this is so true. I used to have a sunni (wahabi) neighbor and they used to throw a big celebration on Ashura and would go around the building distributing sweets while dressed in bright red cloths and full make up like we do on Eid. Most Sunni neighbors didn't agree with them but also didn't say anything and stayed silent. My mom spoke out and we were shunned basically and were never invited to parties and events after that.

I was kicked out of a famous sunni forum a long time back for speaking the truth and showing authentic hadeeth. I told the moderator I will see you on the day of judgement and you will have to answer Allah for hiding the truth and making false tawils and accusing me.

Two things which has harmed Islam the most is destruction of khilafat to moolkiyat and the division of sects. Allah clearly says not to divide into sects but we keep doing that and making Islam weak.

All those so-called scholars who promote disunity are the main culprit and will face wrath of Allah on day of judgement for dividing the Ummah.

I give you one simple example. Once I heard a Moulvi being asked can a shia and sunni get married , I thought he would give some evidence from the Quran and hadeeth , but instead he said because Ahmad Raza Khan said so and so !!! Imagine this guy speaking about a shariah ruling depending upon a moulvi . This is the curse of sectarianism .

In India Pakistan leave shia aside , even if you pray behind a deobandi or barelvi , there respective sects will remove you from Islam and ask you to do shahadah again. Imagine what kind of hatred these people are living with against each other.

Our job is to put forward our opinions with evidence , not to give certificates of heaven and hell for people.

I have seen some short clips of Adnan Rasheed on Shia religion. I must say it is very eye opening especially about the main authors of the Shia books.
