jurassic park was the movie that made it acceptable to watch english movies. before that english movies meant only for adults.
in india, only adult english movies were screened in theaters. i remember seeing Capital A on movie posters, with blonde women showing skin, to be shown in seedy theatres. Someone told me A stands for Adult. so i grew up thinking adult means dirty. it was jurassic park that broke this taboo for family audience, and for the first time families could take their kids to theatres to watch english movies. basically english movies became mainstream.Huh?!
I remember seeing Jurassic Park 1 when I was still at school...unforgettable.
Wont bother to watch this.
The first one had a really unique premise and an underlying moral dilema that made it a gripping movie to watch. It didn't just rely on
All the recents have just been special effects and poor storylines.
Will still be probably be enjoyable but not enough to fork out at the cinema, I'm happy to wait a few months until its on TV.
Hollywood is running out of ideas. Every second film is a cheap remake designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia for the original.
TV shows are the place for genuine drama now.
Just watched it - tbh - I love escapism! so anything that doesnt exist in this world which I can see in the cinema is fine by me.
Entertaining is the way to describe this.
Nice one bro!
An opinion from someone who has watched the movie.
Will watch in 4DX and report back.
I watched it with my wife and kids last week and the kids loved it. Me and the mrs were extremely disappointed. We loved the first Jurassic World but the 2nd and this one just did not have the excitement or suspense.
I have realised that all the movies that were based on the islands were the ones we enjoyed. As soon as they leave the islands it isn’t the same fun.
Looks like some one sided deletion of posters here while sadly daft rants about liberals seem to be ok.
If these posts are allowed to stand then, surely the counter point about the fact that hollywood is the biggest promoter of liberalism should be allowed to stand too.
Otherwise every thread will just be a ranting point for crazies.
