Is the PCB indirectly trying to help the PSL spot-fixers get off scot-free?

This is my suspicion. They initially said they had a very solid shut case against the trio but as events have turned out so far, it is clear that the evidence they have so far is not sufficient for a clear prosecution. Also the ICC head of the anti corruption unit confirmed that they were the ones who had tipped off the PCB regarding the trio in the PSL so it is clear that the PCB did not act out of their own goodwill.

I am surprised at how the PCB is giving as much time as possible to the Trio to figure out legal loopholes, excuses and to concot stories to get around the PCB evidence and it almost seems like the PCB wants the Trio to successfully contest the charges. The PCB has also on record said that they will respect the decision of the Spot fixing tribunal and will not contest any unfavorable decision.

I was baffled by how quickly they were willing to discard Sharjeel Khan who was very much needed in the ODI and T-20 and even test team when the team is devoid of effective modern day batsmen.

Anyways, this is my suspicion that the PCB secretly wants the PSL duo to be cleared so that they can come back to the team whereas the PCB still looks good to the international Cricket community that they tried to prosecute the Spot fixing offenders but were unable to come up with sufficient proofs to do so.

Keeping your damn mouth shut is the best strategy until the matter is in court...

prosecuting Spot/match fixers takes time.... these investigations always take time unless if the players himself claims guilty like the case of irfan and nawaz.... all such investigation have taken a lot of time.... justice qayoom verdict took almost two years.... 2010 spot also took a lot of time before icc handed them bans.... if amir hadn't accepted that he fixed and became a witness against salman and asif.... who knows how long the case would have been dredged.... despite having conclusive evidences icc still took 8 odd months to announce the verdict... same thing happened in azharrudin case and even mohammad ashraful case.....
it takes a hell lot of time

PCB should just make a back door deal and let these boys continue with their careers. I'll accept Sethi as the next man in charge if he just issues a slap on the wrist for all these lads with some financial fine or something.

No need to ban your assets and possibly hurt yourself.....

if this is not a joke then i must say this is ridiculous. .....
i cant even think of anybody saying such nonsense..... if this is the mentality, then there is no fault of players.....
if anyone is found guilty in fixing he must be banned from all forms if cricket and it must b ensured that he doesn't even play gully cricket....
as far as not reporting the approach is concerned small bans and bigger fines are just enough...
