Kashmir attack kills 40 paramilitaries

It’s unfortunate to see the loss of life in this incident. Hope this cycle of violence ends in Kashmir in accordance with the wishes of Kashmiris.

One thing that unites all Pakistanis is when cheap threats start coming from India and its people. Then even the most corrupt of politicians only see Pakistan.

It’s unfortunate to see the loss of life in this incident. Hope this cycle of violence ends in Kashmir in accordance with the wishes of Kashmiris.

It won’t stop until the people of Kashmir are heard.

India can’t afford to hear people of Kashmir as it goes against India.

The only and only solution is to hear Kashmiri and have talks with all involved parties without any pre-conditions.

India is not a part of India say the Kashmiris. It is a disputed area according to the UN as well, end of the matter. Indian people can keep on crying about Kashmir being a part of India but we are not listening. When two people/parties or more claim one thing or area then it becomes a disputed thing. Pakistani stance on the matter is very clear and always will be. It is Indian soldiers who are crying and dying here not us, remember that.

Good analysis by an honest Sikh man. The question is always who benefits from such blasts. With the Ram Mandir situation in India and the elections coming up Modi and Hindu fundo's do.

How did Jaish-e-Mohammad claim? I mean through email or video message. Or it's just Indian media whining as usual.

But he is neither Muslim nor Pakistani! Nonetheless he does raise points that India has no answers to. Indian military inflicts all kinds of atrocities on Kashmiris like blinding and shooting them that are well documented and on video. They have thousands of troops torturing them then tell the world it's an internal matter. When those people retaliate killing your terrorist soldiers India blames Pakistan for it! I am no Khalistan or Sikh fan by the way, couldn't care less about them.

Praveen Swami, formerly of the Indian Express had written an exclusive several months ago about how Jaish-e-Mohammed was flourishing and expanding in Imran Khan's Pakistan. Some things will never change.

https://www.firstpost.com/world/exc...-blossom-in-imran-khans-pakistan-4835701.html

It is hard to believe Jaish could carry out such a massive attack on its own. It has never happened in Kashmir. Even the victims of uri attack died because their tents accidently caught fire during the attack, not because of some great guerilla tactics by militants. I am not claiming anything here but its just hard to believe that they are capable of something like this.

By the way extremely shameful behaviour by Indians in India where they have attacked Kashmiri students in hostels, vandalised their rooms and stolen their stuff, and injured a lot of them. This kind of hooliganism is what isolates Kashmir.

Watched some Pakistan media. They said Indian government planned killing of their 44 soldiers. I mean seriously .

They need to understand India is not Pakistan. Damn no way not even any insane politician govt would ever dare to even think about this.
There is 24/7 media in India with uncountable sources. And also strong political oppositions plus army is also not puppet to let this happen.
If this has been planned by govt, then that govt can never ever be elected in India. Nobody can even think this.

Those behind the terrorist attack in Pulwama will have to pay a "heavy price", Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, condemning Thursday's attack on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel that claimed over 40 lives. "The terrorists...they have made a big mistake. You will have to pay a very heavy price...I assure everyone that the forces behind the attack...we will bring them to justice," PM Modi said in an address in Delhi after chairing a top level security meeting with senior ministers.

Union Minister Arun Jaitley said after the meeting that the government will initiate all possible diplomatic steps to ensure Pakistan's "complete isolation" and had withdrawn the Most Favoured Nation status to the country.

The devastating attack on the convoy of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Home Minister Rajnath Singh left for Srinagar after attending a meeting on Cabinet Committee on Security at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence. Along with Mr Singh, the meeting, chaired by PM Modi, was attended by Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.

A 12-member team of the National Investigation Agency or NIA will reach Pulwama today to assist the Jammu and Kashmir Police in forensic evaluation of the spot.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be visiting Srinagar to take stock of the situation and hold review meetings with senior security and police officials to make ground level assessment and review further operational actions.

A suicide bomber had rammed a SUV carrying 350 kg of explosives into a bus carrying the CRPF troopers in the deadliest attack in decades on security forces in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) claimed responsibility for the attack.

NEW DELHI/SRINAGAR: A day after over 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed in the deadliest terror attack on security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and top ministers held a security review meeting. PM Modi said those behind the terror attack would pay a "very heavy price" and had made a "huge mistake". Union Minister Arun Jaitley said the government has decided to take all possible diplomatic steps to ensure Pakistan's isolation and has withdrawn Most Favoured Nation status to the country. Yesterday, New Delhi had urged the international community to back the naming of Jaish-e-Mohammed leader Masood Azhar as a "UN designated terrorist"; the Pakistan-based terror outfit has claimed the attack. The US has also asked Pakistan to "immediately end support and safe haven to all terrorist groups"

At least 44 Indian paramilitary soldiers were killed on Thursday in occupied Kashmir in the deadliest attack on security forces since 2002, police said.

The attack, surpassing one in 2016 when 19 soldiers died, saw explosives packed inside a van rip through buses in a convoy of 78 vehicles carrying some 2,500 members of the paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

Two blue buses carrying around 35 people each bore the brunt of the explosion around 20 kilometres from the main city of Srinagar on the main highway towards Jammu.

Some of the bodies were so badly blown up that officials feel it may take some time to identity them, PTI reported. The convoy was bringing the troopers back from leave to rejoin active service.

It was unclear whether the van containing the explosives was driven into the convoy or whether it was detonated when the buses were adjacent.

“It was a powerful explosion. The explosive was car-borne,” CRPF spokesman Sanjay Kumar told AFP.

In-Depth: The pursuit of Kashmir

Photos showed the blackened, mangled remains of at least one vehicle littered across the highway.

Unconfirmed photos showed the charred remains of at least one vehicle littered across the highway as black smoke billowed upwards.

Reports said that there were 350 kilos of explosives used.

Meanwhile, The Hindu reported the toll as 40 soldiers killed and four injured.

The blast took place in the Lethpora area of south Kashmir's Pulwama on Thursday afternoon and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed responsibility, saying it was a suicide attack, according to the publication.

"A convoy in which the soldiers were travelling was attacked by a JeM suicide bomber, who rammed his explosives-laden vehicle into one of the convoy’s buses," reported The Hindu.

According to The Hindu, he was identified as Adil Ahmad Dar alias ‘Waqas Commando’, a resident of Pulwama’s Kakapora.

Officials told NDTV that an unusually high number of personnel were on the move at the same time because the Srinagar-Jammu highway had been shut for the past two days because of bad weather.

The convoy reportedly left Jammu at about 3.30am on Thursday morning. The alleged suicide attacker, driving toward the convoy from the opposite direction, rammed a bus carrying the personnel.

Bullet marks on the bus indicated that more men might have been hiding and might have fired at the convoy, NDTV said.

“It’s a terror incident; we are looking into what caused it. We suspect it was a vehicle-bound attack,” a top CRPF officer told reporters.

Asked how the attackers could carry out the attack on such a heavily-guarded highway, the CRPF said: “It is a matter of investigation.”

After the attack, hundreds of government forces cordoned around 15 villages in the district the bomber came from and started searching house-to-house, a police officer and witnesses said.

Calling the attack “despicable and dastardly”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said: “The sacrifices of our brave security personnel shall not go in vain.”

He tweeted: “The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of the brave martyrs. May the injured recover quickly.”

Pakistan expresses concern

Pakistan termed the attack a matter of grave concern, adds APP.

The Foreign Office spokesperson in a statement issued in Islamabad strongly rejected any insinuation that sought to link the attack to Pakistan without investigations.

“We have always condemned acts of violence anywhere in the world,” the FO spokesperson said.

“We strongly reject any insinuation by elements in the Indian media and government that seek to link the attack to Pakistan without investigations,” the spokesperson remarked.

India has an estimated 500,000 soldiers in Kashmir, which has been divided between India and Pakistan and riven by unrest since the end of British rule in 1947.

Kashmiris have been fighting for an independent Kashmir, or a merger with Pakistan, since 1989.

New Delhi accuses Pakistan of fuelling the uprising that has left tens of thousands of civilians dead. Islamabad denies the charge, saying it only provides diplomatic support to Kashmiris' right to self-determination.

Four more CRPF men succumb, Lethpora attack toll mounts to 49

The attack took place along highway when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden car into a CRPF convoy in Lethpora area at around 3:15 p.m. yesterday.

Srinagar | Posted : Feb 15 2019 11:46AM | Updated: Feb 15 2019 12:00PM

Four more seriously wounded paramilitary men succumbed to their injuries at army's 92 base hospital Badamibagh Srinagar, taking the death toll of paramilitary troopers to 49 so far in the car-bomb attack at Lethpora area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district along Srinagar-Jammu on Thursday.

The attack took place along highway when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden car into a CRPF convoy in Lethpora area at around 3:15 p.m. yesterday.

An official of the CRPF confirmed to news agency GNS that four more critically wounded soldiers succumbed to injuries in the army hospital today morning. He said that the death toll of CRPF men has mounted to 49.

"While a total of 44 CRPF men belonging to different battalions were travelling in one vehicle, 39 others were travelling in another one," the CRPF official said. He said that the CRPF men belonged to 92, 17, 54, 82, 61, 21, 98, 118, 76, 45, 3 and 176 battalions. He said while none from the bus carrying 44 CRPF men survived, five of the injured among those travelling in another bus succumbed to injuries, one of them yesterday.

The other injured are being treated in different hospitals. Sources said that the intensity of the blast was such that its sound was heard around 10 kilometers away.

Sources said bodies of 46 CRPF men are being sent to their native villages while those of three personnel were still missing. A wreath-laying ceremony is being held at Humhama here and Home Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to attend it.

JeM militant outfit had claimed the responsibility for the attack and identified the bomber as Adil Ahmad Dar alias Waqas Commando and he is also believed to be killed even though there was no official confirmation in this regard so far.

Following the blast, the traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu highway came to standstill and when the reports last came in, the road was still closed. A police official also confirmed the closure of road. He, however, said that the traffic was diverted through Galander.

Official sources said that the traffic will remain suspended on the Lethpora highway for some time as the teams from National Investigation Agency (NIA) and National Security Guard (NSG) are arriving today to assist the Jammu and Kashmir police in forensic evaluation of the scene of the attack.

Sources also said that the forces along with the additional reinforcements are still conducting searches around the attack site to find the bodies of three paramilitary men which are yet to be recovered.

A police officer had said forensic experts of have taken samples even as investigations have been set into motion. The officer also confirmed that yesterday’s attack was the deadliest in the 30 years of insurgency. “Even though there were major attacks in the past also like Badamibagh and assembly but this is the first attack in which there have been such a number of causalities,” the officer had said.

Regarding the vehicle, the officer said that it seems to be a Scorpio or jeep. "Investigations are underway in this regard," the officer had said.

IGP Kashmir SP Pani had said that it was a gruesome attack. “The investigations have been taken up. We have started gathering the sequences how this happened and the people behind it will be brought before the law,” the IGP said, adding, "We are ascertaining chain of circumstances in this incident."

Arnab Goswami is absolutely destroying Pak panelists on his show...haha.

And of course Arnab Goswami and the Pak panelists represent the sum total of all the intellect that both nations have to offer.

India is partly responsible for 60000 deaths in Pakistan due to terrorism over the last decade. So Indians can take their rona dhona elsewhere. You reap what you sow.

Arnab Goswami is absolutely destroying Pak panelists on his show...haha.

The only thing he does, bark from the comfort of his studio. Should be first man at the border with Gambhir the way these two chickens are barking.

Arnab Goswami is absolutely destroying Pak panelists on his show...haha.

Don't behave like a child. Arnab can destroy as may Pakistani panelists on his show, it will not bring back those 40 jawans, it will just bring short term smiles on the faces of children like you, who thinks world revolves around Arnub and Sudhir.
Questions should be asked. Who is responsible for this?
Will our PM take responsibility just like he took all the credit for surgical strike ?
What were our intelligence agencies doing ?
Why the situation in Kashmir is getting worse day by day ?
Godi media will never ask such questions, all they will do is to bash some unknown Pakistani panelists.

RIP to the jawans, I hope the guilty are brought to justice.

Lot of point scoring going on in this thread over the death of innocent people, just makes you realise how deep rooted the hatred is between the two nations..

Few things I had like to point out:

Indian government know that we have a hostile neighbour, all I see politicians and news channels do is blame Pakistan.. We have been doing this since last 50 years. What is the government doing for safety of its citizens and the jawans? This is not the first attack which has happened.. Donee actually learn anything from the attacks and take preventive measures or do we just blame pakistan?

At the end of the day everyone knows cross border terrorism is a thing so why doesn't the government take concrete steps to ensure safety and make sure such attacks don't happen?

Blaming Pakistan is a good way to hide their own short comings. For a start can we get full CCTV monitoring of the entire valley? After the parliament attack the security of parliament has been ensured to never be able to be breached why can't we ensure such security in valley for the jawans?

Death of innocents is a sin and should be condemned wherever it happens.. Mindset like yours is disgusting and is the reason why their is so much hatred and terrorism into he world. Unless you change your mindset a d unequivocally condemn every innocent lives lost the problems of title for tar revenge won't ever stop..

Honestly I feel this could be the start of something terrible in sub continent. The general atmosphere in India is to take revenge, no matter what the cost. Kashmiri's should be ready to face the music of blunt force. There should be no talks, whatsoever, don't call Pakistani high commissioner and lodge protest, just attack.

Following the Pulwama terror attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi says Pakistan will get a “befitting response”
India on Friday announced that it had decided to withdraw the Most-Favoured Nation (MFN) status granted to Pakistan and would also take all possible steps to isolate the country at the international level after Thursday’s car bomb attack in which at least 37 CRPF men were killed in the Kashmir Valley.

Briefing the press after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security, Union Minister Arun Jaitley said outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence that the Ministry of External Affairs would announce the diplomatic steps to be taken against Pakistan. A notification would be issued by the Commerce Ministry withdrawing MFN status.

Mr. Jaitley also announced that the Government would call for an all-party meeting after the Home Minister Rajnath Singh returned from a visit to the Kashmir Valley on Saturday.

Perpetrators will be punished: Modi
Speaking at a public function just after Mr. Jaitley’s briefing, Mr. Modi assured people that the perpetrators of the terror strike would be punished. He said it was important that the country spoke in one voice after the terror strike.

India would give a befitting response to the terror attack, Mr. Modi said, calling on the international community to stand together to defeat terrorism.

The high-profile CCS meet on Friday morning was chaired by the Prime Minister. Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj and Nirmala Sitharaman were also present at the meeting.

Top security officials are learnt to have made a presentation on the incident and the overall security situation in the State.

Is it just me or does all this seem a little staged ? Elections are around the corner in India, Modi needs an added advantage. I wouldn't be surprised if all this was fake and nothing actually happened, Modi may even be working with Imran Khan on this, this could be a hoax for their political agenda.. If it actually happened, then my heard bleeds for our brave soldiers. However I am not so sure this is real... Both Indians and Pakistanis are stupid and gullable so something like this is perfect when elections are around the corner, Modi may have promised Imran similar favours at a time of his need...

IK would never stoop to this level.

Anyhow, its sad that these young men have died as many probably joined the army to help their families financially. Its sad that both sides on this forum are going crazy! However, I would like to say that over the years; the Kashmiris got it worse so my Indian friends need to understand that their country needs to stop occupation of Kashmir as clearly they are unwanted.

Actually if anything, this attack means disadvantage Modi. People are expecting immidiate action from government else BJP vote will go down. Already left vultures like Sagarika Ghose, Rana Ayyub, Barkha Dutt etc. taking political mileage on it. You should just read their twitter posts....some of the tweets are shameful to say the least.

I was watching news yesterday and there are few murmurs that Congress staged this attack before elections. Though I dont believe it but if we think strongly, from politics perspective only opposition is in front foot due to this attack. I have always said it and I still maintain, Pakistan is not the biggest enemy of the nation. They are present in India itself and we all know who are they.

I have family in Jammu&Kashmir. In the Srinagar area. They confirm that this DID happen and I’ve also been sent some horrific pictures.

In regards to the blast, very sad that mothers and fathers etc will be informed about losing their loved ones.

Wider picture - I have no sympathy for the incident and neither am I surprised. When you occupy a country, take away their basic human rights - you WILL face backlash, you will lose bodies and this is exactly what happened.

I’m just sad that this will only get worse.

India has to find a way to deradicalize the kashmir valley. They have failed for last 71 years.

Blaming Pakistan is not the only solution.

Ignore him. He needs to have more humanity. I don't support the Indian army in Kashmir but majority of these soldiers have nothing against anybody.

Shouldn’t be illegally occupying a disputed territory then. Will have repercussions. They are not civilians on holiday

I do feel for the soldiers and their families. May they rest in peace. However, I also sympathise with those who have to resort to such tactics due to continuous oppression and killings of their youths at the hands of the Indian Army.

So many lives lost over a piece of land.

Pakistan FO has categorically denied involvement. I would think it would be a good idea for India to demand some answers with regard to the location of this group which claimed responsibility and Pakistan's help in locating those involved, if indeed they are located in Pakistan. Obviously proof would be required, but surely the response should be to seek information before making taking unilateral action.

Best would be conventional military war but considering Pak has lost all wars against India since independence, pretty sure they would not want it. They are fully aware they cant beat India in conventional wars...hence take the route of terrorism by arming young kashmiris. Its a known secret to one and all.

And no....no cricket with Pakistan.

Could the fact that your population is nearly six times that of Pakistan?

How about you put your 1000 men against our 1000 men and then see who wins.

Did you forget that CM of Gujrat authorised massacre of Indian citizens in 2002?

Death of innocents is a sin and should be condemned wherever it happens.. Mindset like yours is disgusting and is the reason why their is so much hatred and terrorism into he world. Unless you change your mindset a d unequivocally condemn every innocent lives lost the problems of title for tar revenge won't ever stop..

Many Indian posters were blaming it on Pakistan and I did not liked it at all. Indians should first ask their own security agencies who could not prevent this incident, we do that every time here in Pakistan.
And also even if this attack is conducted by Pakistan, its fair game. I have seen many dead bodies in bazars and mosques, atleast the attackers did not stooped to that level.

Indian posters should ask themselves how can there be a massive intelligence failing for such an attack ?

I’m not a conspiracy theorist so I’m not subscribing it was staged but its definitely possible this attack got some “inside Indian help” weather it was from the local security or intelligence services.

Something doesn’t add up but we will probably never know.

India has to find a way to deradicalize the kashmir valley. They have failed for last 71 years.

Blaming Pakistan is not the only solution.

Bang on target.

Yes it is true Pakistan sponsored agencies have a huge hand in doing so but it is India which has alienated Muslims enough for them to be radiclzed so easily by these agencies.

Things have gone worse under BJP who are hardcore Hindu extremist.

If BJO remains in power for another 5 years the situations in Kashmir will become worse for Indian forces.

Appreciate this response but the issue is not alienation. The Kashmiris just do not consider themselves to be Indian. Best solution for all parties involved is to let the people of Kashmir decide their future.

Relax guys Indians will do nothing!

Indian army despite their large numbers DOES NOT dominate Pak at the LOC let alone anywhere else..

I don't think they'd be stupid enough to initiate a war against Pak.. cause India might hammer Pakistan bad but will get hurt deep in the process ...

Orchestrated by Modi and his bhakts to get sympathy before the elections. Where is this condemnation when innocent Kashmiri civilians are killed on a daily basis by these same jawans

So apparently 350 kg of explosives were used..... even if a pigeon flies across the LOC is detected here large amount of explosives supposedly crossed the border and no one found out :))

there's lot of peoples gets killed by suicide bombers and terrorist attackers.. is that too due to 'you reap what you sow' thing? : facepalm:.. really it look like you enjoyed this attack..

I didn't enjoy it. My first post on this thread was poor soldiers suffering for wars started by politicians.

However, where is your sympathy when these same soldiers murder and rape Kashmiris.

First of all my condolences to the family of soldiers who died in the attack but the thing we need to understand here is in 2018 you killed 400 Kashmiris and your army and political leaders were so proud of that even bjp started a comparison with congress that you killed these many Kashmiri and we killed that many. What do you think itz only you people who are pained with the killing and we don't? Or is it that only your lives matter and our lives have no value? Yesterday in the attack 49 soldiers were killed and obviously you have felt the pain now compare it with the 400 your army killed in 2018 what would we have gone through? Instead of blaming everything on Pakistan India should realize why they have failed to Kashmiris? Why people of kashmir have no fear in dying? Why they don't value their lives? Why such extreme steps are taken by the youngsters? Why Doctors, Engineers, Professors scholars are taking the extreme steps? If such questions are not answered lives will be lost from both sides that of kashmir and India. Media can do blah blah, Vips will give condolences, politicians will give condemnations and threaten Kashmiris but only mother knows where it hurts when she loses her son. Sooner than later the sanity prevails better will be for everyone and that must prevail to save lives from both sides.

«But, but those kashmiris are not innocent people, they are all terrorists»

Sad day for the soldiers and their families, BJP has failed and will get away with their jingoism , remarkable how Congress used to get the blame for attacks whereas BJP would get away blaming others for it and asking for 'United India'.
Irrespective, social media public and news anchors keep their jingoistic attitude to themselves, they aren't going to send their children to Army, so let the Army and Central agencies decide how they are going to act on it and demand what they need from Indian Gov.

This is horribly embarrassing for India. A huge convoy with multi layered security obliterated.

Lots of talk but realistically India cannot do anything.

The bomber was Indian(Kashmiri). This is all cover up for the failure. Its easy to blame Pakistan

India need to look at themselves internally and what they have done in Kashmir in the past 71 years.

Youth of Kashmir hates Indian establishment, no matter what the bhakth of India say, and you see quite bhakth claiming, this is may fav one,
Indian Muslims are doing okay, do not worry about them
, you see couple of them keep repeating the same.

India can't stop militarization of Kashmir with a bullet, it hasn't worked in India's favor and, it will never work unless, Indian occupying army commit genocide.

The person who was involved in killing of the young soldiers was from Kashmir.

I hope sane Indian (not Bhakth) can be louder than radicalized extremists hindu to make rest of the India understand.

You will never be able to isolate Pakistan, you have failed, so stop this childish retaliation, it looks good in media, it give Bhakth of India false sense of being strong, it has achieved absolutely nothing.

You can't blame Pakistan, India needs to look internally for the rise of militarization in Kashmir.

And, the only solution to this conflict is talk.

Occupied Kashmir attacker radicalised after beating by Indian troops, parents say

SRINAGAR: A suicide bomber who killed 44 paramilitary policemen in Indian-occupied Kashmir joined a militant group after having been beaten by troops three years ago, his parents told Reuters on Friday.

Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has reportedly claimed responsibility for Thursday’s car bomb attack on a security convoy, the worst in decades of the held territory.

It comes months before a key Indian general election.

Adil Ahmad Dar, 20, from the village of Lethipora in occupied Kashmir, rammed a car full of explosives into the convoy.

“We are in pain in the same way the families of the soldiers are,” said farmer Ghulam Hassan Dar, adding that his son had been radicalised after police stopped him and his friends on the way home from school in 2016.

International media’s coverage of Pulwama attack in occupied Kashmir

“They were stopped by the troops and beaten up and harassed,” Dar said, adding that the students were accused of stone-pelting. “Since then, he wanted to join the militants.”

His mother, Fahmeeda, corroborated her husband’s account. “He was beaten by Indian troops a few years back when he was returning from school,” she said. “This led to anger in him against Indian troops.”

Both the parents said they were unaware of their son’s plan to attack the convoy. Dar did not return home from his work as a labourer on March 19 last year, Fahmeeda added.

“We searched for him for three months,” she said. “Finally we gave up efforts to bring him back home.”

Dar said he blamed politicians for his son’s death.

“They should have resolved the issue through dialogue,” he said, referring to the Kashmir conflict. “It is they who are responsible for driving these youth into militancy. The sons of the common man die here, whether they are Indian troops or our sons.”

One day, he was returning from his school and men from the STF stopped him and made him rub his nose on ground,” his father said. The Jammu and Kashmir police’s counterinsurgency unit was initially called the Special Task Force. Though its name has since been changed to Special Operations Group, in local parlance, it is still “STF”. The men forced the boy to make a circle around their jeep with his nose, his father said: “He kept mentioning this incident again and again.”

Blaming Pakistan is not the solution. Indian Army must end the brutality, otherwise this will create more suicide bombers in Jammu and Kashmir.

I hear Kashmir was quite peaceful during last Congress rule. Madplayer Can you confirm it?

Yes ,but the issue here is of weapons as well, terrorists aren't capable to buy that many Weapons or explosives, imagine Turkey being next to China and supplying weapons for terrorists attacks, even China would have issues.

Good analysis by an honest Sikh man. The question is always who benefits from such blasts. With the Ram Mandir situation in India and the elections coming up Modi and Hindu fundo's do.

Exactly, this is a bit too convenient, whenever there are elections in India then an attack takes place in their country and the politicians use it to their advantage, same is goign to happen at the next elections.......wake up people.

Civilians were killed during that time too. But under BJP its more than just the killings. They have antagonized even the most harmless people.

This kind of hooliganism is what isolates Kashmir.

where?

Also any move from India will be taken as act of war.... Just to remind posters on here Pakistan just last week retested Nasr, a short range nuclear capable missile.

I have been reading your posts from last 2 days and just wondering if you are a stable person or brain washed radicalised person? Any non-bias can clearly see the weird satisfaction and creepy happiness you are showing through your comments on killings...I don't want to even go into who is getting killed, but for a decent normal human being to justify and celebrate or chest thumping on anyone's killing is the lowest level of human standard and very shameful act.

You should be really shamed of yourself. Show your comments to the person you trust without identifying yourself, I bet my last dollar that he or she will be disgust by the writings you have done for last 2 days. In fact, someone would even suspect that you are in some way connected with some terrorist organization.

Its all flashy and cool to brag about missiles and nuclear until you drag yourself to the boarder. Don't shot fires at the expense of soldiers be in Pakistanis or Indians.

I am just shocked that non of the members here are calling you out on your thinking.

Shame...to all Pakistanis and Indians who are blaming each other and taking shot at each other for the killings of others.

Poor soldiers losing their lives for wars started by politicians.

I have only been responding to your compatriots who are using this opportunity to take pot shots at Pakistan.

Why are you attacking him for? He simply said if India is ready for a misadventure, bring it on.

It might be due to Indian posters justifying the killing of Kashmiri protestors on here, the vast majority of them have no hesitation in backing military execution of those who seek Kashmiri independence. Sadly everyone wants to believe their side is in the right, and if that involves killing they will justify it no problem.

Yes and this applies to both sides who are doing chest thumping...also, saying one sympathy liner is not a license to follow with many comment on justification of killings. Besides you are blaming politicians and army and everything else...so you believe in blood for blood? are you giving free pass to people who taking this route to prove their point? Don't go on about others, you are only accountable for your self and your actions...everyone has to look down and ask themselves that are they doing this dancing only because they have nothing on line other than show their love for country by becoming keyboard warriors.

Both side people on this board has to understand that you are going to sleep tonight without loosing anything but not those who are suffering including army people of both countries.

Blood to blood can never be an answer in today's age.

Very sad but true, and all the members here are just talking hero with nothing to loose other than their fake pride. Fake pride of loosing argument with some other fake hero. They can talk all big just to put other person down without thinking...

I wish Kashmir have their freedom but both countries won't allow this.

To me nothing is bigger than human lives.. But we both know both country won't allow their freedom..

BTW it also stupid by their side throwing stones at armies..

Masood Azhar & JeM are strategic assets for the real rules of Pakistan which is the Army . Any Pakistani who rejoices on loss of human lives is a terrorist in my opinion .
