Can't believe it's Hafeez who is playing a clutch knock. Well done so far.
 
If only he played his whole career at 6. Has showed a number of times his ability as a lower order hitter.
 
Hafeez has played the greatest knock of his entire career in this match... THE GREATEST.. this 50 is more valuable than any other century he has scored in his career
 
He is a much better player when he is playing his shots. He is defensively very circumspect so the type of innings that he intends to play never come off.

On his day, he can time and hit the ball as well as anyone. Extremely happy for him, the amount of hate and criticism that he gets can breakdown the best of them.
 
Fair play to him, that was a superb knock today in a pressure situation. I've seen us fail to take advantage of good starts so many times, his role was vital today in getting us to a big total.

If he's to play, it should be at 6 as he's forced to play his shots. When you look at his numbers the lower his batting position, the higher is his SR.

Considering the inexperience in the side at the moment its not a bad shout, i would defo make him bat lower down the order in all formats of the game for us as he showed in champions trophy he can be very use full coming in to bat lower down, and his bowling may actually help us get a few important wickets.

LOOOL hilarious that crossed my mind that he could possible get banned again so PAK may play him sparingly until the world cup.

I was rubbing my eyes blind when he called Hafeez an ATG- how did you get past that to the SRT reference?

I have this voice-software on my laptop. The ATG reference also blinded me, then the SRT comparison made me go deaf :))

Always cited when Hafeez does well

And cited even more when he does badly.

I expect to be reading this thread on a hot afternoon in 2021 after his latest ban.

Who would have thought 8 years ago that he would play a part in us winning the Champions Trophy and have a claim to being the second best Pakistani LOI opener of all time?

Another aspect which he is blessed in is playing politics. He knows how to get out of certain situations to benefit him in the future.

I mean 1 inning out of 4 and this useless professor was on the twitter bandwagon and every tom dick and harry was owning his return - Kachra player...and he has not landed SA yet

He's a liability in the field. From seeing all the young guns throwing themselves around and sending the ball in at bullet speed to Hafeez moving like a buddha and throwing like a girl is a real downer.
 
Looks like batted well today, be in UAE but kudos. Won a game for the team with bat therefore must be appreciated. Not sure if it'll help PAK in UK & AUS in 2019 & 2020, but today is his day.

He is blessed in more than 3 facets. Fielding, batting, bowling, speaking, game awareness, leadership, tactics, etc, are all facets of the game in which Hafeez Sobers is blessed in.

When Hafeez retires he will go down as one the greatest all rounders of all time neck and neck with Sir Gary Sobers, in fact in my estimation he will finish even better than Sir Sobers. Pakistani fans do not realize the legend which Hafeez is!

Hopefully Hafeez never retires though along with the countless other records he will break I also want to see him break the record for oldest player to ever play an international match! He should go on to become the Undertaker of Pakistan Cricket, once he crosses the age of 50 he should still play but only in the big events such as WC's. After all if Hafeez is the type of player world cricket has never seen and will never see again! The GOAT!

I have said this for time. He will cost us so many games with his "blessed facets"

Haris has consistently showed us why he should be batting in our middle order in ODI's.
 
Lol this guy was never an opener but his ego is too big. He is best utilized at #6 and used as main bowler till WC. He could have achieved a lot by coming down the order and get a quick 20-30
 
Insha Allah the legend Sir Hafeez Sobers never retires. Can't wait for when he lifts the world cup in 2051 as captain.
 
This guy needs to be removed from the team as soon as possible. His real age now is probably over 40 and he is way passed his sell by date.

Inzimam needs to show why he was made CS
 
He can play for 150 years. Will always remain a dead weight on the team. Worth for nothing, useless.

It's a miracle we can still compete having to lift him.

If you can't handle the new ball in UAE then how will you handle South Africa's pacers ?

Both openers need to be dropped, pathetic starts in every Test.

Honestly I hope he does not get from the test side for the South Africa tour.

The fans deserve it for all the poor innings he’s played since his return and before. For being so selfish.

It’s going to be a treat to watch him dance to the pacers tune and get battered by the SA pace battery especially Steyn.

God I can’t wait.
