Naseem would get smashed if he was asked to bowl at the death against top teams. He's just good for the new ball. Amir has the bowling intelligence and has a proven track record in ICC tournaments. It's a no brainer.

He bowled very well at death in worldcup as well as Asia Cup. Very good with the slower balls lately.

The only place up for debate in white ball formats is Haris Rauf in odis only imo.
 
Guys like Guptill and Rohit sometimes start slowly but they have that 6th gear to make up for it. Guys like Babar and Rizwan don't have that so they have to play with more urgency from the outset.
 
The only player who deserves a recall is Imad. He has been wonderful so far with bat and bowl.

You did watch the world cup right? Naseem is a pretty smart bowler and really good with cutters and slower balls.

He can be on the squad but it will be as Nawaz's back up. His bowling, while useful in T20's is limited to him being effective with the new ball and on the Pakistan team, he is not getting the new ball over Shaheen & Naseem.
 
What a match for Sharjeel. Out for duck and dropped a dolly on Guptill that allowed Quetta to remain in the game.
 
Never forget that there are people who want Sharjeel over Rizwan in the Pakistan team. Never forget.

The main thing for me was Sarf's brilliant catch. Not sure if the ball itself was that good.
 
One very vocal person in particular. Makes you really question their judgement in general. If a person cannot get fit in 3 years how can you expect them to focus on their cricket? No aspiring international level athlete should be obese- their is simply no excuse

Qasim will be very useful if given consistent opportunities, fairly good in all department, and good attitude.

There is a thing called consistency as well.

I would always pick who can score consistently 7 games out of 10 than someone who"ll score 1 century in 10 and flop in the other 9.
 
Stupid shot selections from Sharjeel and Haider Ali.

They're not ready for international cricket. Far from it in fact.
 
Crowd has definitely picked up later in the game. They should come out in full force from ball one
 
Sarfraz captaincy is a value, and he can win most matches with sometging appreciable to defend.

Think we need to take advantage of good form with some of these batters.
 
Some teams haven’t even played 2 games but sharjeel has already got 2 ducks. What an achievement.
 
Some good proactive captaincy by Sarfraz . Imad and babar can learn something

I guess it wasn't Babar fault that Karachi was bad. They are just a trash team with trash selections and horrific at developing players.
 
Fixer and shady 11 getting exposed for the pathetic side they are. The least-liked team in the tournament by far.

What do you guys smoke smh Naseem has been bowling death overs throughout the World Cup and before and after is yet to be smashed get a life like your fixer amir and smell the coffee.

Guptill played a world class knock. This is not an easy wicket to bat on, the ball is not coming on to the bat, the wicket is two paced.
 
Damn Karachi might need to replace Babar as Captain and batsmen after this season... oh wait

I've seen enough of Naseem Shah to know he would get smashed against good batsmen in the back end of an innings.

Pakistan will not have any chance of winning an ICC tournament if we're relying on him to deliver at the death. He's great with the new ball and he knows how to utilise conditions which are conducive for pace bowling but he'll get destroyed by top teams especially on good batting wickets.

Amir won Pakistan the 2009 WT20 and 2017 CT. I'll wait and see what Naseem does for Pakistan.

Just bowl short to Imad and more often than not he will get out. He was badly exposed by English team in 2019 ODI series against short deliveries.

Did you watch the 2009 WT20 semi final?

Amir's death bowling was also very good in the 2019 WC particularly against England when he got Jos Buttler out. Without that wicket we would have lost the game.

Did you see when he bowled 2 massive no balls and got sawdust to pretend he lost his footing. Absolutely vital that was in proving his integrity

The most recent example would be that T20 final against England. Shaheen and Haris went for less than run a ball in that game.

Naseem Shah's economy rate was 7.50 so relative to them and England's run rate he was expensive.
 
Guptill's innings today is by far the best hundred in PSL history
 
Wade has been a horror signing for KK so far. 15 off just 19 balls.
 
This is an amazing win with extreme amounts of dew youngsters coming to the party and doing extremely well under pressure plus pretty much throwing the toxic Karachi kings pretty much out of the tournament and keeping them winless well done sarfaraz and co.
 
Imad has proved that he is nothing but a loudmouth who made all the noise before the tournament started, only to get exposed as the worst captain Pakistan could ever get.

He faked his image and made himself look like a mentality monster as if he was the heir to Imran Khan's throne.

No doubt why his supporters, who also happen to be the fans of the fixing duo have suddenly gone quiet. All that moaning about Babar's captaincy for nothing.
