Why should a state or a UT decide to probe a central govt? Does it have the jurisdiction or the mandate? Your argument that if they are not corrupt they shouldnt be afraid is a very poor one. There will be 2 new service centres be built in Gujarat & Punjab for future service

By the way there is another Electric loco deal similar to this by Alstom where 5 loco will be shipped by France & 995 Locomotives assembled in Bihar similar to diesel plant.

Actually this project is stark reminder of how pseudo secular UPA lost a decade for India...These projects initially announced by then railway Minister Lalloojeee in 2006/7...it required strong initiative by Modi in 2014/15 to get implemented...these kind of projects which going to help progress for Indian Railway and improve our freight capacity & speed and in turn bring down inflation.

Actually it was already there during MMS period in the name of Financial inclusion BJP just renamed it to claim it as their own.

RTI was the single biggest contribution by UPA to Indian democracy, empowering the common man to take govt to task and unearth scams. However, UPA did not know what it had created. They wanted to amend it to limit its scope and restrict information, when they were at the receiving end of RTI. RTI was an unintended contribution by UPA, and hope it remains without any restriction.
