On a serious note, I love Dilruwan Perera’s bowling action!
 
There is no stand our spinner in the world today there are a group of very good spinners who are made to look better by poor batsmanship

Indeed, the Lionel Messi of Cricket. Many posters insult Messi by calling de Villiers as the Messi of this era but he pales in comparison IMO. The real Messi of World cricket is Shah while VK is the Ronaldo of cricket.

Jadeja is very cool Khan Saheb. His sword celebration has to be among the most anticipated celebrations ever.

As a bowler also at least in India he is right up there but your Bhaijaan has become a complete fan of Yessi’s ability to run trough the line ups and win tests for Pakistan single gingerly. It’s is a very special ability. In recent times only Herath had it.
 
After the era of Ajmal, Swann and Herath, Shah has been the best in the world.

Ashwin and Jadeja usually say bye-bye on anything that is not a rank-turner. Shah's average of 28 is well-earned, Ashwin and Jadeja's averages are heavily inflated.
 
Yes he is comfortably He doesnt rely on doctored dustbowls like some..
 
Him and Ashwin to be fair and Herath but he actually belongs to past generation being older and already retired.
 
As a country who has produced its fair share of match-winning spinners, it's amazing that none of them could have a long career in test match cricket! It's disappointing that out of Abdul Qadir, Mushi, Saqi & Kaneria, none got to 300 wickets! Yasir most likely won't get there either.

He may be better in some ways than Ashwin, or Herath, but they are better than him in others, and overall he can't claim to stand above others of his time. But he may well end up Pakistan's best spinner ever.

Unlike offspinners , he put a lot of effort in his bowling. The revs ,the drift and the pace are not easy to come by and requires a lot of stamina , fitness and wrist flexibility. He is 32 (officially) , in my opinion at best he can play for another 4 years and another 130 140 wickets.
 
Yasir will walk into Pakistan all time Test XI as a premier spinner.

It's clearly Shah vs Lyon right now.

As a friend of Indians i am sad that no Indian earned a comparison here for the top spot but that's the way it is.

He fell off big time.

Looked very good for a while though.

Misbah ran him into the ground a couple of tours and lack of other bowling fire power meant that all the burden was on him.
 
He was good in intial part and then I saw Misbah asking him to bowl negative line outside leg stump in the first 15 overs of test match in Aus. Never saw anything like that. Match had just started.

Sadly i might have unintentionally jinxed him.
 
Definitely the best of this generation, unlike Ashwin he never had the luxury of Jadeja and bunsen burners.
And unlike Lyon he never loafed with a world class pace attack.
