Excellent bowling by Junaid but lacklustre fielding. Junaid still has an over left :)

1 over for saj, 1 for Mahroof and 1 for Junaid Khan. Warks need 29 runs

seriously talented. so calm and matured. he is the future of pakistan cricket. think the test format will suit him nicely aswell.

Well played lancs, and especially Junaid. He is improving day by day, glad we listened to Wasim. :)
Congrats all.

Congrats all.

Lancs is an excellent place for a young seamer to learn his trade. Flintoff started there, and Jimmy hails from there as well. Junaid will do well, if such an occasion permits, to grab a game alongside Jimmy to learn from him (and I'm sure give Jimmy a lesson in yorkers!).

And honestly, Lancs never has batsmen, only allrounders, some okay hitters and a good bowling attack. And we don't have star bowlers often, its always a team effort, with Chapple, Hogg, and Mahmood. I find it amusing that Junaid is a decent enough bat (for a tailender) as it is the aforementioned trio always pushing Lancs to a respectable score. I'm sure Junaid's development will be brilliant there, to learn how to operate in a hardworking team attack. And at the same time, offer Lancs a dash of the x-factor they need.

^ I hope he learns a lot from this experience. And becomes a bowler that Pakistan needs him to be. He is one of those bowlers who is very hard working anyways, this experience with Lancs will teach him the importance of team work.

You from Lancashire too?

^ Intresting, how long since your last visit?
Hate Preston BTW. :))

Haha, I was six when I left, and sadly never been back to it since then. I've been up in Manchester a few times and in London, but my stay was for a few weeks 3 years ago.

And as a sidenote: I really hope Junaid uses Chapple to his full advantage. Being placed under a bowling captain, who has served his county for so long is brilliant. Chapple is unlucky not to have a test cap because of his lack of pace, but if a bowler wants to learn consistency and discipline, there are few in County Cricket better to learn those from.

^ I would definitely go back frequently if I ever left my home town (which I never will).

Yeah, he should definitely gain something from his stint with Lancs. He is improving rapidly, hopefully he will become a valuable member of the Lancashire side.
