He was getting too much attention so they decided to drop him. This is the reason why i hate Sohail Tanvir. This TTF bats ahead of Shadab and Umair masood which is criminal. These guys need to leave Pindi ASAP if they want to get chances to bat.

Tanvir can hit big if it is in his arc just like today last 5 overs his batting will be good, they dont have any other who can swing hard like him... he should only come in when there is 5 overs left and the platform is set to launch big..

Doesn't matter you don't drop someone after 3 games when he his score were 20*,42 and 5. Both of them should be playing and if he drops ahsan it would be fine as he is not performing and has been given enough chances.

No doubt Pindi reknowned to have seniority tag,, This tanvir suppressed Hammad for decades, and now as captain for FATA he is in sublime form. Good that he ran away from Tanvir and Pindi

I agree, he is a rare talent.

I skipped the tournament yesterday watching it in highlights, and watched it in bits, it has been a pain to watch if one looks at the fielding standard. In first match both Akmal and Salman Butt were dropped. Salman Butt got dropped even more which is why he reached 80+. Butt also had an argument with Sohail after his in-swinging yorker hit Akmal at the side of the foot, then again ha d a brief altercation with the umpire. Salman Butt behaviour has been awful of late.

Faisalabad v Rawalpindi, Rawalpindi even in its dream cound'nt havescored more than 160 even if Umar Amin makes a good 50-60 in 40 or less balls. Today was a day of miracles, Zain Abbas scored at a 120+ strike rate and he was dropped multiple times. Faisalabad dropped literally sitters amounting to 6, plus there were chances also where fielder reached the bowl late intentionally for not having to try for a catch. Even their captain dropped a dolly and one hit on square leg going towards sweeper just bouncedonce and went between the 2 hands of the fielder for a boundary.
Faisalabad death bowling was kinda suspicious the way they bowler short of length,no full delivery upon which Tanvir capitalized after being dropped. Rawalpindi were even more trash Irfan Jr. could not field a potential double on fine leg and let it go for 4 off the bowling of Shadab. Pindi's feilding has been catastrophic during Shadab's bowling, catch was also dropped on his bowling today also.

IT was only Sohaib MAqsood, Khurram Shehzad and Faheem Ashraf, the saviours of the day who lit up what was another awful day. Disappointed withe quality of cricket and all teams minus Faisalabad and FATA's batting only.

In t20s only, but he should be tried opening. Maximum of his shots are still aerial and he can play his shots only in the powerplay, he will make quick 50s.

Amin and Maqsood can open in t20s i think with the current form
