Lol Sarfaraz's captaincy is over rated and he doesn't look like a captain who has been groomed for 10 plus years. Its all well and good to look like a decent captain when things are going your way, but he always wilts whenever the opposition counter attacks.

What are you talking about... dont you know the pitch made an u-turn immediately as after seeing Rohit and Dhawan ? It became a batting beauty from being a unplayable pitch ... can't you see!!!

Now today is the other scenario that needs to be balanced. Toss playing a vital role in deciding winners. Pitch easing out significantly after the first innings. Pakistan's world class attack otherwise potent and providing lot of variety were totally neutealized by the pitch. Authorities must take note and ensure that balance is maintained and not letting the pitch favouring particular sides.

One way would be to have a DL type formula to adjust the target and increase it appropriately to account for the ineffectiveness of the pitch.

I agree that that was some atrocious captaincy on display today but will disagree that his captaincy is overrated. He's done a really good job till now, especially with field placements and bowling changes. He's had a pretty attacking mindset which we severely lacked under Misbah.

However, for some odd reason, he's been totally off his game in this tournament. From wrong decision at the toss to horrendous field settings. He's looked quite clueless and confused. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw no slip today in the THIRD over of the innings.
