Is this Perth wicket for the Australia vs India Test 2018 one of the best ever prepared?

In the current Perth test which has not yet concluded mid-way through every innings the fortunes have fluctuated.Whenever the batsmen have been set and laying the foundation for a big score a major batting collapse has been initiated reminiscent of a thunderstorm intervening the hottest of days

In the morning session the pitch is as flat as a pancake while after lunch it is virtually by 180 degrees a different cup of tea.Still I feel it was one of the best ever wickets prepared for an absorbing test match. It had something for the batsmen and the bowlers. The ebb and flow in this match going into the 5th day is an indicator of the preparation of the pitch.

I wonder which test surpassed this one in terms of frequency of four wickets falling together so frequently.

I'm getting bored of us getting bundled out for 275.

Time for a pitch where we can score 400, and so can the opposition.

Unfortunately the MCG was a concrete slab last year (the one where Cook scored a 244) and was hauled up by the ICC so I suspect we'll get more of the same next test. Win the toss, win the game.

could viewers name a tset with 4 wickets failing in such frequency? Was this pitch great for test cricket?

It looks like an ideal test wicket to me. Good batters get runs, good bowlers get wickets and everyone else gets found out.

There is only one good batter between the two sides and the rest have been revealed.

If this were an Indian pitch, experts would whine 24x7 about the dangerous variable bounce, maybe ICC would have rated it as poor. Double standards everywhere.

I'm just happy this series is not full of those typical Australian concrete slabs.

Our bowlers can get the wickets in these conditions. But I bet getting killed by Lyon is not part of the plan!
