After Hussain Talat's performance do you think Hafeez in trouble and most of the user's wish come true to not to include Hafeez in the squad.

And how many of you think about Ahmad Shahzad's inclusion and who can replace him.

Mickey has said the Professor is useless without his bowling. When is his retest? And when is our next ODI series? That will be the litmus if Hafeez will make s comeback. If Talat can give us the economy Hafeez provided, then it is curtains for the PHD.

Well don't forget this is just a mediocre West Indies team, for all Talat's brilliance so far, but when it comes to playing against top teams like Australian, SA, England and in difficult batting conditions, that is when you need an experienced and proven batsman like Hafeez who has delivered against the best bowling attacks time and time again as his batting averages will confirm.

Correct. Hafeez would have feasted on this weak windies bowling attack. Real test for Talat will come against better teams on foreign soil.

Very much in trouble if he can't bowl, don't think he fits into the team if he can't. But like other posters said, in terms of his competition, we have to wait and see how these youngsters go about their business against much stronger teams. But, the advantage of Hussain Talat is that he can bowl, and hafeez currently cannot.

Great point!

Hafeez is still a pretty mediocre batsman and I fully expect Talat to be a better batsman than him. Hafeez's biggest utility was as a bowler which he can't do now. For me Hafeez's main competitor was Shoaib Malik. Always felt only 1 of them could play in the team and well Malik has performed in the last few years so he can't be out. Imad Wasim also may be ahead of Hafeez in the pecking order right now since he can bowl. So yes I do agree it could be curtains for Hafeez. Though I would perhaps keep him in the T20 squad ahead of Ahmed Shehzad.

If Hafeez is allowed to bowl it will be a mockery of cricket. Every time things looking bad for him he starts chucking and his bowling goes up a notch. That's just cheating plain and simple.

Only Sachin can replace Ahmed Shehzad if he comes back from retirement and embraces his Pakistaniat.

But according to Razzaq even he isn't worthy..

yeah its so blatant you have to question the man's integrity given how sanctimonious he can be

I truly hope we never see him again though.

Our next ODI series is against Zimbabwae, I doubt Mickey wants him anywhere near the team, but considering he scored some runs against NZ i wonder if Inzi will still have the guts to look to the future and drop him.

So far Inzi deserves far more credit then he gets, I hope I can say that in a few months time as well

What about the update on his bowling action ?

The update is that he can bowl without chucking but resorts to chucking when back in team and then flies to the UK to get it ‘fixed’ so that after clearing test he can rejoin team to chuck again
