Misbah-ul-Haq's future after retirement

What does his ODI or test captaincy have anything to do with this? His experience in international cricket does but not his runs scored or victories and defeats. All they do is give us some manner of idea about his ability as a sportsman but this is a leadership/management role. I feel he is better qualified than Wasim Akram or even Imran Khan himself

Oh well..

You said he is well aware of the modern game, quite a few might disagree with that assessment especially when it came to the batting approach in ODI's under his captaincy.
