Also if those three, Afridi, Younis and Shehzad actually did something of use during the world cup there wouldn't have been as much of a reaction. But all three were useless.

Was this bump necessary?
Buffon has won many trophies including a World Cup
No comparison here and he was playing for Juventus today. Some classless people in the Pak World Cup team
OMG! Juventus just lost the FINAL of the champions league and Buffon was smiling and higging everyone and giving everyone high fives! Clearly he doesn't care and is happy his team lost. Perhaps him and Afridi were plotting the losses and happiness together.
Was this bump necessary?
Still desperate to bring some respectability and credibility to Afridi.
The fact of the matter is that after performing woefully in the entire tournament all that concerned him at the end was that it was HIS last match.
Sums up the man.
Sums up his career.
Perfect, just what was needed. A visit from PP resident Afridioligist. Skilled in knowing exactly how the Afridi mind operates. Thank you for your 100% fact based comment which is never ever biased in any way.

So you're saying that once players win a lot of trophies, they don't care about losses? Why was Dhoni crying then?
This is a very apt comparison and I'm glad someone bumped it. At the end of the day, this is a sport and unfortunately, sport also has losers.
One performed outstandingly to take an unfancied team to the most prestigious tournament final in football and performed outstandingly in it.
The other was Afridi.
You can blame Afridi for being a no-show at the World Cup, you can't blame him for laughing after that quarter-final loss.

Why not?
He doesn't care and everyone knows it.
Him and his puppet were more bothered about his glorious career than bowing out of a World Cup but if you saw him bat you would have expected it.
I still can't get over how he batted in that game. Knocking jt around and getting 4 an over with maqsood would have taken us to 250 easy which may have been winnable. Instead he chose to hit out and threw his wicket away asap. Mindblowing considering he was picked as an allrounder and not our best spinner.
The difference now is he also can't back up his selective hunger (when he wants captaincy) with performances anymore.

It is indicative of his attitude and personality.
Always putting himself and money ahead of Pakistan.
'Always putting himself and money ahead of Pakistan'
Care to back it up with any proof? Or is it the usual baseless claims miandadrules

No, I am just letting you think how I view this matter. You are the one hounding me about my opinion. Afridi is a frustrating player but a sell-out, he is not. I distinctly remember that agent, who was able to coerce a few of our players to spot-fix, saying that Afridi is one guy who can never be bought. Your irrational hate towards Afridi is well-known so I don't know if anything I say is going to change that.
He obviously cares. Every cricketer that reaches the international stage cares a helluva lot about representing their country. You are mistaking his inability to bat sensibly with him not having any passion.
So don't patronise me with you fabrications just because you can't see past your emotions. Trying to tar me with with brush of ignorance when it clearly afflicts you is a little rich.
)
) This line coming from you is just amazing! Coming from someone who makes the most ridiculous claims about Afridi with no proof/evidence/source.
Please point them out and the proof you would like.
Hey i saw some posts of you praising Afridi. But do you like Miandad or afridi more?
I don't like or hate anyone.
I only support Pakistan and I certainly don't support anyone or their actions who are detrimental to her.
Ok but afridi has made many records isnt he the GOAT Pakistani cricketer? Most Pakistani people ive met say their favo cricketer is afridi no one ever says miandad mine personally is Babar Azam
Lol... How do you not rate Wasim atleast? Malik's bowling isnt as good as afridiYes of course he is the GOAT.
What have Imran, Miandad, Wasim, Waqar and Hanif ever done?
Only Shoaib Malik comes close to Afridi.
Lol... How do you not rate Wasim atleast? Malik's bowling isnt as good as afridi
Let's get a few things straight.
I have not once asked for your opinion. So, how you have come to the conclusion that I am hounding is you is beyond me. Yet you have the audacity to claim I am the irrational one.
Please give examples of anything I have said which I haven't substantiated.
Lastly, the agent did not say that Afridi can't be bought. He said that when dealing with Afridi you'd have constantly massage his ego inorder for him to do anything. This, like nearly everything else concerning Afridi was twisted by fanboys like yourself in to a statement that he was incorruptible. Then it was repeated so many times that you regarded it as fact just like the story that he tipped off the News if the World.
So don't patronise me with you fabrications just because you can't see past your emotions. Trying to tar me with with brush of ignorance when it clearly afflicts you is a little rich.
I don't really want anything to do with posters that spew irrational hate like yourselves, which is why you will find that my post in this thread was how I felt about Afridi, which was my opinion, and you then proceeded to bombard me with twisted statements. It is laughable that you're accusing me of doing that.
I am not an Afridi fanboy, I never liked him as a cricket but I do have the mental capacity to be able to think clearly when assessing a player. I'd like to see where you read that Afridi can be bought if his ego is massaged enough.
Like I said, I couldn't care less about the likes of you. Continue hating on Afridi and going into a raging frenzy whenever anyone says anything positive about the man.

You know what they say about simple minds....

"He also bragged"
sums up all![]()
Let's get the sequence of events right first.
But when has the truth or facts ever mattered?
lol, bhai you are getting it wrongi am not mentioning Bilal bro or else. i have just given reply in your way and quoted your line
Explanation :
i replied to Bilal bro comment , and you poked your nose. So i quoted your line which you said before to Bilal bro " I have not once asked for your opinion "
so i hope now you get it.
and 2nd, if you belive that guy Mazhar or majeed or who ever he is , is RIGHT.
then you should believe this whole article and you should believe that whatever he said is right.
about gayle, brad pitt, bret lee, e.t.c e.t.c e.t.c
and once again i will quote my line which i said before some days " i am not gonna argue more " So enjoy your posts.

Once again where have I bombarded you?
I didn't say he could be bought by massaging his ego. I clearly said the agent explained that to coerce Afridi you'd have to massage his ego. This does not equate to Afridi being incorruptible as you are claiming.
So you can express an opinion but if I do it is hate?
You seem to be under some false illusion that I seek your approval or hold your opinion is some esteem. I think it has been established quite some time ago how little I think of you and your opinions but I respect your right to express them, as this is how a forum operates.
Lastly, lets get to this accusation of a raging frenzy. It's a simple tactic to diminish ones argument by labelling it with a negative connotation but please point out anything I haven't substantiated.
With regards to a frenzy;
1. It was you who seems to feel that I am hounding you for your opinion when I barely acknowledge your presence on the forum. Is this rational?
2. It is you who has made the fictitious claim that the agent said Afridi was incorruptible. When I countered it by stating that he never said anything of the sort, it is now a twisted argument?
http://www.espncricinfo.com/pakistan/content/story/535824.html
Basically, your stating that I should allow falsehoods to be expressed openly about Afridi and to counter them is due to a ranging frenzy?
On a personal level, if you wish to trade insults I am more than willing to oblige but under no circumstances be under the illusion that I hold you or your belief systems in any esteem whatsoever, far from it. I thought I made that clear when we had the discussion on education.
1. My line which you quoted was in reference to Bilal saying I was hounding him for his view point when it was he himself who said I can't hold such a view. Hence, I clearly stated that I have never asked for his opinion let alone hounded him for it.
Laughable. I don't know what else to say. This sequence was starter from this:
When I say that I don't take you or your comments seriously, I act the part and completely ignore all your posts, unless forced to. You say and do two different things, along with foolishly misinterpreting my comments. By "You", I didn't mean you, I was making a general point about how people shouldn't confuse Afridi's performances with his passion for the sport.
Sadly, miandadrules has said nothing of the sort during this entire conversation.
Like #GreenRoars has already mentioned, in order for you to believe that Afridi needed to have his butt kissed in order for him to fix, you also have to believe in all the other claims that The Fake Sheikh has made. If you do, you're seriously delusional. If you don't, you're a hypocrite.
Yes, you are raging here. Everyone can see it with the way in the way you're posting and the manner in which you are rabidly out for Afridi's blood. No point in denying it unless you picked the second option from the paragraph above. Your overtly aggressive tone and taking my comments that were intended for a general audience as personal slights are hounding in my book.
No need to repeat yourself over and over again with regards to my posts, prove it with your actions.

The usage of ‘you’ to mean ‘one’, anyone, someone or people in general is quite widespread and is well-established. This again proves that your rage is making you incapable of comprehending any post in this thread that is even slightly in favor of Afridi.
