Khalil has once again made the headlines after hurling obscenities and body-shaming a women on live TV. The panel was discussing upcoming Aurat March which Khalil adamantly opposes.

The video of the abuse has gone viral with Pakistanis celebrating Khalil and calling him a hero.

I wonder why TV channels invite this clown to their shows?
 
Some remarks made by this lowlife in the past three months:

-If women want equality, they should gang rape men.

- If a woman is raped, it is her fault because men cannot control their libido. The onus is on women to prevent rape.
 
What is more heartbreaking than the abuse itself is the fact that majority of Pakistanis are standing with this misogynist.
 
Most of the Pakistani women also agree with him. I hope we have another Benazir so she could revolutionize women to stand up against bullies like him.
 
He should not have disgraced the woman like that but he clearly stated in the beginning of his speech that he expects no interruptions during his speech. The lady has a habit of interrupting people and hijacking the other person's speech with her stubborn arguments, not giving the speaker a chance to express himself properly.

I guess the guy had this pre-planned.

I saw the video on social media. I don't know who this Khaleel guy is, but he sounded like a male chauvinistic dog. This is exactly why feminism is needed in Subcontinent. Men are too dominant in overwhelming majority of cases and they treat women like trash.

Marvi Sirmed is no angel but this guy is responsible for his own actions and what he did was ridiculous and unacceptable. The news channel deserves some penalties for allowing that to happen. Pathetic to allow this garbage to be aired on TV.

troodon asked for examples of what she posted so he provided some. Neither men nor women are allowed to produce that sort of filth on this Pakistani/Muslim site, if you want more liberty to do so, perhaps you should stick to social media rather than come here where the moderation has stricter standards.
 
I just saw the twitter posts from Marvi that seemed to be deleted by the Mods. Its funny there were no posts from the other end that were shown. They only show the swear words from Marvi. Would have been nice to see the whole conversation.

Obviously foul language was used on her and she just gave it right back to them. You think the other side people were calling her Madam and her highness and she Marvi still used swear words. You cannot be that naive.
 
People like him are why a woman like me left Pakistan for Europe. And why I would never marry a Pakistani man :)

Demeaning other gender is not freedom of speech. I love how you keep on saying that you hate Pakistani liberals, I would like to hear from you, how different are Western liberals from Pakistani liberals or you support right wing?

No he is absolutly right, to his point he is not saying women should not have their rights but he is saying Stay in your limits, you can fight your right but abuse them. I can see now days women litteraly abusing their right.

Since you are answering on his behalf, Can you tell me why people like you hate pakistani liberals and women so much? Do you want women to be confined to their homes and face harassment in silence?

As you can see, in Pakistan there are plenty of women capable of giving as good as they get. They have full freedom to use swear words as the men do, so what are you complaining about?

Right wing in Pakistan and Europe is the same. Perhaps the right-wing in Pakistan is worst where you have mullahs like Khadim shutting down the whole country. European right-wing is not that bad. European right wing want ban on hijabs and Pakistani right wing want ban on open hair from women. Sexism is rife in both of the worlds.

Feminism is in response to the MCP society which is prevalent in SC especially. Feminism is about equality between both the genders. Of course, there is a level in feminism which is extreme but its still not as dangerous as MCP.

Good to know that. But for anyone who have their arms up in air because a woman was seen using swear words, they should wake up and smell the coffee.

Nobody in 2020 should be a 2nd class citizen and nobody should be treated less than anyone else based on religion, caste, gender and sexual orientation.

You seriously need to read a book or two. There are limits on freedom of speech. You cannot abuse a person under the guise of freedom of speech.

Similarly, all Pakistanis get worked up (and rightly so) when anybody degrades or abuses Islam and Pakistanis say this cannot be justified in anyway including freedom of speech. It is the same case here.

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom to abuse any person or religion.
 
So apparently my wife told me that this Khalil dude was engaged to some woman - love marriage apparently - who left him for someone else. This led to his general distaste of women and hence why most of his dramas portray women in a negative light..

How are women abusing their rights in a country like Pakistan?On average, every day, at least three women are killed for honor in Pakistan. Hundreds have acid thrown on their faces because they reject somebody’s marriage proposal.

Pakistani women face harassment wherever they go. They are harassed by their lecturers at universities and by their bosses at work.

Khalil listened to Marvi's whole speech and did not interfere.
Then who gave Marvi the right to butt in when Khalil clearly told the anchors and Marvi to not disrupt him when he is speaking?

When someone is speaking, you don't interrupt. It is rude.

Looks like the woman was interrupting and Khalil lost his composure.

Can't fault Khalil too much here.

that has happened in Karachi, Pakistan I remember long time ago it was in news. The man was a waiter in a restaurant and good looking. Some rich women got him kidnapped and the stuff happened. Not sure if he ever get justice, the case just died.

Poor lady? Are you trolling? She is probably the most abusive social media personality in Pakistan. That doesn’t excuse the way Khalil-ur-Rehman acted but Sirmed is a pretty toxic person herself.

I agree. Marvi never used such language towards anyone, especially Bushra. She only once said that Bushra married someone like Imran knowingly, nothing more.
