In the current Perth test which has not yet concluded mid-way through every innings the fortunes have fluctuated.Whenever the batsmen have been set and laying the foundation for a big score a major batting collapse has been initiated reminiscent of a thunderstorm intervening the hottest of days
In the morning session the pitch is as flat as a pancake while after lunch it is virtually by 180 degrees a different cup of tea.Still I feel it was one of the best ever wickets prepared for an absorbing test match. It had something for the batsmen and the bowlers. The ebb and flow in this match going into the 5th day is an indicator of the preparation of the pitch.
I wonder which test surpassed this one in terms of frequency of four wickets falling together so frequently.
