Today is the last day of August, which means Champions Trophy is now officially only 6 months away and things are not looking good.

Before CT 2025 pakistan is currently facing Bangladesh for which Bangaldesh are already leading 1-0 and the 2nd test is now in danger of being washed out.

The next upcoming series after bangaldesh include

1) Pakistan facing England for 3 match test series in October

2) Pakistan facing Australia for an odi and t20 series in November. In this series we'll probably find out who our odi captain will be.

3) Pakistan facing Zimbabwe for an odi, t20 and one off test match in early December.

4) Pakistan facing South Africa in early to Mid December for a t20, odi and 2 match test series.

5) Pakistan facing west indies for a 2 match test series.

Overall before Ct 2025 Pakistan will be playing a total of 10 test matches, 9 Odi's and 8 T20's within a 6 month time period before Ct 2025, coupled with 2 warm up matches during Ct and a local Faisalbad cup to be played.

I've never seen this many series scheduled back to back for pakistan and that too againat a variety of sides. Usually pakistan is endlessly playing against NZ to prepare which doesn't help much.

With these many test, odi and t20 matches before CT 2025, can we say Pakistan will be well prepared before the event takes place?

Surely with these many matches we can figure out the right coaches, the right players as well as give players enough time to groom and mature and build a world class team? One that is capable of defending CT.

Are you sure about this? I don't think you are.

Pakistanis should hope that Babar gets back to his 2019 form where even though he didn't create a great impact he was still scoring runs and playing a great supporting role .

Each one of Fakhar, Saim,Saud,Abdullah, Rizwan will have to play one match winning innings

Pakistan team don't need to prepare for the champions trophy 2025

we have world class number 1 batsmen like like Babar and Rizwan, world class all rounder shadab, worlds best finisher iftikhar ahmed and the best bowling line up of harris rauf, shaheen afridi, hasan ali

we are already well equipped to compete at the highest level

Frankly no team is preparing for CT or WC and everyone only has between 8-12 ODIs max. It'll just come down to who has the right players in form.

Between WC 2023 and WC 2027 I will be surprised if any team plays more than 35-45 ODIs as the format is on the wane.

Pakistan was very well prepared for the World T20.

They played PSL + NZ tour + England tour.

Even this time, they'll be playing ODIs against SAF, OZ and a tri series at home just before CT.

That's more prep than most teams.

Yep, and they'll be in home conditions as well. Along with being recognized as the current holders of the Champion's Trophy.

Clearly the favourites going in.

Champions Cup is starting soon. I believe Chairman Naqvi's vision will see through. If the management can throw Babar out and Shaheen too potentially then they can build a team with performers that can defend a title.

People just need to back the Chariman.

Gary Kirsten will lose his job at the end of the tournament— which will be both predictable and ridiculous

No, he will be there for atleast 2 years whatever happens. He is an experienced world cup winning coach. Faults are with the players and selectors.

Yes, of course they are — everyone knows that.
But as soon as we are out of the CT (which we will be ) jealous ex-players will call for his head — and the PCB will try to save their skins by getting rid of the foreigner.

And yet we never see a result?

Infact we see last minute panick and useless changes and chops in the team that weaken it

Whenever this team made statements like we are prepared etc etc, they got humiliated. Let this team go unprepared.
