A draw will suit Liverpool the best, so far so good in that respect.

The two teams are largely cordial, Arteta will rub baby oil on Pep’s head after the game and give him a massage. There’s no real rivalry here.
Yeah, he could borrow some of Ben White's tanning lotion. But Pep will look to ramp things up in this 2nd half and put Lego man back in his place.

Both teams know its a must not lose game, now that Liverpool won earlier

Losing would be harmful but 3 points is huge esp for Arsenal. Not just going top again but will give huge confidence to win the other 4 away games , all tough ones .

2nd half will see more shots on target with Doku , Trossard and others coming on .

Erling Haaland only had seven touches in the first half against Arsenal

Arsenal midfield and forwards keep giving ball away to easily. Can't keep giving city ball back like this.

Maybe get Martinelli on and try and force city back

One way traffic here, Arsenal offering nothing here in terms of attacks

Arsenal should take this if they can hang on.

Point at the Ettihad isn't too bad.

Well done boys, well earned point.

Need Liverpool to drop points somewhere soon.

Would have taken a point here at eithad

Liverpool the winners here!

@shaz619 you're right, loads of oil rubbing incoming from Arteta on Pep's bald napper.

A fantastic point in the end...

City not scoring at home doesn't happen....so our defence did brilliantly...

Brilliant defensively, shame Jesus can't finish his dinner at other end

But I'd have take a point before the game

The defensive evolution of Arsenal under Arteta is as impressive as the ascendency in the PL standings.

It shows how brilliant a manager he is. You would never associate such defending with Arsenal. They defend like 2004-2006 Mourinho’s Chelsea.

This is brilliant point and I don’t think it is advantage Liverpool because Arsenal are by far the best defensive side in the league.

I think if we had Toney today we may have nicked this one...

But we were set up to defend and counter, especially in the first half where we didn't press at all...

Two big games for us, especially at Brighton on Saturday and then we hope Manu United can do something at home against Liverpool

I guarantee you a certain troll will come out from his cave to post on here to let us know that we have "zero ball knowledge" if our prediction isn't perfect.
I don’t understand why you are so rattled. I understand that you can’t debate with me on both sides of the forum which is why you chickened out of the Arteta thread after my last post, but there is no reason for talking about me or referencing me in a thread that I didn’t even post in.

It is funny when you said that you drove me out of the Arsenal threads. No one can drive me out because no can debate with me.

Certain posters have me on ignore list because they know they can’t debate with me and decided to run away. You can also follow their lead.

The worry always is in these very tight games, you need your striker to take the 1 or 2 chances they get. Both misses some up Jesus as a striker, just not that guy when it's needed most.

Just need to beat Luton next. Liverpool play sheff utd. City play Villa

Just need to win all our remaining games left

You were driven out because the whole thread was laughing at you after reading all those gems I listed of yours. You literally ran from the Arsenal thread to randomly tag me in some Shan Masood thread. And you think I'm the one who's rattled? :ROFLMAO:

They hit the ignore button because of your substandard quality of posts. I don't blame them and the gems are still there for everyone to see.

I actually don't understand how this dude can appear on these Arsenal threads given the complete and utter *** he made of himself last season. Some people are just too shameless and glutton for punishment.

You literally should've seen him in the Arsenal thread a few weeks ago. I listed all his gems and the whole thread was laughing at him. He ran from the Arsenal thread because he got so rattled, he started tagging me in the Shan Masood thread all because I praised his captaincy :ROFLMAO:

Eh? Is that how I took you on last season and absolutely minced you.

These were his gems (the last one is what got everyone laughing at him):

I’ll take a point.

Arsenal started of very slowly - Ake should have scored from the corner but failed to do so. When Ake got injured, I felt Arsenal found some momentum.

Jesus missed 2-3 chances. But wow, the partnership of Saliba and Gabriel has to be the best in the world surely? Defensive monsters.
