PAK players don't grow in mental toughness, probably due to playing most domestic matches under little or no pressure. Ahmed is out performing two of the best ever in a Final, once he is dropped from PAK team; Sharjeel & Rizwan also improved the day they were dropped (& now Sharjeel is called back, so is Sami & Latif - let's see what they can do). These players looked totally different when there is something at stake, which indicates that PAK players need tougher competition at club/FC level.

You have to look at the bigger picture. If Sami bowls now that means spinners for the death overs. Misbah wants the game to flow till the 15th over, but Sangakkara and Shehzad have scored 10-15 runs more than he'd have hoped.

I think, today, Misbah's strategy is to contain QG within a manageable total. He has kept Sami for last 7 overs (which might back fire as QG now have wickets & 2 set player at wicket), but it indicates that Misbah is confident about chasing anything under 170.

Not sure if it's the right strategy for a Final - may be bringing Sami just when Kumar came o bat was the better option. In Elliot & Mac, QG has 2 very good hitters.
