I don't know what it is like in America, but Hindus were pretty easy going about adopting foreign culture in the UK, and that included Christian values. But with the rise of hindutva and Modi idolised by so many Indians I would imagine they might be more assertive about their religion in future.

It doesn’t matter because those Hindus except a few Gujjus are rarely the corporate going majority, you can see the amount of Hindus celebrating Halloween in India or even Christmas(tree) is very high..

Hindutva can try but they will at best be able to target UP Bihar Gujarat and they can’t influence Hindu population in other states culturally.

I don’t know if it’s a good thing or not, because right wing of every religion calls such practices as forbidden, Indonesian Muslims are also doing that but the country is still progressing, same with Malay Muslims they both are pretty right wing but economic progress is there.. due to which they can influence other Muslims in their country, in India the famous Hindus are mostly South Indians that don’t care about these things or celebs who are equally secular or dislike Dharmic faiths

Just scroll up and you’ll see Hindus and Hindu Atheists saying how adaptable and flexible Hinduism is that it can become anything they want and worship whatever and whoever they want.

doesn’t make sense for them to be assertive when they can customize their faith to fit whatever environment they’re in including just leaving their faith altogether. Remember, not too long ago, Trump was taken as an idol by certain Hindus as well, but now after recent events they went back on it.

UK vs USA – The “Indian” Issue​

These are my personal observations based on years of following White Supremacy and Working Class "White Culture" and cultural trends in both the UK and the US.​

• Among working-class White communities in both countries, there tends to be limited genuine acceptance or admiration for Indians, particularly Hindus, though the sentiment often extends more broadly.​
• In the post-9/11 and anti-Muslim political climate, some Hindutva-aligned or nationalist Indians have attempted to align with right-wing White movements, especially in the US. However, these efforts are frequently rejected quite harshly; I’ve seen this dynamic repeated many times in online spaces.​
• In the MAGA movement, there appears to be little acceptance of Indians in general. Relationships between Indians and White partners (in either spousal direction) often attract disproportionate criticism from within that base.​
• Due to demographic shifts and more diverse representation, Indian and Pakistani politicians have found greater traction in the UK than in the US, where similar success stories remain rare and tend to depend on specific regional demographics.​
• Interestingly, some MAGA or conservative Christian values overlap with certain Islamic social teachings. In parts of the American South, there’s a quiet recognition of these parallels. Prominent right-wing figures, Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and others, occasionally touch on this alignment as broader distrust of mainstream narratives grows.​

In contrast, within African-American culture in the US, Islam already holds an established presence, whereas Hinduism or Indian cultural influence remains minimal.

Overall, Hinduism doesn’t seem to intersect meaningfully with Christian-based (either White or Black) cultural frameworks, and many younger people in these groups appear to be turning back toward faith-based identities rather than secular or imported philosophies.

The “convert” or “revert” culture in both the US and UK has become so widespread and normalized that it barely draws attention anymore. It’s entirely common to see people from all backgrounds, whether white with blonde hair and blue eyes, Latino, or African American — embracing Islam. Conversions are now a regular occurrence, often happening weekly or even daily in mosques across both countries.

If you don’t live in the American South, it’s hard to understand how deeply Islam is spreading there and how it’s quietly finding acceptance among everyday MAGA supporters (from a values perspective). Relying on mainstream media or the usual anti-Islam blogs gives a completely misleading picture of what’s actually happening on the ground.

@aboveandbeyond you should visit the deep South and see what Islam is doing here...When you have Mosque"s" in rural Virigian and West Virginia with dozens of White Reverts (men and women) miles from "Jews will not replace us" then you know something substantial is happening!

Vance is a politician above all so I would not be surprised if Usha Vance will adopt Christianity soon as Vance wouldn't have opened this line of discussion if something wasn't already in the pipeline.

World leaders must realize that its not the decoupling from China that’s required but they have to prepare to decouple from the US. Both in terms of trade and dollarization.

Even though the US has witnessed some dumb leaders in the past, they are not close to the current economically suicidal guys like Biden and Trump.

India for its future must diversify from the US in a good way. It’s going to be a difficult to maneuver in the future. US is paranoid in losing its dominance and it will happen by 2050-60. India and China will dominate the future and we need to be prepared for it.

With the AI driven surge pushing American tech valuations to unprecedented heights, and the uncertainties surrounding crypto, we’re heading toward a series of devastating market crashes until several nations are economically wrecked and the global population witnesses a severe erosion in the value of their non-tangible assets.

Vivek has quickly realized that he will never get anywhere with Trump leading the Republicans. He sucked up to Trump during Trump campaign. But he wisely moved out of DOGE and started concentrating on his home state Ohio for the 2026 Gubernatorial elections.

Until MAGA goes and Republicans get back to their traditional roots, no non-white, non-Christian person can ever survive the coming decade as you pointed out.

Far Left and MAGA have taken the polarization of American public to new heights. They cannot even bare the sight of someone of opposite views. They would prefer violence over amicable adjustment.

India will never dominate the future and never be a superpower simply because of its inability to feed its massive population in the future. India is a mere (bad) economic cycle away from utter and abject poverty. China is a shining example of how to pull populations out of poverty and constantly working on the perennial problem which has plagued geographies with a similar (population) conundrum.

Indians like to compare themselves to Pakistan when they should be comparing themselves to China.

Vivek is a pretty good politician. He is more centre right. In the UK we had some decent centr right politicians too but they have been drowned out by those pandering to the racists.

One thing though you keep saying far left. US has never had any mainstream far left politicians...but the crazy right wing get elected time and time again. US is not polarised, it is a basket case right wing country now.
