Is Pakistan one of the weakest sides when it comes to playing spin?

Some may raise eyebrows,but if you look at the records of all spinners like Warner,Murali,Kumble,Herath even Graeme Swann against Pakistan you will be surprised!! They have tremendous bowling record against Pakistanis have always struggled against decent and quality spinners.It seems a myth that they play spin well.Latest havoc and casually,last test against Srilanka.They couldn't even handle 136 against the Srilankan spin duo!!

starting to think that all these left arm spinners and leggies coming out of pakistan have boosted stats because they've feasted on Pakistani batsmen who suck against it, they're simply not learning, or don't have the correct equipment to analyze

From 1998 to 2013, spinners had better average against Pakistan than Eng, Aus, SA, SL and Ind. Only Zim, WI, Ban and NZ were worse.

Pakistanis plays spin well on normal tracks. On rank turners, I hardly have much confidence in Pakistani batsmen. Then leg spinners generally do well against Pakistan.

SA plays spin pretty well. I will bank on SA to do well as compared to Pakistan on any spinning track. In UAE, SA always did well. SA also won in SL. SA didn't score much in India, but on similar pitches, Pakistan is not likely to do better. Even Indians didn't really bat that well, but they had better bowlers for those conditions so won convincingly.

Pak may not be the weakest spin playing team, but they are one of the most weak team psychologically, need to hire a sport psychiatrist, some time it does help.

Selective stats to show support the theory Pakistan has traditionally struggled against spinners even when they had Inzi, MoYo, YK in the team.

Last 2 and half years, they have dominated spinners everywhere.

Nope England and Aus have better players of spin, don't go by reputation because that doesn't matter anymore after the absence of YK and Misbah who were ATG and world class respectively against spin.

England have root, Moeen Ali also plays spin better than anyone in this Pak team and don't forget Cook. Australia have Smith and even Warner of late has developed as an above average player of spin, even he can play spin better than of the top 6 Pak bats. Handscombe also plays spin better.

Pakistan is amongst the worst teams of playing spin. Aus, SA, SL, Ind, NZ, England and even Bangladesh all play spin better than these timid kittens.

Not true there is no Pakistan batsman who can match the likes of Cook, Root, Moeen Ali, Smith or even Handscombe against spin.

While MisYou were around, they were probably the best players of spin, all things considered. Played Herath very well last time around. Doesn't help that new hope for the future Babar is quite poor against spin.

Rangana Herath is world class. We constantly underestimate him.

Pakistan countered Herath with sweep shots in the 2015, such is Herath's class he didn't allow that too happen again in 2017
