There were good reviews even for Sultan,Divya Khosla movies Niishaa but the good reviews are usually independent ones although those critics want every movie to be ship of Theseus ,Lunchbox so erm yeah.

I live in dubai and i don't want to go with my indian friends because i will feel embarrassed if they show india beating pak in the 2011 wc semifinal

Those who watched the movie can you please tell me if there are any references to pak in the movie and do they show or talk anything related to the semifinal? honest answers please.

The World Cup cuts to the Final and skips the rest of the tournament. There are several such jumps but as I said, if you're prepared for a Bolly movie that's not technically great or an artistic work, you will enjoy it.

About half of the movie centres around him trying to break through. They don't focus too much on the biases that he'd have faced being from Jharkand probably because they wanted to avoid controversies but there are allusions like once selectors don't even give him a decent chance because of his hair and also 'kahan se ye log aate hain'.

I forgot to add to the Pak poster above that they do show the T20 final and Misbah but they don't really capture it too well. It's more like a fairly long yet not too detailed overview of his early days and then they start hopping from one event to the other ending at the 2011 final six

Some Factual Mistake's Dhoni asking to go lolz.... It was make sense to continue with left and right combination.. But obviously two lefty on the crease..

Spoiler Alert : still can't believe they did not show how match was messed up due to toss.. And in last scene they showed that dhoni don't want old leggies and he still play with Sachin and Sehwag.. they are trying to create spice but can't do it...

its good movie with this new actor 8/10.. Not bad

I had set my expectations pretty low after seeing how azhar was put on the hype machine & how it actually panned out. But surprisingly I have been hearing positive reviews about this one.

Just saw the movie!

Thought it was great and loved the cricket story and drama behind it.

I do wish there was more coverage on the Greg Chappell saga of 2006 and the story behind Dhoni's captaincy appointment in 2007.

Felt very nostalgic when he scored that 148 at Vizaq and the scenes when he was in the hotel in Lahore and asked the shopkeeper to use his phone to call Priyanka and then went to the market (with armed bodyguards) to buy her a gift. Those scenes reminded me of the times when India and Pakistan used to play each other regularly (2004-07).

Begs the question - will India ever tour Pakistan again in our lifetimes?

I did say it would be a nice movie seeing the trailer.

The trailer did show that the director had put in some solid efforts to make a proper movie.

I am yet to watch it. Hope it has enough moments to give me goosebumps.

Watched it yesterday and i liked it.Although it was a long movie but they just went on fast forward mode after Dhoni finally gets in the team.Also they didn't focus on how the loss of his gf affected him.

India Will never ever Tour In Pakistan. Since Ipl india . India earnlng more than enuf Money

Only thing I liked was the actor's body language that really did remind me of Dhoni. Apart from that, a very average movie.

Finally got to watch it, it is a decent Bollywood commercial movie, there is nothing really too special about the movie. Commercialization took the authenticity away but it is still a decent movie. It isn't an underdog story, basically he was always an athletic talent, was good enough to be a prospect for the 1999 U-19 World Cup and played his FC at the age of 18 back in 1999. Best scenes are during his younger days and then they fast track to his debut, there is no inspirational moment during his debut or anything which was disappointing. There is a part where Yuvraj's faces MSD in a U-19 state match and takes his team to 800 something runs lol. Nice to see the part of his ex.

The movie will definitely make me look MSD a bit different from now on. Much better than Azarruddin's movie where he is wholesome angel and everyone is evil piece of garbage.
