This is bigger than what I thought no wonder the indians are crying 😆

Alongwith the pti which seems to hace gone really quite and in a comatose

Hopefully there is some fruition in these talks but the main problem is israel like khwaja asif came lashing out who is the main obstacle to peace .
They are hell bent on war .

This is like Pakistani fans do Bhangra when Smith and faf ready to play in PSL but they were Unsold in IPL and regularly features in IPL in their prime. .. kya kare last time when was USA head of State visited in Pakistan?

Ohh he is not even head of State but vice president. . And he was in the india for a week with family but no one care about that tour.

:klopp :kp

I know you wont sto to keep some threads on right track, but still i will do my try. Meeting is happening to stop the war, yeah i know you would love the war to continue because you love Muslims, innocent civilians be it kids or whatever be killed everywhere. Doesnt matter if its in Iran, Palestine or even in India. But as you said, no one care. Then i dont know why do you care so much despite of saying again and again we dont care, we dont care about Pakistan or Iran or USA etc etc... Then why even bother?

Your media + you guys, would love to mock Pakistan, Iran, USA but you wont dare to say anything about Israel, idk who you keep missing Israel while bashing USA or others left right centre, maybe because of being Fatherland as Modi said...

So kindly, as you said repeatedly this war etc aint India problem, then better stay away or keep your childish trolling away and let people discuss serious things on topic. There are many other threads to derail though so you can go there.

Offcourse, i cant force, just my suggestion. PEACE out/ (But sadly, you are like your Media who dont wanna see this PEACE) :)

US official denies claims Washington agreed to unfreeze Iranian assets

US media is reporting that an American official has denied any frozen Iranian assets have been released, despite earlier reports to the contrary.

Iran's speaker of parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who is leading the delegation, had said this would need to happen before negotiations could even begin.

A move like that would be very difficult to justify to Donald Trump's supporters in the United States.

Sources inside Pakistan's government and Iran's delegation have told the BBC that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had met with senior Iranian officials. A photo was released of Sharif also meeting US Vice President JD Vance.

But it's unclear whether Pakistan shuffling between the two sides will lead to historic face-to-face talks, or an agreement between the United States and Iran.

Do you read a famous idiom " sau choohe khaakar billee haj ko chalee " (After eating a hundred rats, the cat went to Hajj)

Pakistani are talking about peace after killing 400 Afghanistan patient in a hospital bombing.

And why was post deleted. .. why are you hurting from reality? Face it.

:kp

Hopefully this peace talks have positive effect and killing of innocents will stop in middle East. JD vance is perfect man to attend this peace talks. He is opposite of Trump in every way

@emranabbas

Why FM ( Munir ) recieved Iranian Delegation in Unform and American VP in Civillian clothes? Apart from Fact that it is not his role or mandate to do so

Received the Iranian delegation in military uniform to send a clear message: we stand with you diplomatically and militarily.

Then received the American Vice President in formal diplomatic attire to show support through diplomacy.

Asim Munir may have played pivot role but it was nt his place to Recieve the delegations. We have Govt officials for that. There was no military commander in Iranian Delegation

State protocols should nt be changed regardless of role enacted

What difference does it make.. pti supporters are bound be sour and make something out of nothing.

Pakistani sources and the White House confirmed face-to-face talks have been taking place between the US, Iran and Pakistan
It comes after delegations met separately with the Pakistani prime minister. He said he was hoping both sides would "engage constructively"

We haven't heard much from the closed negotiations in Islamabad, and our correspondent on the ground says information is limited - watch her full report

Meanwhile, Donald Trump says - in a series of Truth Social posts - that Iran is "losing big" in the conflict, and claims the Strait of Hormuz "will soon be opened"

Israel has said it has struck more than 200 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon in the last day, while Beirut's health ministry says six people have been killed in raids in the south of the country, with five others injured

Trolling aside, but this fixation is the reason behind India's abysmal diplomatic performance. They need to reset their FP.

This foreign policy was never sustainable. You can’t spend years branding a country as your sworn enemy, amplifying it daily across domestic media, using it to marginalize your own citizens and then suddenly claim you’ve diplomatically isolated that same country.

That contradiction was always going to catch up. Only the most uncritical minds bought into that narrative.

Aye? At the peak of the war we were getting our ships lol. Took the least impact. That’s what diplomacy is, not semantics.
So does every nation, who were purchasing oil in Yuan. No offense but under Modi, Indian FP personifies an unloyal girlfriend who keeps on changing partner to just show the previous partner that she is upset with him

For instance, when Trump threatens Modi he rashes into Russia, China camp and when reverse happens you see him attending Quad meetings. A typical example of neither fish nor fowl.

that’s not the way to look at it. India’s policy is India first. When you have 1.4 b people to feed, you can’t work on sentiments. We bought Russian oil at the height of the Ukraine war despite all the threats because 1. We need the utilities for the common man 2. Russia has been our only friend in times of need throughout modern history.

Rather I would argue, your govt should have cut a deal first to give relief to its people than trying to make a name for themselves and show-off just to prove a point .

There is already no gas and wfh situation in Pak and you want to shut down for 2 more days hosting the most sensitive talks in recent history and strain the economy further? That doesn’t seem like a Pakistan people first policy to me. It seems more like let us give the Pakistani on social media something to gloat about policy to me.

Purchasing oil from Russia was a great move undoubtedly, but why you keep participating in Quad? Knowing very well it is the reason why countries like Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka keeps ditching India at China's behest.

Long story short, messing with China is in least interest of Indian economy and national security but you keep toeing US agenda.

No breakthrough so far

Iran’s Tasnim shares more details on late-night negotiations

Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency is reporting additional details about the late-night negotiations in Islamabad.
It says Vance, Witkoff and Kushner are all present on the US side, while the Iranian side is represented by Araghchi, Ghalibaf and Bagheri Kani.
The agency also said, “It seems that this is the last chance for the Iranian team to reach a common framework in this round of talks.”

Nothing solid appears to have been agreed yet

According to my sources, despite the Iranian delegation’s readiness to remain in Islamabad, there are many sticking points. These points aren’t being solved at the moment.
When it comes to the Strait of Hormuz, the gaps aren’t being bridged.
The two sides have a kind of a framework, but this framework isn’t actually comprehensive, and it doesn’t cover all the issues that both sides have differences over.
So, at least from what I heard from these sources, there’s nothing really solid to expect from these talks for now.

If there was no Israel involved, there should've been a truce.

But, Israel always escalate.

Let's see what happens this time.

No deal - US delegation leaving Pak.

Another cycle of 300+ people will be dying.

Vance: U.S. leaves Pakistan talks without agreement after 21 hoursSpeaking after marathon negotiations in Islamabad, Vice President JD Vance outlined the outcome and U.S. position, saying Washington has shared with Iran its “final and best offer” on “a method of understanding.” Adding: “We’ll see if the Iranians accept.”

Here’s more from Vance:

Talks lasted 21 hours with what he described as “substantive discussions” with Iran

No agreement reached, which Vance framed as “bad news for Iran much more than… the United States”

U.S. presented clear red lines and terms, saying Iran “chose not to accept” the

Did not detail the demands, but suggested core disagreement is US wants a firm, long-term commitment from Iran not to pursue a nuclear weapon or the capability to rapidly build one

Vance claimed Iran’s previous enrichment facilities have been destroyed, but said the issue is now political will, not capability

Confirmed talks covered frozen assets and broader issues, but no breakthroughs were achieved

Said the U.S. was “flexible” and negotiating in good faith, while maintaining its core conditions

U.S. officials were in constant contact with Trump and the national security team throughout the negotiations

Washington “leaves here with a very simple proposal, a method of understanding, that is our final and best offer. We’ll see if the Iranians accept,” Vance said.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s spokesperson, after 12-hour talks between the U.S. and Iran mediated by Pakistan, says:

“Diplomacy for us is the continuation of the sacred struggle to defend the Iranian land,” stressing Iran will not compromise on its rights. Talks in Islamabad continue on key issues including the nuclear program and the Strait of Hormuz and ceasefires.

We thank Pakistan for hosting peace talks and supporting this process.

It's not the result the world wanted, but ground reality is not as bad as it sounds. The talks haven't resulted in a 'collapse', and need more time. Ceasefire needs to hold for now.

As talks were underway in Islamabad, 2 things happened

-Pakistan sent air military assets to Saudi Arabia

-US military: two naval ships ‘transited’ Hormuz for mine clearing .

Pakistan is betraying Iran .

Oh yes and the Iranians are thanking Pakistan for betraying them.

Your just sour about pakistan and backside is burning since the last 2 days

the low grade pathetic indian media will start celebrating the failure of these talks because they were being coordinated by Pakistan.....and then their citizen ask why can't the two countries live together. They can't, satanism can never live besides God fearing and believing population.

Hahaha 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Sabar to karo Iran hi gali dega kuch din main ..

Just like I already knew that this meeting is not going to change anything but USA buying more time to move their assets in middle East.

:klopp :kp

Now, Pakistan's role as a mediator and peacemaker is questionable though their journalist assets in Reuters, BBC, Bloomberg etc keep hyping up Pakistan's US commanded and forced sepoy role here.

:klopp :kp

A+ efforts by Pakistan though for trying.

Turkey now will join the attacks on Israel if the War resumes

I don’t think Iran will give up its nuclear programme that seems impossible. One of the main reasons there was no agreement

Iran is also unlikely to give up control over the Strait of Hormuz again.

Sounds less like criticism and more like disappointment that India wasn’t the one getting the calls from Reuters and Bloomberg.

Of course, because according to indians every move in the Middle East is secretly about buying time, unless India is involved then suddenly it becomes master diplomacy and dhurandar 3 is made 🤣🤣🤣

You have been exposed as a joker give it a rest now

What is there to be jealous about Pakistan?

Even assuming, they were playing some role. It is due to:

Pakistan is an Islamic nation

Immediate neighbour to Iran
Pakistan is a vassal state of US

Asim Munir and Shehbaz Sherif acting like personal assistants to Donald Trump

Even a tweet Pakistan PM has to post is drafted by White House

Read that Islamabad's security has been taken over by US forces today (for the purpose of meeting) as they don't trust locals.

So there is nothing to feel jealous about Pakistan. It is a pity that the country has become America's slave.

Or by calling Netanyahu asli papa 🤣🤣🤣🤣

believe Trump knew that the "ceasefire talk" would fail, and hence he chose JD. Vance as a representative. Otherwise, he himself would have traveled to take credit.

And certainly demand a Nobel Peace Prize all thanks to Pakistan government nomination.

Pakistani Defense Minister following Islamabad talks:

Several rounds of intense and constructive negotiations continued for twenty-four hours between US Vice President JD Vance and Iranian Parliament Speaker Qalibaf, mediated by Pakistan's Field Marshal Asim Munir. Pakistan expresses gratitude to both sides for appreciating its mediatory role.

"We hope that the two sides continue with the positive spirit to achieve durable peace and prosperity for the entire region and beyond. It is imperative that the parties continue to uphold their commitment to ceasefire."

Pakistan will continue facilitating engagement and dialogue between Iran and the United States in the days to come.
