Awesome...I'm looking forward to the first trailer.

I like the throwback to the first movie in that teaser with those herd of Gallimumus.

I only ever liked the 1st one - an unforgettable movie experience in cinema as the computer generated images had only just kicked off during that time. But the story was decent as well.

Lost world was disappointing sequel.

3rd part was forgettable.

Let's hope they have a decent plot for this one.

True, JP1 was epic and I still have it on my laptop which I enjoy from time to time but the 2 and 3 were atrocious.

Looking forward to this one though, its been a long time coming.

Cant wait, its one of those movies which truely spread hollywood science fiction across the world. I loved it and watched it many times.

A great franchise which should make more movies.

I remember seeing Jurassic Park 1 when I was still at school...unforgettable. I remember being proud to wear my Jurassic Park shirt during rugby training!

jurassic park was the movie that made it acceptable to watch english movies. before that english movies meant only for adults.

Michael Crichton wrote the books and they were surprisingly good stories, far better reads than I thought they would be. I tried reading a couple of other books by him as a result and they were really boring and I ditched them halfway through.

in india, only adult english movies were screened in theaters. i remember seeing Capital A on movie posters, with blonde women showing skin, to be shown in seedy theatres. Someone told me A stands for Adult. so i grew up thinking adult means dirty. it was jurassic park that broke this taboo for family audience, and for the first time families could take their kids to theatres to watch english movies. basically english movies became mainstream.

Looking forward to this. The movies that followed Jurrasic Park in the franchise completely destroyed it.

Jurassic World

I have been counting the days on my fingers ever since I have heard of this one. Can´t wait! Very excited and all set.

It reminds me a bit of the first one.

Hopefully it will be decent.

Terribly disappointed seeing the trailer.

Corny dialogues, terrible CGI. Shows how far ahead of its time was the 1st one released in 1993. Superior in CGI, dialogues & everything.

wow the dialogue in this trailer is terrible...

"shes a highly intelligent animal"

"she will kill anything that moves"

Jurassic Park 1 is all time classic. Have seen it multiple times. Can't wait to see this one

Trailer #2

1 month and 8 days to go.

Yeah I agree, but I am a big fan of the original Jurassic Park but the II and III were awful. Looking forward to this one now.

You are being harsh on Star Wars. It has a great story and proper fan following, plus they needed to do this new trilogy because of the expanded universe.

I remember seeing Jurassic Park 1 when I was still at school...unforgettable.

I remember, as a man grown, leaning forward and grabbing the seat in front when the T. rex attacked the jeep.

The latest film “Dominion” is now in cinemas!

Possibly the last in the franchise.

What do people think of the movie?

I will watch it this week. It's sad that an epic franchise is coming to an end. I say epic even though the 1st and 2nd film are the only ones worth watching.

Jurassic Park 1 and Jurassic World 1 are great, others not so much

Wont bother to watch this.

The first one had a really unique premise and an underlying moral dilema that made it a gripping movie to watch. It didn't just rely on

All the recents have just been special effects and poor storylines.

Will still be probably be enjoyable but not enough to fork out at the cinema, I'm happy to wait a few months until its on TV.

Hollywood is running out of ideas. Every second film is a cheap remake designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia for the original.

TV shows are the place for genuine drama now.

Best two scenes in the Jurassic Park franchise for me were these two -

I loved the dinosaur chase scenes in Malta, the ice ones but unfortunately all others were let down.

A review based on the fact the poster has not seen the movie. (Won’t bother to watch this - opening gambit).

Sums up what is wrong with this world. MSM narrative galore.

I’m going to watch the latest JP, in 4DX, and make my own mind up, instead of paying heed to the blind liberals who have yet to watch this movie!

Saw it in cinema recently and I really wanted to enjoy it but it was terrible. I felt it was too long and lacked the suspense of the first.

Just watched it - tbh - I love escapism! so anything that doesnt exist in this world which I can see in the cinema is fine by me.

Entertaining is the way to describe this.

Nice one bro!

An opinion from someone who has watched the movie.

Will watch in 4DX and report back.

Jurassic World film thread… That is the topic…

Looks like some one sided deletion of posters here while sadly daft rants about liberals seem to be ok.

If these posts are allowed to stand then, surely the counter point about the fact that hollywood is the biggest promoter of liberalism should be allowed to stand too.

Otherwise every thread will just be a ranting point for crazies.

I watched it with my wife and kids last week and the kids loved it. Me and the mrs were extremely disappointed. We loved the first Jurassic World but the 2nd and this one just did not have the excitement or suspense.

I have realised that all the movies that were based on the islands were the ones we enjoyed. As soon as they leave the islands it isn’t the same fun.

Nice one mate, great insight.

Thank you!

Bro

I usually do not reply to such posts in open threads but I will make an exception.

My request is that if you wish to discuss this further, you create a thread in MRR Forum and not reply to this post.

==

The object of this thread is to discuss this particular movie. Lets leave it at that.

Other issues should be discussed in relevant threads.

Its because Streaming platforms pay better and the writers/creaters get to tell their stories as they want without rushing it more like a Novel than short story.

The creativity of Hollywood is focused on TV-Streaming right now.

I would highly recommend Everything Everywhere All at Once , till now it’s the best movie of the year(IMHO).
