ISLAMABAD: German investigative reporter Bastian Obermayer schooled Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz on the Panama Papers scandal after she claimed that the leaked documents were never about corruption.

“Panama papers were never about corruption. Even the stealers & hackers (read originators) didn’t say it was. Losers in imminent danger,” was what Maryam Nawaz tweeted, to which the German investigative reporter replied with a tweet of his own:-

Sorry to tell you: Panama Papers ARE about corruption. We found an astonishing number of corruption cases in the documents – and all real,” tweeted back Bastian Obermayer.

A part of me hopes that if Nooras engineer their way to power again in 2018, she becomes the PM. Then she won't have the protection of her thieving father and she will have a direct target on her back with regards to the army, media, judiciary and public. Why are people even surprised? PMLN are the biggest liars around. These Sharifs even try to save themselves by maligning their dad father so lying is minor for these beghairat.

Thinking back to the title of the thread I’m wondering when was the last time anyone from PMLN faced a foreign journalist in a live interview? Can’t think of any. Now you compare that to Imran who has faced them straight up on many occasions and also on shows like Hardtalk where it can be a real challenge to deal with.

Can’t even think of Bilawal having many live foreign interviews.
