To do with frequency.
The higher the frequency the chances are you’ll hear Laurel.
Apparently the older you are the more likely you’ll hear laurel..

I heard Laurel initially and was surprised how can anyone hear Yanni. A day later I was hearing Yanni, and at that time another younger person with me listening to the same thing was hearing Laurel, when this person a day before could only hear Yanni. Today, I was hearing Laurel again.

I hear laurel, it says if you can hear higher frequencies then you hear laurel. So the oldies wouldn't actually hear laurel lol.
