent LO batsmen while Cook would do well to have a successful LO career playing for Pakistan, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh only.

I am sure others have also noticed how differently David Warner is batting in this tournament. Staying very low during power play, and using his low centre of gravity, bending down one knee and pulling even the good length balls. Few of the pull shots and leg side sixes he has hit in this WC are absolutely breathtaking. The one to Haris Rauf was shocking, it hit the edge of the roof of the stadium. Today also there was half pull-half glide six he hit off Henry. What is also shows is that players often have to discover their own ways to surprise themselves and others in big tournaments. His IPL last year was ordinary on there very pitches but even in the last year of his career, he developed a new technique for powerplay hitting.
