I mean you look at kalssen comments that it would be great to knock pakistan out after what they did to them in their home then you see shaheen getting heated up with sa players usually you dont see shaheen doing he is always chilled i think guys we are seeing something big here next big rivalry and the test series with noman and sajid playing will be great to watch.

Naw Pakistan and Afghanistan is a bigger rivalry.

Sa have nothing against us. It's not a rivalry beyond shaheen getting frisky with a newbie.

New Zealand and sa don't have any rivals.

Eng and aus are rivals in test cricket

Aus and India are rivals in test cricket and odi tournaments

Pakistan and India are rivals even if the gap is widening and India is becoming .ore dominant.

Nz, SA don't have any rivals plain and simple. Neither does wi. They use to have aus as a rival in 1960 but not anymore.

I can absolutely see that happening and it already is. South Africa already has past trauma of losing to Pakistan in ICC tournaments, add to the flavour of Klassen accusing Pakistani players indirectly of tampering the ball during the Pak-SA series. The war of words there. And then in the tri-series again a lot of heat being showed. Thoroughly enjoying this since we have the dominant hand on them so far. :yk3

The over the top knee jerk reactions our fans have to normal passion during a match is insane.

I like how SA dont give a crap about the wholesomeness that our team might try, so it makes our team stay on the edge and tend to do better against them.

Trust me, if SA was nicer to us, we would start losing to them, as become abit soft when teams are nice to us lol

Good point.

I think it has motivated Team Pakistan to do well.

It won't be wrong to say that Pakistan is one of the most exciting teams in world cricket right now. With their intense rivalries against India and now with Afghanistan and South Africa. Also they are the most unpredictable predictable team, they consistently keep fans on the edge of their seats, a thrilling team to watch.

This sounds like it was written by a bot :ksi

What's the rivalry? We are 4-0 in the last 4 matches. They barely scraped by us in the World Cup.
Its nothing compared to what they did to us in the 90s, Pakistan has avenged it a little with ICC tournament drubbing but still a long way to go.

90s-2000s they dominated completely. Since 2010s though PAK has had the wood over them in ICC tournaments and now in bilaterals/trilaterals too

Pakistan vs SA semi final , hopefully it happens. There will be some argy bargy stuff for sure.

Oh man I remember the trauma of that. Playing them it was a guarantee we'd lose everytime. They even beat us in the 96 WC at home, the only game where we were outplayed all match.

Yeah man this is exactly what I was thinking today. I mean there's a chain of moments and I'm loving it. I actually have a feeling of rivalry with them because I've been watching some videos of South African cricket vloggers too—they were angry at Saud Shakeel and Shaheen for showing aggression.

Lots of gali galooch and rona dhona going on South African twitter. Gibbs congratulated Pakistan and in response to someone cooked Babar for his poor communication skills. :afridi

Loved to see some PHADDA going on on-field between the players and some aggression of Pakistan players. But saying that Pak vs SA rivalry is gonna be the next big thing maybe too much... Let's wait and watch

Am interested to listen. Who are these vloggers?

Hopefully.

Rivalries are built organically after you have a number of tensely fought competitive series between two teams. We saw how close the test series got in South Africa when Pakistan almost won a test match there. Then you had Pakistan winning that white ball series i think. Now this little match became so important suddenly because of the knock out situation.

Hope this continues and as a result cricket fans are treated with some high quality cricket:

Rivalries are when you want to hide away when your team loses and jump up and down with delight.

I feel that way against India and come to think of it with Afghanistan too.

I also used to feel like it with England but things have mellowed now.

It will take a long time for those feelings to develop against South Africa.

Last 4 ODI series by SA against subcontinent teams

Lost to INdia home/Away
Lost to Afghanistan at neutral venue
Lost to Pakistan
Lost to Srilanka away

They were traditionally one of the biggest bilateral bullies upto a point. Oflate not that good.

Hain?? How Many times you asked me same question??

I already gave my answer.

:kp
You never gave a clear answer, which is why I am asking again. On one hand, you mock their team, and on the other, you call them favorites. So which one is it? :inti
