Amla has now batted his last innings for the series and over the course of the series this is what he has done.

Code:
Test Innings Player R B
1st Test 1st Innings HM Amla c Smith b Hazlewood 0 5
1st Test 2nd Innings HM Amla b Hazlewood 1 7
2nd Test 1st Innings HM Amla c Nevill b Hazlewood 47 67
3rd Test 1st Innings HM Amla c Renshaw b Hazlewood 5 11
3rd Test 2nd Innings HM Amla C Wade b Hazlewood 45 80

Can anyone remember the last time a bowler dominated a batsman of such high calibre like this in one series before?

Hazlewood again proving that despite all the hype about Starc and Pattinson and Cummins that he is Australia's best test bowler

Anderson dominating Kohli
Broad dominating AB
Ajmal dominating English batsmen in uae 2012

Hazzlewood remind me of Mcgrath

Steyn vs Hafeez

McGrath vs Lara, Artherton, Sachin

Amla had a very poor India series too.

Now this one again where he avgs 19.6 in the series. Not looking so good.

As for OP,

Johnson vs Cook
Anderson vs Kohli
Ashwin vs Williamson
Yasir vs Bairstow

And so on..

Anderson dominating Kohli
Broad dominating AB
Ajmal dominating English batsmen in uae 2012

Anderson got Kohli 4 times in 10 innings. Hazlewood already has Amla 5 times in 6

Jadeja vs Clarke in India back in 2013. Clarke just had no answer for Jadeja.

700? He was Australia most successful batsman on that difficult tour but he never scored that much. I think you are confusing with 11-12 series.

Yes that's correct. He got an excellent hundred on a dustbowl at MA Chindambaram, apart from that India had his measure for the rest of the series.

You see those Amla outs and realize except for one flash, all pretty good balls.....Nevertheless a batsman of his quality could have done a bit better.....he is clearly out of touch

Asif dominating AB..

Broad never really dominated him but has got him out several times.Hasn't exposed AB the way Asif did.

AB struggled against broad a lot. It's not always about the dismissals it about how much a bowler troubles a batter as well. Broad has dismissed ab and made him looo uncomfortable.

Asif did cause AB a lot of problems as well

Starc and Haz what a magnificent duo!

Hopefully they will remain injury free for many years to come

Irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
Amla just won a third series in that country.
Was instrumental in two tours.
His 45 in the current innings could prove instrumental.
This game is not won just yet. Having watched ample games between the two nations, we ought to know better

Looks like Hazlewood will give the Pakistanis a hard time. He's the sort of bowler who over the years has troubled Pakistan.

Remembering Phil Hughes (RIP) on this day by paying tribute to him (c Guptill b Martin) during NZ's last tour. Quite ironic actually.

Phil Hughes - c Guptill b Martin happened in all 4 innings of the 2 tests played in 2012
