Mike Hesson deserves appreciation for strengthening a strong all-rounder core for Pakistan in T20Is

I think Nawaz faheem agha and Saim have done ok in the last 12 month just shaheen and shadab look average. Replace them with a good pacer and a solid batter then this is a good strategy. To be honest if I was Hesson I would have exactly the same issue. The no 1 bowler is not performing and shadab promising but fails too often but who to replace them with? Yes mirza Wasim and Naseem are option for SSA but I can’t see a solid full time batter.

As they say in the UK “ you can’t put lipstick on a pig” the players he has can’t perform as he wants them to. But there is no excuse for picking the wrong ones!

A tactical mistake was made where he dropped a pace all rounder for a spin all rounder.

Shadab or Nawaz needed to be dropped for a pacer.

Nawaz has choked way too many times in big games. I know that I bash Afridi a lot, but he does bowl well in AT LEAST SOME big games - especially that WC final we lost against England when he got injured. I dunno if Nawaz EVER bowled well in a big game?

Mike Hesson has this job because he doesn’t have the ego of Kirsten/Gillespie or even Mickey. The other thing working for him is that he’s willing to spend time in pak whereas other coaches couldn’t wait to get out of there. I don’t think he’s good enough to be coaching a top team, which pak aren’t so suits them well.

Well done Mike Hesson for unearthing Shaheen, Saim, Faheem, Nawaz & Talat. All these debutants were given a chance by Hesson and Pakistan lost 3-0 to India

I called Hesson a fraud many months ago when the kiddies of this world were singing praise for him

But but Hesson is a very good coach. He won Islamabad United a PSL title saar. Great coach saar.
