Its your pipe dream. Indian electoral process despite all its fault is so strong and its not a banana process like Pakistan. States have good freedom while Centre has adequate control to maintain the democratic process. Political scenario is very well diversified in India. Many Indian Christians, at least in the South, have Hindu-sounding names. I actually knew a guy in school called Vivek Pai who was Catholic. They are Brahmins who converted several hundred years back but retained their Hindu names and some traditions. Then there's a friend of my brother called Akbar. His dad's a Christian and mother a Hindu, so they decided to give their son a Muslim name

The naming is often like - the older Christian communities tend to name their kids Hindu names. The newer converts tend to go with a George, Thomas, Mathew, Anne, Sarah etc.

Indians do unconventional things. I don't think Washington Sundar is a Christian for example. His father was an aspiring cricketer but struggled financially. A Christian priest or someone helped him out, so when he had a kid, he named him in his honour.

Kamal Haasan, a famous South Indian actor is a Brahmin. But his father later changed his name and gave him a Muslim surname in honour of his late Muslim friend who I believe died during the Independence movement..

Yes. My mother is pretty religious and spends most of her time studying some of the texts. But she goes every few months to a Christian shrine in Bengaluru called Infant Jesus. She sees zero contradictions in it. Even Vivekananda sometimes prayed to Mary and Jesus and is probably the greatest modern Hindu leader, fiercely proud of his religion.
