Pakistanis seem to have gone beserk on finding out that she is in Pakistan. What's so fascinating about it? Where ever you look today on SM, it is about this. :))

She has been going for years to visit family friends etc;

How to be loved and respected in Pakistan 101:

(1) be a foreigner
(2) visit Pakistan
(3) write on social media that Pakistan is a beautiful country with hospitable people.
(4) milk it for years

For more information, contact George Fulton (George ka Pakistan guy) and especially, Jeremy McLellan, that comedian who is still relevant because of making corny Pakistan-related jokes after visiting in 2016.

As a nation, we are very hungry for foreign appreciation and publicity. It is almost embarrassing, so if you are foreign tourist who wants to become famous, just come to Pakistan and talk about it on social media.

Juhi Chawla’s case is quite different, but it is embarrassing how she is all over social media today, just because she posted a picture in Instagram about being with family and friends in Karachi. She is not even relevant anymore, it is not as if Anushka or Deepika have been spotted in Pakistan.

No wonder other countries laugh at us.

Lol.

A perfect example of irony. So if a foreigner say a good word about Pakistan and Pakistani agree and appreciate then Pakistani are hungry? Lol, lol, lol, do you expect Pakistanis to bad mouth them and shun them because they appreciate Pakistan?

You should be the last one talking about mocking Pakistani's for being hungry for Foreign appreciation when you use Foreign criticism against Pakistan to support your views most of the times.

There is a difference between appreciating and obsessing. We don’t just appreciate foreigners who visit Pakistan and say good things; we become obsessed with them to an embarrassing level.

There is no reason why Juhi Chawla should be on social media all over Pakistan, with people doing bhangra in her honor.

Obviously it has to do with the fact that tourism is dead in Pakistan save for some European hippies and mountaineers in the northern areas, and also because of the (self-created) negative perception of Pakistan in international media.

As a result, we go completely overboard whenever some foreigner comes to Pakistan and says something positive. It has nothing to with badmouthing them or shunning them - don’t create a false narrative to prove your point. Of course, any tourist who goes to a certain country and writes good things is praised, but we go completely overboard to the point where it becomes cringeworthy.

They are not related. A lot of criticism that Pakistan draws from foreign quarters is relevant, but we brush it aside as conspiracy, hatred or Islamophobia, because we don’t like to hear the truth.

But we don’t have to do bhangra if some foreigner comes to Pakistan and says good things.

Who is we? You do not speak for every Pakistani, so stop embarrassing yourself, try to only speak for yourself.

So the person posted about visiting Pakistan and Pakistani like any other people in the world on Social media talk about it then this become overboard and obsessing?

This is more embarrassing than Reham Khan embarrassing herself, at least she had a reason, 15 minutes of fame.

My dude, nothing wrong in appreciating those who appreciate Pakistan, it isn't obsession, people follow them on social media and when news feed popped up, they comment and like, just like you jump on every opportunity to turn every positive of Pakistan into negative, similar to Reham Khan, who would jump on everything that has to do with IK.

Lol one washed up celebrity visits Pakistan and the news becomes viral with likes and shares all over the Internet. Pakistanis do have the habit of seeking validation from the foreign celebrities.

Aisey India main Kitne foreign celebrities aate hai jaate hai Kiski ko Pata hi nahi chalta aur Pakistan main Breaking News ban jaati hai.

Nick Jonas hasn't been relevant in years. Yet...

lol, sure

that is why Indian celebrity host dawat for the non-brown celebrities, which is highlighted by Indian media and social media.

It seems Sidhu is inspiring others now. Indian and Pakistani Army Men dancing together, bollywood actress Juhi Chawla visiting Pakistan.

So what? Her career is more or less over not that she was ever a great actress to begin with. It is only natural to be hospitable to a guest, right? Juhi often visits Karachi to see her close blood Uncle, nothing else. This is not too be mistaken as her being pro Pakistani. I only ever saw her in the classic "Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak".

Totally I agree with you, this inferiority complex is pitiful, and the coverage given to McLellan just because he makes pro Kashmir or pro byriani tweets is the paroxysm of such psychological failure.

How dare Pakistani talk about these foreigners coming to Pakistan and run around. We as Pakistani shouldn't promote whatever limited tourism we get in northern area just because these people are foreigners and it's at time limited to nortern Pakistan.

You would say all of the above, if you were Reham Khan, lol
