Its like how people join subcontinent teams together. NZ and Australia have close cultural links.

I guess Moeen Ali taught him how to bowl with long sleeves.![]()
For that, he has to join Warwickshire.
Convict how many times have you referred to NZ being just another state of Aus (it isn't), I recall you quoting some document earlier. At least try to be consistent.
There's a clear link between the countries, as much as we'd both like to dismiss it.
Link between the two countries is you lot mooching off us.
lol comparing the averages of a number 3 batsmen and a 5/6. No Smith will definitely not finish with an average of 50+ you don't have to be a genius or fortune teller to know that.
You need to remember he's a lower batsmen while Williamson bats at 3.
If Smith batted at three do you really think he'd be averaging 40+?
My best guess is he'd be a high 20's or low 30's at number 3.
Look you need to relax yourself- I am simply stating my opinion. I'm not saying Williamson is a bad batsman, I'm just saying Steve is better due to having better feats. In the batting position sense, they can't be compared since they bat in two different positions however I have seen both play and I'll reserve my judgement that Steve is a special batsman.
138* in Ashes- Australia were battered by England and Steve came through with Shane Watson and helped drawWhat feats are these you keep going on about? Big difference between having to set the platform yourself than getting to build off what the other batsmen have already set for you. To put things into perspective, Ross Taylor made his test debut at a similar age to what Kane is now and Kane already has 7 centuries.
Not sure why we are even comparing them. Steve Smith is a year and a bit older.
as much as you and that Aman guy don't wanna hear this, even David Warner has better feats- average of almost 47 @73 strike rate is no joke- its actually superior to all of Pakistans ODI batsmen as well barring Fawad Alam who hasn't played enoughNot sure why we are even comparing them. Steve Smith is a year and a bit older.
For that, he has to join Warwickshire.
Warwickshire, Yorkshire
By Australian terms they're practically the same city
We only know one Shire.
Maybe I'm thinking of a completely different medium, my precioussssss.May be you were thinking of Moin Ali - the fast bowler
He's better then Kohli cuz he can play in all conditions.
On par to Shehzad And UAkmal in talent![]()
Tbh, I think we have the better team, Aus are favorites because they've shown in the past that they can handle pressure. But who knows, we could always flunk out and miss out on the semis altogether. It just takes one bad day to end your campaign. The guy is in super touch atm. Almost unrecognisable. NZ looking very good heading into the WC. Second fave after Oz to take it out imo.
Please don't say such things, these things always end up backfiringOn track to become an ATG. One of my favorite players these days. If the Blackcaps keep their performances up, they could reach glory next year.
please comment when you actually have any idea about cricket.Better than the over-rated AB De Villiers

out of all the new upcoming NZ talents, Kane and Boult seem to be the special onesonting
Can't class KW or Boult as great or ATG material till they come up with a marquee performance against SA or Aus.
I know Kane has scored a century against SA but that was in NZ, he needs to score one against a top side in difficult conditions to really stake a claim of an elite cricketer.
I did, he's better than a rich mans Shafiq.
Yet you got upset when I called him a rich man's Shafiq.![]()
you have my sincere apologiesPlease comment when you stop stating the obvious.![]()
kanes ODI 145* was pretty good. It helped them win, especially considering he scored more than half the runs. but then again, Steyn wasn't playing and SA choked badly lol. Can't class KW or Boult as great or ATG material till they come up with a marquee performance against SA or Aus.

It was good, but the SA ODI attack isn't the same as the Test attack.you have my sincere apologies

Not sure if he's elite(nor with Boult) but both are special. They can develop into Great players like Gillespie or Flower by the looks of it, at least.
It's ODI's mate, any hack can make it there, everything is pretty much in the batsmen's favor there as well.meh
one thing amazing about his knock was that he hit only 8 fours and 5 sixes which is 62 off 13
the next 39 he hit in 36 balls. That is absolutely flawless. This pretty much means he didn't even play a single dot ball.

yes, yes they are. Boult has good test feats however Kanes aren't magnificent. I've actually talked about how they are not amazing and how many other young upcoming batsmen like Pujara or Smith have better feats. It's ODI's mate, any hack can make it there, everything is pretty much in the batsmen's favor there as well.
Test cricket is where the men are separated from the boys.
funny since he actually played 7 dots
Unbelievable indeed.![]()
It's promising that's he's improving though, he averages 60+ in the last 2 years or so. The reason Pujara and Smith are so far ahead is because they get 8 or more innings to get themselves accustomed to conditions.yes, yes they are. DeVilliers is currently the finest batsman in international cricket bar none and probably the only one in the world who is certain to eventually achieve ATG status. Ridiculous to call him overrated.Better than the over-rated AB De Villiers
Experience mate, the good players learn from their failures and work hard to eradicate them.true they get to play a lot more.
however they also get more time to be exposed and/or fail if they have any weaknesses...example being Pujara.
yes. However what am saying is that there may be a weakness kane may have which won't be exposed easily- only if he plays in 4/5 match series' where decent+ opposing bowlers, i.e. Anderson will have the time to find some sort of weakness like he did with the Kohlmeister. I know Pujara will overcome his weaknesses as he seems a special batsman.Experience mate, the good players learn from their failures and work hard to eradicate them.
Better than the over-rated AB De Villiers
Aaron Finch is ahead, IMO.
Thank goodness you didn't say Anton Devcich bhaiAaron Finch is ahead, IMO.
Thank goodness you didn't say Anton Devcich bhai![]()
Who's that?
A part time cricketer turned into Sobers by your lot.![]()
Now you know. You folks trolling us by putting him in the WC squad.![]()
It's not even close.Aaron Finch is ahead, IMO.
Funny how Kohli is labeled a FTB based on one series failure , but Williamson is a future ATG despite averaging in mid 30s away from home.
Away against top 7

Would like to see him perform against Australia and SA before rating him..
Williamson struggled the first few years of his test career. Thats not exactly a secret.
The past 18 months he has been scoring everywhere.
By everywhere , you mean West Indies ?
