Misbah-ul-Haq's team selection for the Zimbabwe series

I came across an interesting stat . Iftikhar made his debut in November 2015 and guess how many ODI’S Has he played? 05 just five ODI’s over a period of 5 years. That not only is too small of a sample size to judge someone but at the same time it’s a grave injustice. If someone hasn’t been good enough to play for you or even be around the team , he surely is an expendable. At least give this guy a few matches before you hail him or hurl abuses at him. It’s not his fault alone that he has managed to Show false age. Besides it’s not that alot of good quality batsman are around.

Boring, like everything else Misbah has done.

I missed the first ODI entirely, a series vs Zim with really no upcoming exciting players in the team. Don't see the point of watching - this is what Misbah is doing to hardcore cricket fans in Pakistan

Need to axe Misbah along with ifti khair, abid, rizwan. Polluted Babara brain, he should have never gotten the captaincy.

Where is Shadab? You resting him be Zim? Only way Rizwan works is a quick early steady start 30 odd and play out the new ball and keep wickets.

Leave the scoring for Babar and who else, this selection from Misbah will just get Hafeez back into the team.

The narrow margin is due to Imam Abid and also Rizwan's .....this happens when u play so many accumulators at the same team...... Imam is another Shehzad only leftie and more consistent......Fakhar Haider and Khushdil should come in.....

That narrowish margin happens because of Misbah telling them to play with precaution , preserve wickets.

One of the last person the players should listen to is Misbah. He was a failure in LOIs in his days , took the team to no.9 .. people should realise that he was made captain to ensure they regain the trust and assurance for the team and players after the spot fixing fiasco.

Top 4 of Imam, FZ, Babar and Haris is proven and will do well under any coach.

Well the same Imam and Haris didn’t show any urgency under Misbah in the last game. I have never seen Haris play with strike rate less than 30 even when Pakistan was 30/4, but was doing so when they were 100/2 in 20 overs.

I don't get why they played only 1 spinner and 4 pace bowlers.

Pakistan's consistent performers with the ball in recent times have been the likes of Ajmal, Hafeez, Imad and to a certain extent Shadab.

Today they went in with a part-time spinner as their only proper spinner.

Ridiculous thinking.
