Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Abbas as opening bowlers

What do you guys make of these 2 partnering up with the new ball? Abbas is clearly the more effective bowler in these conditions. His mastery of lateral movement and natural variation is something that has proved to be incredibly successful. Amir, on the other hand, is able to extract swing at 85-86 mph but hasn't able to emulate the success of his partner in crime. Thoughts?
