He may have

Give Umar and Khushdil a Pakistan shirt right now and a place in the starting XI against Australia for example

Who’s more likely to score runs and that too at the right pace?

Khusdil will score more runs but at a slower pace. I foresee Umar having a brain fade like before.

:))) opener/ You clearly dont understand cricket.

Opening is the easiest job in LOIs. Don’t expect you to understand that though. Your favorite cricketer played a brand of 60s cricket in the 2010s.

Hopefully this guy will never be anywhere close to the national team again. He went from being a talented youngster to brainless slogger. At 32 years of age he still doesn't have the self-awareness to see that the only person to blame for his career trajectory is himself. How can a player improve their weaknesses if they refuse to accept they exist.
Even if by some miracle he becomes the leading scorer in domestics, bringing him back would set Pakistan cricket back 10 years with the toxic culture.

Indiscipline ended Umar's career. He started thinking off himself as a Tendulker being irreplaceable in the side when he had achieved nothing in the game. He was more interested in dancing and partying instead of practicing on improving his game. For a 32 years of age man he is incredibly immature and childlike. The sooner he accepts his time as an international cricketer is over the better it will be for him. We need to go forward not backwards. Someone who believes water consumption increases his weight doesn't deserve to ever put on the famous green jersey again.

Umar Akmal hammered a 71-ball 76 with three sixes and five fours.

Umar Akmal is a shining example of everything wrong with desi mindset. No matter how old you become, you still blame your problems on others. Never once will he accept responsibility for anything, it’s always someone else’s fault.

Cricketers like this have no shame.
