Multan Sultans defeat Islamabad United by 9 wickets in 22nd match of PSL 5

Our hitters our so limited. They try to hit every ball to mid-wicket irrespictive of ball's line and length.

Shadab has been Islamabad’s best and most consistent batsmen and has played at a very high strike rate.

Their middle / lower order has done nothing. It was the right decision to send him out early. He failed but hindsight is easy to comment with.

Misbah was the captain when IU won twice and he was a pretty experienced captain and calm personality. So obviously a young team with young leader on the field can have a fiery side.

Obviously a 70 at 195 SR is amazing but I would rather have player try to hit runs or get out early (so other batsman can come) rather than eating up balls, holding your better batsman and scoring at 116 SR after taking 12 balls in a mere 9 overs match.

Shadab running to the bowler after every delivery is not proactive captaincy.

It's being annoying and disturbing the rhythm.
 
Vince with his experience should have taken the strike rather than putting Zeeshan against Steyn in my opinion

Exactly.

You can blame Shadab for poor bowling changes, but to blame his batting which has been brilliant, clearly shows an agenda where people don’t want to blame the all powerful coach.

If we have to win, Shadab has to be sacked as the captain.

Guys who else is really worried about Pakistan t20 batting

For real we have people bumping threads for Shadab to bat at 4 and Haider Ali who has no fifties is the unanimous #3 in PP.

Then we have guys like iftikhar, rizwan, malik, Hafeez, ahsan starting for the national team.

I’m so concerned wth and psl is same as always Kamran Akmal dominating lolll
 
People need to understand psl has fundamentally changed this season. ISLU might have been the best team in uae but this is Pakistan. This is a completely different world.

Look at some of his posts after Islamabad won their first couple of games.

The amount of rubbish he spouted when I said Multan have a good chance in this tournament and should go to the playoffs comfortably, is coming back to bite him now.

Incredible innings from James Vince this has been. He's on 49 in just 17 balls while hitting only 1 six so far!

He expects a minumum Strike rate of 250, at an average of 100. 166 sr at 41 average isn't good enough.

It might be his last season as a player though if I am not wrong and he is already in assistant coach/ player role. IU needs to think for future seasons too

I didn't blame Shadabs batting too much in other matches.

Because he had 20 overs to come in and settle first.

Today was not the time to do it as he's not a proper hitter and struggles when he comes in initially.

He lost us the game by promoting himself. Today was not the day to do it. With only 9 overs we needed genuine batsmen and hitters.

He only come in ahead of misbah friend asif who's highest score is 20. But playing because he's misbah friend. Though Ingram should have come in before shadab. You have been blaming him every game when you lose and worshiping misbah when ever they win.
 
As I said in one of the earlier match haider is miles better better then zeeshan.

Haider is a prodigy with much higher sealing so there is no doubt about that. I think Zeeshan is a better player than he has shown till now
 
Why do these substandard players get selected by franchises? Why? These franchises are ditching the proper player pathways just to get players like Zeeshan into their squads. I’d like to know why?
