Mahira Khan trolled for smoking with Ranbir Kapoor, finds support in Ali Zafar and fans

I think you are arguing just for the sake of it. There are indians who have no hatred for pakistanis, but they are a minority. It is generally true that indians hate pakistanis ( i expect it is the same the other way, but don't have any experiences to base this assumption on).

Ok ,lets do the math, how many people are below poverty level?Surely they don't care about Pakistan.
Next lets come to southern states, the educated ones don't have any bias against them, very few keyboard warriors as well trying to make a point.

Now east India, again similar issues,Punjabis are divided hate and love.So yeah how is that few?

Yes, I don't have any idea about the ones below poverty line, and even if they hate, it doesn't matter, as their voice never gets heard.

Lets talk about the indians whose voice gets heard, the people you and I deal with, the middle class which dominates the print and social media. The ones with access to internet. The ones who are most educated.

How many in your circle have a favourable opinion of pakistan? in my circle only some muslims have a neutral opinion.

I live in south people don't care so much,in my family in delhi many listen to Pakistani songs and watch Pakistani dramas, some Men obviously have anti-Pakistani bias nothing against the citizens, but again most don't care except the ultra Pandits.

Not everyone is on front of news or facebook having negative impacts. We should be able to differentiate between the rulers and citizens but nevertheless this has stretched out so leave it.

Watching pakistani dramas means nothing. If your family and friends don't hate pakistan good for them, but in my interaction with the educated middle class, the majority hates pakistan with a passion.

just one example..i was interviewing for a position in reliance jio, most of the hires were US returned or from premier colleges in india. There was an earthquake, and we had to evacuate. Someone said that the epicenter was in pakistan. The guy, who would have been my boss if I got hired, said that oh, in that case we don't mind having some more earthquakes if the epicenter is in pakistan, and the entire team laughed. These were among the most educated and bright minds in the industry. I wanted to post about that incident that day, but thought why let let hatred propagate..but you forced me to talk about it today. Sorry if it undermines your agenda of promoting aman ki asha.

I see the blatant generalization and targeting of north Indians have begun at last.
My fellow compatriots , never seem to disappoint as usual.

Aman Ki asha is a propaganda I don't support that similar to how I don't care about Love Jihad,Hindus are in danger and all that.

But seems like you do have an agenda, and as i said its been stretched enough.

How,also I named my family in Delhi .

The dig was subtle but it was there.

You are doing the same mistake as others at assuming everything is a dig, even in realistic cases North shares a border with Pak thereby being more consumed by them ,than say TN which has higher dislike for Lanka and North doesn't.

The world gives too much importance to social media comments.

The two-faced keyboard warriors on twitter.com have never changed anything in the larger scheme of things, so just stop offering them the undeserved airtime.

Nobody cares. Just worry about yourself. These people dont pay your rent. Dont like them, dont watch them.

i am sick of seeing the pictures of these all over social media

Like when Sharmila Tagore married Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi? Or SRK and Arbaaz Khan's wives being non Muslims? How about Saif Ali Khan marrying Kareena Kapoor?

RSS had plenty to say... And they weren’t even this big on love jihad then... Thankfully they can’t murder them like they murder poor couples

It's called freedom of speech, everyone has the right to speak their mind whether you like it or not, you even have a problem with RSS speaking?

Just because they have freedom of speech doesn’t mean they’re free from people calling out their bigotry.... if you don’t want people to call you out don’t say dumb **

I would think the smoking is a complete side issue on this one, Really they don't like seeing a muslim girl with a hindu guy. It cuts deep I bet :D

I remember my grandmother use to sit in her backyard at the chak and smoke hookah all day like a savage, I remember having a few puffs as a 10 year old too haha.

Pakistan’s stunning actress Mahira Khan’s new look on awards night in Saudi Arabia triggered a backlash and praise and a storm of comments emerged after the video of the awards show went viral.

Mahira who first shot to fame after playing a lead role in Humsafar with Fawad Khan that catapulted her to the film industry has given back-to-back hits.

Her look always inspires fans but this time fans were not seen happy.

In black sleeveless outfits, Mahira looked a little chubby in a darker-coloured dress. She wore bright smoky makeup with dark eye shed and magenta lipsticks. Her stony earrings were enhancing her beauty.

Despite their perfect makeover with match nail paint fans are criticising Mahira’s bold look on the awards night, as they believed she hadn’t worn such a bold dress before.

Horrible replies in that link. Why should anyone care how she dresses or applies makeup?

Mahira Khan’s latest statement about wearing sleeveless ignites criticism

Popular Pakistani actress Mahira Khan recently made an appearance at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi hosted by the renowned poet Anwar Maqsood and has sparked a new debate.

During the conversation with Anwar Maqsood, the superstar reflected on her career, the importance of cultural values, and her family’s influence on her upbringing.

‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ actress shared her views about the traditional customs regarding clothing and agreed with the younger generation wearing Western clothes.

The actress emphasized that while younger generations are intelligent and aware, cultural values and the practice of wearing modest clothing should not be abandoned.

"This tarbiyat (upbringing) is essential and should remain intact," she added.

Mahira also talked about her experiences with her late grandmother, mentioning how she disapproved of sleeveless clothing.

"I was always cautious around my grandmother and avoided wearing sleeveless clothes out of respect for her."
