I fail to understand why people hate Rahat so much.

Only those people hate Rahat who are unable to mentally compute how awesome he is.

Why not Sohail Khan who takes wickets and can score runs as well? I don't understand why he has been left out of recent sides. I would prefer him over Rahat any day.

Rahat has all the tools in the box, we just need to hire Waqar Younis to mentor him every step of the way and by god he will bowl even better then Wasim. I still recall his deadly spell in the heat of the desert bowled non-stop for like 20 overs and only gave 11 runs, was a damn motorway; every one broke down but not Rahat, too much beast runs through his veins.

Rahat is treated like a jobber but unlike other mid carders he's not afraid of going out on a limb, he will risk being fired to stay true to who he truly is! THE DESTROYER! eventually the glass ceiling is going to break, only so much you can do to keep such a talent down

Cant understand the hate for him. He's less worse than what Amir and Wahab are. We ever not able to score a single wicket against WI on pure pace. While Misbah may not select Usman Khan being a defensive captain, he may be the only decent option out there.

Honestly, it might just be Misbah requesting that Rahat be in the squad for his final series since he's been a central part of Misbah's teams. I doubt he actually plays any games though.

Maybe, but remember, Mickey selected Rahat for the Karachi Kings too...
