What's new

Manchester United | 2019/20 Season

Clueless biased English United fans hating on a foreign player.... unsurprising! Funny how he talks about Martial getting a hattrick yet his hero Rashford has scored one and has less goals that Martial from open play. Talks about Martial being poor. Lol talk about being clueless.

One of the biggest problems at United are these clueless United fans who criticise quality players, yet praise every single British player.

Anyway, I won't let some clueless United fan spoil my mood.

clueless fans = everyone is rubbish till they have a good game, every player is a good signing till they have a bad game, unless your english then your automatically rubbish even if you're wayne rooney in your prime.

United have now done over all the top sides...barring Liv.

Bruno is a top signing.

MU should have won against LP if it wasnt for Young, they should have done better at anfield too if we had rashford, martial was as always terrible upfront and James delivery was bad,

It is baffling how United, in its current state, basically had a free run at Bruno.

What a fabulous midfielder. Walks into every single team in the world.

Tahith Chong: Man Utd winger signs new contract at Old Trafford

Manchester United winger Tahith Chong has signed a new contract that will keep him at Old Trafford until the summer of 2022.

The 20-year-old's deal had been due to expire at the end of this season and he was strongly linked with a move away.

Chong, a Netherlands Under-21 international, has made 14 appearances for the United first team.

"We can see that he has a bright future at Manchester United," said manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

"His performances this season, whether for the first team or under-23s, are testament to his hard work, dedication and to his character.

"We are pleased with the progress he has made since he stepped up from the academy."

Chong added: "I am working hard every day to improve and I know this is the perfect environment to develop my game.

"I am delighted to sign this new contract and really grateful for the chance to prove myself here for many years to come."

Manchester United have triggered the clause extending Nemanja Matic's contract by a year - and are in talks about lengthening it further, the PA news agency understands.
The 31-year-old swapped Chelsea for Old Trafford in 2017, signing a three-year deal with the option of an additional season.
United have moved to keep Matic at the club by invoking that clause, although an agreement could yet be reached to keep him at the club even longer

Manchester United will continue to pay all casual matchday staff even if the remainder of their season is cancelled or played behind closed doors.

The Football Association has announced that all elite football is suspended until 30 April because of coronavirus, but United say their staff's earnings will be unaffected.

Old Trafford will host four Premier League matches if the season resumes.

It is understood the payments total £1m and cover more than 3,000 staff.

The club also say staff will be paid should postponed fixtures be rearranged for another date.

"This goodwill gesture reflects the club's desire to reduce the financial uncertainty facing its casual workforce, and is in recognition of the crucial role they play in delivering services to supporters," said the club in a statement.

United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward added: "We rely on our outstanding staff to deliver an exceptional service and experience to fans at Old Trafford.

"We understand that these are unprecedented circumstances and want to give them security whatever may happen regarding our remaining fixtures this season."

Paul Pogba v Graeme Souness: Man Utd midfielder responds to criticism

"I didn't even know who he was." Ouch.

Football may have ground to a temporary halt but it doesn't look as though the animosity between Graeme Souness and Paul Pogba will be stopping any time soon.

It's probably fair to say former Liverpool, Blackburn and Newcastle manager Souness isn't the biggest fan of the 27-year-old Manchester United midfielder.

A long-time critic, the ex-Scotland midfielder, 66, has previously called Pogba "selfish" and suggested that, for the Frenchman, it's all about "how cool he looks" and "how clever he is".

And even in lockdown - and with Pogba currently injured - the criticism has continued.

In a recent Q&A with the Sunday Times, the Sky Sports pundit said: "Pogba has absolutely everything to be a top player - great athleticism, super technique - but his attitude to the game is the polar opposite of mine.

“He goes out with one thought in his mind: 'I’m going to show everyone how clever I am today and be the star of the show.'

"He'd be an absolute doddle to play against."

But finally, Pogba - who United paid £89m to re-sign from Juventus in 2016 - has hit back.

“I didn’t even know who he was, really,” the France international told the United Podcast.

“I heard he was a great player and stuff like that. I know the face, but [not] the name.

"I’m not someone who watches a lot of [punditry]. I watch a lot of football but I don’t stay after the game to listen to what they say about why they did this, or why they did that. I like to focus on football."

It didn't take long for Souness to speak out again, though.

Chatting to Jamie Carragher on Sky Sports' The Football Show on Tuesday, Souness said: “You know the oldest saying in football comes to mind: Put your medals on the table.

"I've got a big table."

Souness has won a fair few medals in his time. Five English First Division titles with Liverpool, as well as three European Cups and three League Cups.

But Pogba's trophy cabinet isn't exactly bare. Four Serie A titles from his time at Juventus, a Europa Cup win with United - and a World Cup winner’s medal from 2018.

It looks as though this spat might just be the gift that keeps on giving for some time to come.

Harry Maguire exclusive: Manchester United want the title, not just a Champions League spot

Harry Maguire insists Manchester United want to be challenging for Premier League titles, not just Champions League spots.

Maguire, who joined United from Leicester for £80m last summer, was made captain of the club in January after the departure of Ashley Young, and has enjoyed an impressive first season at Old Trafford.

With the Premier League halted due to the coronavirus crisis, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United sit fifth in the table, three points off the top four but 37 points off leaders Liverpool, having finished 32 points off last season's champions Manchester City.

But speaking exclusively to Sky Sports' Gary Neville and Geoff Shreeves for The Football Show, Maguire says the club's ambitions are bigger than a Champions League spot, and he can see the improvement, particularly in defence.

"I think you can see from the start of the season we look a lot more like a team, we can probably see where we want to go, where we want to head. I knew when I first came to Manchester United that Ole said to me loads and loads it's a building process but we'll be where we want to be. I can see where we're heading and the style he wants to implement on the team.

"Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of aspects we need to improve to get to the top of where we want to be. We don't want to be challenging for this Champions League spot, we want to be challenging for titles.

"We know there's still a lot of improvement to get there, but we're on the right track and I'm sure eventually we will get there."

Since a 2-0 defeat by Burnley in January, United have kept nine clean sheets out of 11 games, winning eight and drawing three.

Maguire says the reason for the upturn in defensive form is increased competition with the emergence of younger players and returning injured players, and also their improvement at defending set-pieces.

"One thing we've shored up on is defending set plays. If you look at our record before the run of clean sheets, defending set plays we were up there with one of the worst in the league. If you can't defend set plays and you're not scoring at the other end through them you're not going to stand a chance of reaching where you want to go, it's such a big part of the game now.

"We've gelled together, it's a new back four, Luke [Shaw] has been playing really, really well of late. We've got Aaron [Wan-Bissaka], me and Vic (Victor Lindelof). Eric [Bailly] is coming back and is pushing for a place, which makes everyone up their games, because when he's come in he's done really well.

"We've got a settled back four and we're just learning each other's games really well."

Another improvement has been in central midfield, with January signing Bruno Fernandes slotting in superbly and winning the Player of the Month award in the Premier League for February.

Maguire says the £68m midfielder's influence has been felt off the pitch as well as on it.

"He's been brilliant since he's come in, off the field around the training ground, he's a leader and wants to win, everything he does he wants to win, you can tell he's been brought up with that attitude. He's just given us that little bit more life and creativity in the middle, something you (Neville) and United fans have said we've missed over the years.

"It's a start, there are lots of aspects of his game I'm sure he'll want to improve, and I'm sure he will improve. I'm sure he will get better for this club.

"We've got Paul [Pogba] to come back as well, who I'm sure will probably make himself lift his game even more. We have a lot of competition in that centre midfield now, they know they have to be on their game to keep their spot, so I'm sure we'll see the benefit."

Reflecting on his decision to move to Old Trafford last summer, Maguire admits that while there had been difficult times at stages this season, he feels United are firmly on the right track and recognises they are more than just a football club.

Asked by Neville if he was happy with the decision to move to United, Maguire said: "Yeah, definitely. It's such a big club, an iconic club that as soon as I knew Man United were interested I was champing at the bit to get there. As soon as I came to the club, just the way the club is run, I was so happy at the decision.

"Obviously we had some difficult times at the start of the season where results didn't go our way, and you know when you play for a club like Manchester United that the pressure comes down on you, but we know we're on the right track, we've always felt that we're on the right track.

"Like I said there's so much work to do, I'm not saying that we're there yet, but if we keep improving like we have this season, and I'm sure next season will be better than this season and so on, and we'll build and try and reach our goals.

"It's more than a club, more than a football club, you see the way they've acted during this crisis, how classy they've been throughout, it's more than a football club, it works in the community and in Manchester, and you can see over the crisis, the many things they've done."

Ed Woodward has warned it may not be “business as usual” for Manchester United in the next transfer window, the executive vice-chairman saying that spending hundreds of millions of pounds on a player could ignore the financial impact of coronavirus.

Covid-19 has caused the suspension of football since early March and there is uncertainty over when it will return. Woodward pointed to this when assessing the level of finance Ole Gunnar Solskjær may have to strengthen his squad.

“Nobody should be under any illusions about the scale of challenge facing everyone in football and it may not be ‘business as usual’ for any clubs, including ourselves, in the transfer market this summer,” he told a United fans’ forum via conference call. “As ever our priority is the success of team. But we need visibility of the impact across the whole industry, including timings of the transfer window, and the wider financial picture, before we can talk about a return to normality.

“On this basis, I cannot help feeling that speculation around transfers of individual players for hundreds of millions of pounds this summer seems to ignore the realities that face the sport.”

As reported by the Guardian, the uncertainty means United have recognised that buying a striker of the value of Tottenham’s Harry Kane – around £150m – is unrealistic.

However Woodward said a global, multi-sponsor model gave United robustness. “It is also important to acknowledge the part played by our successful business in allowing us to fulfil our social responsibilities,” he said. “We have always believed that our commercial model gives us greater resilience than most clubs and we are grateful for the enduring support of our commercial partners.”

Woodward acknowledged that games may initially be staged behind closed doors. “We are eager to see the team return to the field as soon as we are advised it is safe to do so,” he said. “Hopefully to complete a season which still held so much promise for us in the Premier League, the Europa League and the FA Cup when it was suspended. We are in constant dialogue with our governing bodies about when and how that will happen and we will continue to engage with this forum to keep fans consulted.

“And while it may be that games need to be played behind closed doors in the shorter term, we all recognise that football will not be fully back to normal until supporters are once again in attendance.”

Manchester United will trial 1,500 barrier seats that will allow fans to stand next season, after being given permission by Trafford council.

Standing at top-flight games has been banned since 1994 on the recommendation of the Taylor report which followed the Hillsborough disaster of 1989 in which 96 Liverpool fans died.

United applied last year to have barrier seating – which has a rail in front for supporters to lean on – and have the green light to follow Wolves, who were given permission last spring to trial it.

The 1,500 berths are to be in Old Trafford’s J-stand, in the north-east quadrant of the stadium. If the trial is successful the club will add further safe standing places.

Richard Arnold, United’s managing director, said the move followed feedback from fans and had safety in mind. “Our belief is that the introduction of barrier seats will enhance spectator safety in areas of the stadium where – as with other clubs – we have seen examples of persistent standing,” he said.

He also addressed the timing of the announcement amid coronavirus. “Our overwhelming priority is to keep our people safe from the Covid-19 pandemic. It may seem strange to talk about stadium plans at this time, but football and our fans will return when it is safe, and our preparations for that must continue in the background.”

Manchester United will speak to defender Marcos Rojo about his conduct after apparently flouting Argentina's coronavirus lockdown rules.

Images of Rojo, who is on loan at Estudiantes, playing poker and smoking with friends were posted on social media by the 30-year-old's brother Franco. They were subsequently deleted.

Argentina's lockdown rules remain in place until at least 10 May.

Rojo, 30, is the latest Premier League star to ignore lockdown demands.

Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish, Manchester City defender Kyle Walker and Everton forward Moise Kean have all be criticised for ignoring governmental advice since the Premier League was brought to a halt in March.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in no doubt Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes will thrive linking up in Manchester United's midfield, believing "good players can always play together".

It was reported this week FIFA are investigating the transfer of Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon following a complaint from his former team Sampdoria. The 25-year-old joined United from Sporting in January for an initial fee of £48m and has registered three goals and four assists in nine games.

Sky Sports understand Sampdoria inserted a 10 per cent sell-on clause on any profit Sporting made on Fernandes when they sold him in 2017. However, the Portuguese club say that clause is null and void as the playmaker signed a fresh deal in June 2018 after terminating the original one.

Solskjaer is keen to get the player back out onto the pitch, where his stellar performances earned him the Premier League player of the month award for February prior to the lockdown - and he will have the chance to develop a strong understanding with Pogba, whose season had been wrecked by two ankle injuries.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is confident Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba can form a strong partnership in midfield claiming “good players can always play together”

When asked about the prospect of playing Fernandes alongside Pogba in midfield for the remaining games, the United manager told Sky Sports: "Good players can always play together, so definitely, they can - it's a big yes.

"I think it's exciting... we do have an exciting squad. I've got Scott (McTominay), Fred, Nemanja (Matic). There's many games coming up and I'm sure we can find a good connection between them. We've been discussing that as a coaching team of course, and we're looking forward to it.

"Of course Bruno coming in, making the impact he made, it was a boost for everyone, the club, supporters and players. Getting Paul and Marcus Rashford back would be fantastic.

"Paul has had a difficult season with injuries, and Marcus as well is getting back. So for us, and for them too, this gives them a chance to start on a par or even ahead of other players."

United were on an 11-game unbeaten run in all competitions prior to football's shutdown, with the 2-0 win in the Manchester derby keeping Solskjaer's side in fifth place with nine games still to play.

United's upturn in form coincided with the arrival of Odion Ighalo on a six-month loan deal from Shanghai Shenhua, and the Nigerian revealed earlier this month there is "no offer on the table yet" from United over extending his stay at the club beyond his current spell.

Solskjaer confirmed he is happy with his current squad but that the club will always be looking at ways to improve personnel.

We're always looking to improve the squad. This uncertainty in the market now, who knows how football and the market is going to be, but I'm very happy with the squad I've got.

"I think Mason (Greenwood), Anthony (Martial) and Marcus have been fantastic this season, they've scored up to 50 goals between them," the United boss continued. "Marcus got his injury, on course for his best season, Anthony too, and Mason of course is just a unique talent with his goal-scoring ability.

"But we're always looking to improve the squad. This uncertainty in the market now, who knows how football and the market is going to be, but I'm very happy with the squad I've got.

"Today's world is different to what it was two months ago. We've got to adjust, adapt, there's clubs out there struggling more than us financially. It's a new world, and I think the transfer market this summer will be completely different to what anyone thought it would be."

'There is always pressure to win trophies at United'

Solskjaer confirmed every member of his first-team squad is now back in the UK from their respective home countries, but the group are yet to return to Carrington in any capacity as the players continue to carry out individual training programmes.

Man Utd recall players from abroad
Carrick: Uncertainty 'biggest challenge' for players
Club doctors have been on the site in preparation for the season resuming, and Solskjaer is confident that his squad will be in the best physical condition should the Premier League be given the green light to return.

"We've got loads at stake," Solskjaer continued. "We've just started to find form, three points behind Chelsea, we've got nine games, so we're hoping to move up the table. That's what we've got to do, and whenever that starts, and we're going to try to catch them.

"Now, it's about getting them together as a group. That's a strange scenario; we've been working in a team environment all these years, you're used to the connection with the boys, shaking hands, giving them a hug if they need to.

"Now with all this, that's gone, so that's my main concern, how we get back and how we're going to build that environment again.

"We've always got this pressure at Man United of trophies, winning the next game. We've been through a difficult season, a rebuild, I think everyone knows that and has seen that. And I think we're starting to see something exciting.

"We're still in the FA Cup, we'd like to win it, the Europa League we're still in. Of course we'd like to win trophies. I think the players we have are exciting, and they're getting better and better, most of them are improving.

"What we're working towards - with the principles and the way we want to play - yes, we're settle defensively, we want to get more exciting attacking wise, but with Marcus back, Bruno and Paul back, you'd expect us to be more exciting."

Solskjaer underlined the club will take no risks when it comes to the players' safety and welfare, with social distancing upheld at all times until it is safe for those measures to be eased.

Clubs could face the prospect of having players who refuse to play amid the coronavirus crisis, and Solskjaer would understand if any of his squad had reservations about returning in the current climate.

The 47-year-old said: "You wouldn't hold anything against them. If a player is not mentally ready to play, I don't think we could force anyone. They've not raised too many concerns, but of course we trust the experts, the health officers."

When asked about the prospect of playing behind closed doors at neutral venues, Solskjaer added: "Football has always been about the fans, the environment we play in and the atmosphere.

"But these are strange times. Whatever they decide, it's going to be a boost for everyone to get football back on. I'm just hoping we get a safe solution soon."

Gary Neville told The Football Show Pogba's long-rumoured departure from Manchester United could be put on hold for at least a year as a result of the fallout of the coronavirus epidemic, with clubs feeling the financial pressure of the ongoing lockdown across Europe, and perhaps unable to afford a man who still ranks as the Premier League's most expensive player.

"The direction all season of Pogba's career was always facing away from Manchester in the sense that there was so much speculation and his agent was coming out all the time," he said. "And now with what's happened, coronavirus and the economic reset in football, what clubs are going to be able to buy Paul Pogba for the reputed £80m, £100m fees that were being thrown around?

"Which clubs are going to be paying the huge wages he's on at Manchester United? I'm not diminishing him as a player, I'm just talking about the economic situation the whole world finds itself in.

"Paul Pogba may have to, and may want to, sit at Manchester United for the next 12 to 18 months, and look at the fact he's at a club he can play with Bruno Fernandes, Fred, (Scott) McTominay, Maguire, Wan-Bissaka, De Gea, Rashford, Greenwood, Rashford."

Odion Ighalo hopes his loan deal at Manchester United is extended until the Premier League season is completed.

The Nigeria striker, 30, moved from Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua in January and has a contract until 31 May.

Premier League bosses hope to resume the season in June but, with China's Super League also intent on a restart, Ighalo may have to return to Shanghai.

"I would like to finish the season if it's possible," Ighalo told BBC Sport.

"I was in good form, good shape, scoring goals and now we've stopped now for over a month. I've given it my best and hopefully we'll come back to play.

"The team had a good momentum before the pandemic started. At the moment I'm on loan, and this will cut short my time at the club."

BBC Sport understand United are keen to extend Nigeria international Ighalo's contract.

He has scored four goals in eight games in all competitions for United, including once in the 5-0 Europa League last-16 win over LASK on 12 March, a day before the Premier League season was suspended.

"The club, myself, every footballer is going through a lot because we can't do what we love and what we know how to do best, so we're just thinking about that for now and to finish the season before we start thinking about the contract," said Ighalo.

"I just want everyone to be safe and see what the future holds."

United are fifth in the table with nine games remaining.

Ighalo said the Premier League will make the right decision in order to ensure players are "safe and healthy" if and when play resumes.

Premier League clubs will meet on Monday to discuss a resumption to the season.

The Chinese Super League is hopeful of restarting in late June.

The Chinese football association has made a proposal for all professional clubs to cut the salaries of players and coaches by up to 50% to help combat the financial impact of the pandemic.

Juventus are believed to be close to a deal to re-sign France midfielder Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

Manchester United have made a financial loss of £3.3m as Ed Woodward revealed the club's third-quarter figures on Thursday, with total revenues down by 18.7 per cent to £123.7m.

Executive vice chairman Ed Woodward last month conceded that United are not "immune" to the financial ramifications of the coronavirus crisis, although said the club can remain "highly competitive" in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Fewer games have been played in this financial quarter due to the ongoing pandemic, with United making less money from broadcasting and matchday revenues.

Their last match came on March 12 with a 5-0 behind-closed-doors win over LASK in the Europa League, while Premier League clubs have stepped up preparations for a return to action with players back to team training.

Speaking on Thursday, Woodward said: "Our focus remains on the health and well-being of our colleagues, fans and partners around the world and we are extremely proud of how those connected to the club have responded during this crisis.

"Since the start of the pandemic, Manchester United and our Foundation have provided assistance to hospitals, charities and schools in our communities, as well as support for frontline workers and vulnerable fans.

"These actions reflect our core values as a club and the resilience through adversity that we have demonstrated many times throughout our long history and will do so again to weather these current challenges.

"In that spirit, we look forward to the team safely returning to the pitch and building on the exciting momentum that Ole and the players had previously achieved, while taking all necessary steps to protect public health.

"Our thoughts remain with all those affected during this unprecedented time."

Manchester United say the coronavirus pandemic has cost them an initial £28m - and expect the final figure to be far higher.

United revealed their third-quarter results to 31 March on Thursday.

Chief financial officer Cliff Baty said they are set to hand back £20m in TV revenue to broadcasters even if the Premier League season is completed.

United lost an additional £8m over the final three weeks of March, when they had three matches postponed.

A total of 11 United matches have been postponed because of the pandemic.

Speaking in a conference call after the latest financial results were released, Baty explained that Premier League television broadcasters would get £20m back from the club because of changes in dates and kick-off times resulting from the pandemic.

With games called off - including matches in the Europa League and FA Cup - Baty said that sponsorship revenues had "contracted", and that retail sales had been "impacted" with the club store at Old Trafford still closed.

He added that matchday revenues were "significantly impacted", with an acceptance games will be played behind closed doors for the foreseeable future.

Postponement of Tottenham game 'cost £4m'

United have refused to put a figure on what the anticipated overall financial cost of the pandemic will be ultimately - but executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward said the major burden would fall in the current quarter, which runs to 30 June.

"Our third-quarter results reflect a partial impact that the pandemic has had on the club but the greater impact will be in the current quarter and likely beyond," said Woodward.

Revenues for the quarter fell by 18.7% to £123.7m. The club's debt rose by £124.4m to £429.1m.

Baty said the postponement of the Premier League trip to Tottenham on 15 March cost United £4m alone.

"These are unprecedented times and we must recognise that this crisis will not disappear overnight," said Woodward.

"However, our club is built on a solid foundation. We remain firmly optimistic about the long-term prospects for the club once we have worked our way through what is undoubtedly one of the most extraordinary and testing periods in the 142-year history of Manchester United."

Odion Ighalo looks set to return to China when his loan expires this week.

Odion Ighalo looks set to return to China when his loan expires this week.

Manchester United couldn't agree an extension with Shanghai Shenhua.

Striker Odion Ighalo looks set to return to China when his loan deal expires on 31 May, with Manchester United struggling to agree an extension with Shanghai Shenhua.

The Nigerian, 30, was signed on a short-term loan deal in January as cover for striker Marcus Rashford, who had been ruled out by a back injury.

However, the impact of the coronavirus pandemic means Ighalo's loan will end before the Premier League's intended June return date, by which time Rashford is also expected to be fit.

United have already decided not to sign Ighalo permanently, but have not given up hope of getting a short extension to his loan.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would like him for the rest of the season, given they are still in three competitions and could play up to 18 games in just over two months.

A lifelong United fan who has scored four goals in eight appearances for the club, Ighalo wants to stay at Old Trafford if possible.

However, negotiations with Shanghai have proved difficult, with the Chinese Super League club insistent the player returns as planned.

Ighalo returned for training with United last week and it is understood he will report to Carrington this week as the club explore any opportunity to keep him until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, United have waived future fees, and back dated some, of three clubs with players on loan.

Hearts, Burton, and Bolton are each expected to save a five-figure sum on their loan deals for - respectively - Joel Pereira, Kieran O'Hara and Ethan Hamilton.

United have made the gesture in recognition of the financial strains some clubs face.

Pogba and Rashford ready to return for Manchester United, says Solskjær

Ole Gunnar Solskjær believes Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford will be ready to play when the Premier League resumes given each has impressed in training after returning from injury.

Manchester United began working at their Carrington base last week. Pogba’s ankle problem and Rashford’s back injury had ruled them out since late December and mid-January, respectively, but each are now fit.

“They’re looking good, they’ve joined training now and they’ve done everything the other boys have been doing,” Solskjaer told manutd.com. “No reaction so far, touch wood. When we get started it looks like we can have a full squad to choose from.”

The manager is content with how his players had been working individually at home during lockdown. His squad are working in small groups, though the expectation is that this restriction could be eased next week after the government reviews the conditions it is imposing.

Solskjær said: “I think when we start training in full groups we will need a bit of time to gel again but they’re mentally ready and physically they look OK too. That’s what you do when you’re a footballer, you just want to play football. The first step has been coming together, obviously in small groups, but they’ve enjoyed that.

“The players have been looking after themselves. They’ve done well. Charlie [Owen] the fitness coach, Kieran [McKenna], Michael [Carrick] and Martyn [Pert] have been on to them all the time. They’ve not had many days off. There have been video calls and in the last couple of weeks they’ve been stepping it up. Now we’ve proved we can do this safely we can move to the next step. It’s been really enjoyable being on the training ground again.

“Everyone’s looking sharp, everyone’s been in with a good mood and we’ve been splitting up in groups, so [working in] fours and fives together, and they’ve really done well. So far it’s been good.”

Inter Milan want Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United on a longer loan deal, following the extension of the 2020/21 season.

Manchester United have agreed a deal to extend Odion Ighalo's loan until the end of January 2021, pending formal approval.

Ighalo initially joined Manchester United in a Deadline Day move from Shanghai Shenua in January, and scored four times in eight appearances in all competitions prior to the suspension of the Premier League.

His current deal at Shenua runs out in December 2022 and he will be expected to sign a contract offer until the end of 2024 worth £400,000 a week.

He will now miss the majority of the 2020 Chinese Super League season, which is scheduled to begin in June.

Shanghai's original stance was that they would only agree to extend his loan if an obligation to buy was incorporated into the deal, with Ighalo likely to cost upwards of £20m.

However, with border restrictions potentially preventing Ighalo from returning to China in time for the new season, Ighalo's parent club have softened their stance and have allowed him to extend his stay at Old Trafford.

(Reuters) - Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he expects his players to hit the ground running when they face Tottenham Hotspur in their first game back when the Premier League season restarts this month.

Soccer in England has been suspended since mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but clubs have voted to restart the season on June 17.

United travel to Spurs on June 19 and Solskjaer said his squad will have to go into that game with the same mentality they had on the opening day of the season when they dominated Chelsea in a 4-0 win at Old Trafford.

"We've been looking forward to these games for ages really," Solskjaer told United's website here on Friday. "The first game is two weeks from today so we need to step up the training and get an edge to our game again.

“Everyone knows that we’ll have to be at our best, have to be focused (against Tottenham). We know it’s a big game for everyone.

“We had Chelsea when we started the league this season so I’m confident that our players can go into the Tottenham game with that mentality of going there to play a very good game of football.”

Fifth-placed United were on a 11-match unbeaten run in all competitions when the season was suspended and Solskjaer said they have been working on what they did right while also implementing “new ideas”.

“Training has been about recapping what we did well, tweaking maybe one or two things and looking at some new ideas,” Solskjaer added. “Hopefully we can see a lot of what we saw towards the end before the lockdown.

“We’ve got games coming weekend, midweek, weekend for a spell, so you have to focus on ourselves and not just on that one, first game.”

Only 30 minutee of the Pogba and Fernandes midfield partnership tonight against Spurs, but it looked pretty special.

Still struggling to breakdown compact defences. I expect United to get 4th but they need to overcome this problem to become tittle contenders.

Gary Neville believes David de Gea's drop in form is more serious than just a blip and has urged the goalkeeper to go "back to basics".

De Gea had the finger of blame pointed in his direction for Tottenham's opening goal in the 1-1 with Manchester United on Friday night.

The mistake drew some strong criticism from Sky Sports' Roy Keane - and the pundit had also labelled the goalkeeper arrogant after United's 1-1 draw with Everton in March.

The numbers do not make good reading as De Gea has now made seven errors leading to opposition goals since the start of last season - the joint-most among Premier League players.

Neville thinks his standards have dropped and puts the plummeting form down to confidence issues.

"He was the one player United could rely upon for the last four years but he's not the same," he said on the Gary Neville Podcast.

"He hasn't been the same for some time. When form drops for six months it's a blip but when it goes on for a year you start to worry. When it goes over two years it becomes more permanent.

"That is now a fair representation of what De Gea is as he's making lots of mistakes. Ones he would never make - he was always somebody you could completely rely upon. It can only be a confidence thing. The arms, legs and body are the same - it's got to be the mind.

"The reception he's got in Spain has affected him. He's even been booed by Spanish fans when he's wearing the Spanish shirt. In the World Cup in 2018 he really struggled and from that he's doubted himself. Mentally he's not quite the same."

De Gea's plummeting form has sparked talk of Dean Henderson replacing him as Manchester United's No 1 next season. Henderson is on loan at Sheffield United and has developed into one of the most reliable goalkeeper's in the Premier League.

If De Gea is to remain as the main man at United, Neville has offered him some words of wisdom.

"He's got to go back to basics," he said.

"There's only one thing you can do when you're having a tough time: work. Work harder than you have ever done in your life. What will happen is that you will tell yourself the amount of work you put in you deserve to be good again. That means coming in at 7.30am and leaving at 6pm if needs be. He has to do something to stop the erosion.

"Mistakes like that can happen on the first game back but it's happening far too much over the past couple of years."

Mark Bosnich believes Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea needs to address a technical flaw to improve his shot-stopping
Former Manchester United goalkeeper Mark Bosnich is in agreement with former team-mate Neville and believes the Spain international needs to address a technical flaw to improve his shot stopping.

"He has had a season that has been full of mistakes that he hasn't made on a consistent basis in the past," Bosnich told Sky Sports News. "There is no doubt about that.

"In terms of the goal against Tottenham, a lot of people obviously are talking about the delivery that Roy Keane made. But the bottom line is whether you agree with the way he delivered it or not that is Roy's style. It was a mistake.

"The most important thing, and I am sure his goalkeeper coach would know this, from a technical point of view is that there is something wrong when he sets for shots. You saw it in that [Tottenham] goal.

"As a goalkeeper if you set for shots and your feet are outside the width of your shoulders you are going to have real problems because the natural reaction is then to go backwards when the shot is hit quite hard.

"You have got no room to manoeuvre your feet and if you start going backwards as a goalkeeper and the ball hits you, invariably it is going to go in the back of the goal. So that is something that they definitely need to work on.

"Obviously, they have got (Dean) Henderson who is playing so well at Sheffield United as well.

"Gary (Neville) is right in what he is saying, it has been more than a blip this season or so."

Neville, meanwhile, has called on Paul Pogba to lead by example as the club's 'one true world-class player'.

"A committed Paul Pogba can be a great player for Manchester United," Neville told Sky Sports. "His goal and assist numbers are very good over the last couple of seasons.

"They are up there with the best. Hopefully with the economical problems and clubs can't spend 80, 90,100 million on players, United will keep him. Pogba will then understand that's he's staying - all I ever want from him is commitment.

"I've never blamed him for United's troubles, I do believe he's the one true world-class player, although I would have put David de Gea in there two years ago. Pogba should be the one to lead from the front and if there's speculation around his future it does create doubt in the dressing room. Now there's a better chance of that team succeeding."

Scott McTominay has signed a new contract at Manchester United to June 2025 with option of extra year.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says David de Gea is "the best goalkeeper in the world".

De Gea was criticised heavily during Friday's 1-1 Premier League draw at Tottenham by former United captain Roy Keane, working as a television pundit.

However, Solskjaer has backed De Gea.

"I don't think it is a bad run when you concede two goals in seven games, which included matches against Man City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Everton. Everton was a freak goal," said Solskjaer.

Keane said on Friday he was "sick to death" of De Gea, arguing the goalkeeper should have saved the Steven Bergwijn shot that gave Tottenham a half-time lead.

Solskjaer said: "On Friday he might have saved it, he might not. But he makes great saves for us. He wins games for us. I still think he is best goalkeeper in the world."

De Gea is under pressure for his place in the Spain side from Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga.

And soon he might be in the same position at United given the form of Dean Henderson at Sheffield United, where he has been on loan for nearly two seasons.

Henderson cannot play in Wednesday's game between the two sides because Premier League rules forbid a loanee to face their parent club.

But Solskjaer is delighted with his progress, saying: "He has had a fantastic season. One day he will be England and United number one."

2013 - Anthony Martial is the first Manchester United player to score a premier league hat-trick since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013; since the 2013-14 season, 21 different clubs have seen a player score a hat-trick in the competition before Martial's today

Still struggling to breakdown compact defences. I expect United to get 4th but they need to overcome this problem to become tittle contenders.

We're breaking them down with such ease now, its getting hilarious.

Some concerns with the back line and GK, some depth issues, but playing like this we would win the league or atleast challenge for it.

One or two more signings & Utd will be a force next season

Pogba and Fernandes on the pitch at the same time seems to have sorted out the problem.

I think if United could get a top class CB and striker they will challenge for the title.

Not sure if the board will allow £100m on Sancho and then £90 on Koulibaily, whos also entering his 30s and City will be in for a CB.

Ole should go all out for Sancho, then find a decent bargain CB somewhere else.

..and Lindeloff should be dropped for Baily.

Man Utd: Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial's rise to form

When Manchester United sold Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan last summer, they were accused of having made a significant error and of leaving themselves short of goalscoring options.

When Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side won just two out of seven games at the start of 2020 and were six points below the top four - leading to the surprising signing of Odion Ighalo on loan from the Chinese Super League - their manager's decision-making looked questionable.

But as United have improved this year, so have their front three. The forwards who started Saturday's 5-2 thrashing of Bournemouth - Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood - have become goal machines, with 55 between them in all competitions.

They scored four against the Cherries - two for Greenwood and one each for Rashford and Martial.

This was the third time since Christmas they had all scored in a Premier League game, with one of the trio scoring twice on each occasion.

To underline their attacking prowess, United have scored five times or more on four occasions in their past 16 games. They only did that three times in the first 367 matches after Sir Alex Ferguson retired.

"How can you not be excited about him?" asked former England striker Ian Wright on BBC Match of the Day after Greenwood's double.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said the 18-year-old might be the best finisher he has ever seen.

United are two points behind Chelsea in the race for the top four but they are fifth, which will be enough for a Champions League place if Manchester City's European ban is upheld. They are also still in the Europa League and FA Cup.

How do they compare with Europe's best trios?

The United trio have scored more goals in all competitions this season than Liverpool's feted front three of Mohamed Salah (21), Sadio Mane (19) and Roberto Firmino (11).

Only six of Europe's top teams have got three players who have scored more than Rashford, Martial and Greenwood's combined 55.

They are some way off Bayern Munich's top three scorers' total of 83 - Robert Lewandowski has netted 51, Serge Gnabry 20 and Thomas Muller 12.

Paris St-Germain's main three goalscorers are on 68 (Kylian Mbappe 30, Mauro Icardi 20, Neymar 18).

Manchester City's top three have 64 - although they do not all play at the same time. Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling have 23 each, with 18 for Gabriel Jesus.

RB Leipzig's main three scorers have 60 - with 34 for Chelsea-bound Timo Werner, 16 for Marcel Sabitzer and 10 for Emil Forsberg.

Lionel Messi (27), Luis Suarez (16) and Antoine Griezmann (14) have a total of 57 for Barcelona.

But next are United's three, joint with Juventus trio Cristiano Ronaldo (29), Paulo Dybala (17) and Gonzalo Higuain (9).

They are ahead of everyone else - including Liverpool's front line (51) and Borussia Dortmund's 48 (Jadon Sancho, Erling Braut Haaland and Marco Reus).

Lukaku has scored 25 goals for Inter this season, which would make him United's top scorer - but Inter's next two top scorers have only got a combined 22.

Atalanta (52) and Lazio (48) are among the other teams with prolific scorers who cannot match United's trio. Real Madrid's top three have only scored 38, with Karim Benzema (22) and Sergio Ramos (11) the only two to reach double figures.

If the trio can keep up this form, United might not need to sign another first-choice striker any time soon, despite reports they are keen to do so.

Greenwood is 18, while Rashford is only 22. Martial is the veteran of the group at the age of 24.

Nemanja Matic has agreed a new three-year deal at Manchester United, which keeps the 31-year-old midfielder at the club until 2023.

Manchester United are believed to be close to agreeing a fee with Fiorentina for Italy winger Federico Chiesa.

Draw today against West Ham. They will need to avoid defeat in the last match of the season at Leicester to qualify for UCL, most likely.

Manchester United will not be extending Alexis Sanchez and Chris Smalling's current loan deals with Inter Milan and Roma.

Manchester United secured a place in the Champions League at the expense of Leicester City with victory at King Power Stadium.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side needed a point from this decisive final-day meeting to confirm a place in the top four - and break the hearts of the Foxes, who were in a Champions League spot for so much of the season.

Leicester needed victory once Chelsea took command at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers but their dreams were dashed as Bruno Fernandes scored a 71st-minute penalty after Anthony Martial tumbled under challenge from Wes Morgan and Jonny Evans.

Both sides had their chances, with Leicester City keeper Kasper Schmeichel saving well from Marcus Rashford in the first half and Jamie Vardy seeing a header glance off the frame of the goal after the break.

Leicester pressed could not break Manchester United down and their misery was compounded when Evans was sent off against his former club for a wild, late lunge on Scott McTominay.

Manchester United confirmed the formalities seconds from time when substitute Jesse Lingard robbed Schmeichel and rolled the ball into an empty net.

It is a result that fulfils the usual minimum requirement of Champions League qualification for Manchester United.

But while Leicester City's fifth-placed finish is highly creditable and earns a place in the Europa League, this will undoubtedly be a huge disappointment and anti-climax after being in a position to reach the Champions League for so long.

It will be scant consolation for them that striker Vardy will claim the Golden Boot, as the Premier League's top scorer with 23 goals.

After Fernandes had made an impressive debut in a goalless draw at home to Wolves on 1 February, Manchester United stood 14 points adrift of Leicester City, who were third.

Fast forward to his decisive role in this victory that sees United qualify for next season's Champions League by taking that third place, and you can see the extent of his impact.

The Portuguese attacker - a mid-season signing from Sporting Lisbon in a deal that could eventually be worth around £68m - has provided the missing link for this Manchester United side.

He has built a bridge between midfield and a talented attacking array of strikers with his talent and his positive style, looking forward every time he receives possession.

Fernandes was not at his best here but he was the man who unlocked Leicester's defence as Martial won the crucial penalty, then performed his usual hop, skip and jump to send Schmeichel the wrong way and ease any lingering United nerves.

It capped a remarkable recovery for Manchester United - with credit also due to manager Solskjaer for guiding his side into the top four.

Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard says he was "lost as a player and person" during the 2019-20 season.

Lingard, who was limited to just nine Premier League starts, says the recent campaign had been "difficult for so many reasons".

"I never wanted to give up," Lingard posted on Instagram. "I knew who I really was on and off the pitch.

"I knew having been there before I could get there again. It meant working harder than I'd ever done before."

The England midfielder, 27, had assumed greater responsibility for his younger siblings after his mother fell ill earlier in the season.

His performances for United waned as a result and, speaking to the Daily Mail in December, he said had been "down and glum".

Lingard revealed he had been told he was on his "last chance" by Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, following an incident on social media last summer.

"I wasn't performing and he [Solskjaer] was on me all the time. He wanted more from me," he added.

The midfielder was also reportedly the victim of verbal abuse, including a racial slur, as he boarded the team coach after the club's FA Cup win at Derby County's Pride Park in March.

In his latest social media post, Lingard acknowledges the fans "frustrations" but says his "love for this club and everyone connected to it has never left me".

"This team, this club is my family and I will continue to keep working harder than ever to help this team achieve its goals," he added.

Lingard's only league goal came in the eighth minute of stoppage time in his side's crucial 2-0 win over Leicester City, which sealed third place and a Champions League qualification spot on the final day.

Manchester United are reportedly watching with interest as Juventus head coach Andrea Pirlo looks to offload several players, including midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

Pirlo was appointed new Juve boss on Saturday after succeeding the sacked Maurizio Sarri.

The former Chelsea boss lasted just 12 months in Turin, with Pirlo stepping up from his U23 role just a week after he was appointed.

And, according to the Daily Mirror, he is already planning to clear the decks.

Former Arsenal star Ramsey is one of the players not wanted by Pirlo and he is free to find another club.

The attacking midfielder made just 11 Serie A starts last term and it has been claimed he does not fit into Pirlo's ball-playing style.

The 29-year-old only joined Juve last summer after leaving Arsenal on a free transfer, but he could be heading home already.

His wages of £400,000-a-week could well limit his options, and he will have to take a pay cut if he moves on.

Pirlo also wants to offload Gonzalo Higuain, Sami Khedira, Daniele Rugani and Mattia De Sciglio, while Blaise Matuidi is heading for MLS.

Matuidi has had a medical with David Beckham's Inter Miami and looks set to sign a three-year deal.

The Daily Telegraph last month claimed Juventus were reportedly hoping to broker a swap deal involving Ramsey and Tanguy Ndombele.

Jose Mourinho though wants to keep the £53.8 million man, claiming that he will come good.

Ramsey, meanwhile, has been linked with Manchester United.

The Daily Mail claimed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was interested in the Wales star earlier in the summer.

Sevilla head coach Julen Lopetegui says Manchester United are the "biggest team in the world" ahead of their Europa League semi-final on Sunday

Twitter has apologised to Manchester United defender Phil Jones for mocking him on its official UK account.

The social media network says "being the target of online abuse is not easy to deal with" on a dedicated help centre page about coping and reporting abuse.

Yet on Tuesday it engaged in such behaviour when taking aim at the centre-back, with its verified @TwitterUK account posting: "Name a better footballer than Phil Jones."

United are understood to have complained to Twitter about the subsequently deleted post, with the social network apologising to both club and player.

England international Jones has endured a tough season and missed out on the Europa League finals squad with an ankle injury.

He last featured for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team in January's FA Cup fourth round win at Tranmere, netting the fourth goal in a 6-0 victory.

When top clubs are shopping at Harrods they'll be walking around the corner shop with a basket in their hand looking for cheapies:))):))) A club like their fans living on past glories.

We know what we need thank you. And you were humbled by sevilla in Europa too when your manager started out, so I guess you know all about it

The fans and the manager can see what we need, but it's up to the owners to fork out. Again you know all about that from the gillet and Hicks days.

We need 3 players to be able to make a fist of it. Top quality players. We should be able to self fund one from sales but the other 2 we need the 150m.

At the moment it looks like glazers are not willing to fork out. If that is the case we just need to focus on consolidating top 4

Your obsession with MU is never ending :))) it still hurts you you were never congrated on winning your first EPL

Now you want to mick us for losing to sevile who you couldnt even beat in europa and just few days back you were complaining about losing werner to chelsea and missing all your targets to other teams but think its funny we're not signing anyone when the transfer window is still open, get a reality check your obsession with MU has taken over your life :)))

I do not talk about thing of the past at all. You have spent plenty on flop players then with this pandemic thing the transfer market will a a rather quite one.

You can't attract top quality at the moment partly because no one wants to play for Ole.

Did i say something to upset you!!?:))):))) I can say whatever I want and wherever I want within reason of course. I recall that is what you said once to me not to long back so what's the problem when the shoe is on the other foot?

When did we lose to Seville "a few days back"? I think you mean a few years back when JK had just arrived at Anfield. I said Liverpool were not willing to guarantee Werner a starting place unlike Chelsea and neither were we offering him the same money. How is your new signing Sancho settling in!!?:))):)))

I enjoy saying what I do so deal with it. Stop crying now, good boy:yasir

Recruitment has been poor from 2013 to 2018.
It has been better recently but Woodward is useless at getting deals done and we end up paying over the odds
(partly because we are united) and delaying signings too much.

I don't think grealish vandebeek Sancho auour and younger players like Pau Torres would have an issue with ole.
Man United is a big enough pull. We don't necessarily need the finished article

No what you said is that you are upset because i didnt congrats LP on winning the title and it seems you are still upset over it :))) you will need to work harder to get it.

You lost to seville in europa, you cant change or twist the fact, you lost end of story but now want to laught at MU and complain JK just came when the same is true with Ole who is already doing better than JK in the same time period.

and no, you were literally crying about losing werner to chelsea :))) nice try in trying to backtrack now when its already posted, lp cant sign jack dont worry about MU we will get sancho before the market closes, go away in your corner and continue crying now.

I did not say I was upset over it rather that Man Utd were jealous about us being champs which is why they remained silent:yasir W Us being champs is a fact even if you and Man Utd refuse to accept it, makes it even sweeter seeing their fans burn in rage:maqsood

Now back to reality that you are nothing and we are holders of the three big ones, simple fact that makes you envious and jealous of us. Beat your chest all the want and keep frothing at the mouth in anger but these facts can not be changed.:irfan

What you said is what you said you cant back track now, you clearly said you are hurt that i didnt congrat you on winning a first epl - the grief and sorrow can be seen in your posts.
Its obviously hurt you and you probably were waiting since last dec for my message, :))) i know how much it meant to you no wonder your so hurt :)))

Sancho has not said no, all tier 1 football journalists have confirmed he has accepted and personal terms are complete, fee withBvB is being negotiated which will be complete within the next month, ofcourse its a siging thats going to hurt you especially because you got rejected from a regulated club and dont even have £30m for thiago :)))

You didnt lose ages back, ole is on the path and beating the expecations set for him, hes done better than klopp who faced seville in the same period. keeping being obsessed with us, you keep claiming youve won this and that but are still obsessed with MU, we didnt even care about lp or give them our attention when we were wining the league year in year out, while you were busy playing in your micky mouse comps, this is how much obsessed you are with us :))) its still obviously hurting you i didnt congrats you :))) looks like you still waiting for it. Actually many Man Utd fans did congratulate me. Rather as you have no leg to stand on can be seen in the laughs you send to conceal how you are really feeling. Truth of the matter is you have the hump and you know it!! :))):))) I mean come on man a team who has won nothing playing in second rate tournaments laughing at the champs suggests you have mental problems:maqsood

Why wait for your messages since Dec and not the 1970's or 1974 when you were relegated:))) It is clear to me that you are avoiding all we have won to save face after all what can you say other then cry in your cornflakes:yasir It must be so painful to be also rans to your two worst rival Liverpool and Man City now too. How embarrassing is that. I know you are praying that I leave you alone however it is not gonna happen at least not yet.

Sancho does not want to join you at all, stop dreaming! That should not be a problem when you have former Swansea midfielder James frightening the hell out of the opposition:14: Keep chasing Sancho and analysing his every move when he has made it clear where his heart is, as always you should be used to our left overs. We don't want or need him warming our bench when or our midfield that is already well taken off. In Thiago we will not pay £30 million for a player with injury problems who is 29 years of age, great decision and business.

I am afraid you will again be compelled in to playing part time plumbers and toilet cleaners most likely losing to them as well:maqsood I see so Ole who was sacked. Was it the mighty Cardiff or Molde that sacked Ole many years back?? LMAO!! That must be the path you are telling me about for sure! I am not claiming anything but stating the facts that you can not handle, truth hurts. Again you only want to talk about times that suited you under Fergie coz the rest of it hurts you too much. I am afraid you zillions of laughs can not undo the overall history of the facts I am telling you about unless you can point out my false comments. There is no rule here stopping me from expressing my views on any subject so deal with it. I don't cry when you comment on Liverpool related issues:inti

plumbers and toilet cleaners are what lp sign, even jamal lewis was rejected you, i guess you cant even sign championship players now :))) if you want to talk about facts these are the facts, you keepposting rants and cant even backup anything other than post smiles after another :)))

Why have you got the hump now!!?:yasir What smilies, rants and backtracking are you talking about when I see none? You will have to be more precise. Well of course watching Man Utd winning so much under Fergie hurt Liverpool fans, it is normal t be this way. Only thing is I accept it where as you are in denial over Liverpool dominating English and European Football now. This is what your original post on another thread was all about when you could not tolerate me praising my team out of jealousy:maqsood

We won the EPL and are now only one behind you where as you are three behind us in the European Cup/Champions League. I would be jealous of a Real Madrid for sure not a team of no hopers like Man Utd full of very expensive flops and rubbish players like Swansea and Leicester rejects. Jamal was just a face we showed, he was so desperate to join us but in reality he was used as a decoy for Kostas. That was the real thing we were working on and we got our target.

No one else wants Sancho, if he does join you will be out of desperation:maqsood We all know he was praying Liverpool come after him:))) I need some cleaning done if you want to send your Man Utd boys to do the needy:cummins

You keep continuing to cry while posting smiles, its not going fool anyone, your backtracking is recorded on the forum :))) no amount of smiles can save you

You have admited your hurt that MU fans didnt congrat you on winning your first epl, you stated your hurt and jelous growing up when MU won everything every season and its made you jelous, you even mentioned how LP have no ambition and are losing players to chelsea and cant sign anyone, you cant backtrack, the smiles dont prove anything other than your age,

It does not hurt me that lp won there first epl, where have i denied it?????? just because im not jelous like you doesnt mean i dont belive whats happening, i hardly care what they have done, its not my team and im not obsessed with other teams like you,

What other thread are you talking about? you stated your concerned about lp because no one wants to join them, i offered you smalling and sanchez and you lost your mind :))), your too late for sanchez now hes gone, but you should take smalling before he goes too :)))

Jamal never wanted you, he prefered championship football than joing lp, no wonder you sign unwanted unknown players no one wants, as even championship players reject you. :)))

Sancho is coming - i can see how its already hurting you, he agreed personal terms with us ages ago, thats not desperation, he wants to be here, there are no accurate reports about him wanting to join lp, why would he when jamal lewis doesnt even want to go there :)))

Are Man Utd playing cleaners that is making you laugh so much??:maqsood The only backtracking I am seeing is your refusal to accept our greatness, this is what the real problem hence your millions of laughs to make yourself feel better. We all know that!

I did not say I was jealous by hurt when Man Utd were the dominant side, i think this is natural for rival fans to feel his way. Your original response to my mail is evidence that you could not stomach the praise I was lavishing on my team. That really got to you, didn't it!?:))):))) This proves your fake comment that you are not obsessed with us otherwise why comment on the Liverpool? :misbah3

The thread where you first poked your nose on LFC affairs saying you can say whatever you want, well so can I on Man Utd too and will so you're just gonna have to tolerate me putting you and your team in your place by calling Man Utd what they are, a cheap pub side:inzi2 It hurt you like no ones business seeing a Liverpool fan praising his side, you can have our left overs if they want to join you although you know after winning so much at LFC it is highly unlikely they want to join a pub side:))):))) Only Man Utd are thick enough to overpay for flops then beg others to take them off you! https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/canaries-jamal-lewis-liverpool-transfer-pursuit-1-6779464 of course Jamal wanted to join us and play in the EPL. you sign rubbish like McGuire, Shaw and the great James from Swansea coz no one else wants them:))):)))

Even if Sancho comes Seville and Birmingham will still beat your pub team easily with their eyes closed!!:asad1 He will only come for the money if he does.

We signed Kostas for more money then what we offered for Jamal. He is far better then the former who we used in the deal to negotiate. A pub side will not understand such tactics:maqsood

no one said you dont have the money, even aston villa spend £10m on players, i said he rejected you, do you understand that, a championship player rejected you, yes a championship player. keep telling yourself how unknow kosta is better, better at what, cleaning toilets in the dressing room :)))

He did not reject us at all rather we were not offering the pay the money his club wanted. I know it hurts you to clean toilet and play pub sides then even lose to them but you are just gonna have to deal with it:))):))) Can you send your players to clean my bathroom??:maqsood

What greatness, you were so concered in the other thread i could see tears in your post when you were crying about not signing anyone and losing werner to chelsea. you call that greatness, your now being rejected by players in championship, this is greatness in your book :)))

Where have i commented on LP, i was just laughting at you crying about losing players to chelsea and salah about to leave, i offered you our players but you got angry which shows your insecurities. You can say whatever you want no one is stopping you but atleast make sense for gods sake, i only offered you players while your being a cry baby just posting smiles and ranting while adding nothing to the conversation.

Pub sides dont buy players for £100m, pub sides are what players like jamal reject and find championship football more excited then joining them,t hats a pub side, so get your facts correct

as for Shaw, the whole league wanted him, maguire was wanted by City and pep, james is a utlity player we got to add depth and bring somelese to the team, so you only post lies as evident here.

Naah you got rejected and are crying now, if he wanted to come and that too from a relegated side it would happen, so stop telling lies, you got rejected, cleaning toilets is what kosta would do, so dont worry about that. Jamal lewis has shown who the pub side is, its you.

I afraid you need glasses if you saw me crying over anything!:ssa I recall it was Man Utd fans who are famous for crying on youtube channels after getting whacked by smaller teams:inti Greatness of being English, European and World Champions simultaneously compared to your second rate pub side.

Does not matter why you commente. You were laughing at us who have won everything putting your foot on it so of course I am gonna show you they mirror telling your what your team is:yuvi As said before we could not guarantee Werner a starting place with Bobby, Mo and Salah then Shaq and Origi too so Chelsea had this advantage over us. Yes I wanted him yet understood we had to sell one of these two.

I see, so whacking you hard making you throw your toys out of your pram is "ranting" then so be it! You are just jealous, that's all. Saying that we are EPL, World and European champs and you ar nothing is perfect sense and a very painful fact for you! You do not have the heart to accept this so I have to rub your nose on the ground even more! We don't need your flops at all, I suggest you can offer money for Brewster or Harry Wilson who would both walk in to your useless pub side in terms of how you get whacked by much lesser sides. The Jamal episode ha been covered, it was Shearer among others who clearly rejected you:maqsood

Everyone wanted Shaw and James in your dreams only!:))):))):)))

You are just jealous coz we got Kostas who you most likely wanted:amir3 Your pub side with a flop manager who was sacked by Cardiff can not even attract flies:))):))):))):))) Cardiff sacked him theh e becomes your gaffer shows your true lack of class! You appoint Cardiff's leftovers and rejects:maqsood

It was crying when you were so concerned about losing werner and thinking salah was going :))) if this wasnt crying what elese was it, why were you so angry with me replying to you if you wernt crying?
Forget about yt channels, your posts are evident enought of being a cry baby, you cant eve accept basic facts or people replying to you that you lose your mind.

What everything have you won, you won your frist EPL and are level with leicter :))) forget about last season now, talk about next season, but you wernt, because you were so concered about lp lack of ambition in the market that you say MUs biggest competitors this season will be teams shopping at harrods and even you put your lp down to being a pub team by not adding them.

I never said everyone wanted james, learn to read, i was talking about shaw, chelsea were in for him, he was a highly rated player at the time, even a chelsea fan, but he choose us, thats the power of us, what you will never understand while talking about pub football
