I just bought the MIDS ZH Power cricket bat today. I wanted to ask everyone what they think of the bat. I uploaded the pictures of it.

Looks terrific my man!! Very nice grains and a huge profile. How is the pick up? What do you make of the handle? Any shots of the top of the handle? Has quite a low sweetspot I think. Congrats :D

These are good bats; I have not had anyone complain about them. Should open up soon---- do knock it in properly though. I am interested to know your feedback on the handle.

Thank you brother. :). The pick up is awesome. As soon as i picked up the bat, i could just feel it that the bat was just superb and had an amazing feel to it. You know when you pick up a bat and you are like WOW, this is the bat.

I will upload the handle soon. Will let you know when i play with it this season.
 
Amazing, looks amazing piece of willow!

How is the handle? Is it thick? Oval?

Compared to your other bats how do you rate this?

I hope it plays well for you, it is indeed a marvellous bat!

I got the bat for $230. The weight is 2.8 lbs. I got it in Virginia, USA. One of my friends uncle opened up a new cricket shop so i had the chance to check out all the bats and everything. He has pretty good stuff. I was a CA fan but the new CA bats aren't how they use to be. This bat has a circle handle.

Is the handle thick compared to your other bats?

When you can please do post picture of handle from top.

Its like a normal handle but the feel is really nice.

Looks like a quality stick, those grains are really nice. and it weighs 2.8!! how big are edges (width)
 
The ping of the bat is phenomenal, i am not kidding when i say that. You know you get that feeling when you pick up a cricket bat and you are like WOW, this bat is legit and it just feels right to you. That's how i feel about this bat.
 
I have a CA Plus 10000, Grey Nicolls Powerbow, and CA Plus 8000. Out of all of them this one feels the best one.
 
Bat looks excellent quality and is quite thick but the edges on Mids bats are rarely over 35mm. This looks it has edges around 33/34mm.

what a beautiful piece of willow that is! Grains are fantastic. For a bat with that much wood, i am surprised it only weighs 2.8. Congrats! and hope you get a lot of runs with it.
 
That's a very fantastic bat. Lovely grains. Looks very beautiful.
Advice: You should regularly use sand paper to make rub off the spots that appear after you play a great deal of cricket with it.
If you do so, your wonderful bat will never look peculiar like this:

Or you can use anti scuff sheet..
Or even Nail Polish remover which does the job very well!:10:


About U.Akmal's :umarakmal bat I think its kind of a trademark,
leaving ball marks in the bat..Not everyone does this..it's a kind of uniqueness..

Maybe you didn't use the right brand..Brand and quality matters..;-)

First apply few drops to a piece of cloth and then rub it vigorously against the ball mark..

It always work for me..:20:

Brand and Quality matters, ooo:72:.. so you have tried different ones. I am not offending, may I please ask, do you also use them for your nails?

Just used by knocking it with the old ball once in a while. I will probably use it straight into the game. It just needs to be knocked in a little bit and it will be good to go.

Even I use what my mom and sis uses..:D

They know better than me and have tried different brands...

But whenever I use it they start shouting at me as I tend to use a lot of it in one go;and they don't like me finishing it.

No H.A.F. I don't use them on my nails as I don't apply nail polish on my nails like you do..:47:
