Is it okay to buy new bats made in 2011-2012?

What can possibly happen to a bat if its in stock for that long ? any technical answer is welcomed. thankyou

Not sure what technical answer you looking for but in short it should be fine. Esp if its still got that clear plastic covering as that would help seal in any moisture etc.....ofcourse if its from subcontinent and no sealing it will be dry as the sahara lol
