2 big sixes in this innings from talat and people say he can't hit.
 
I'm struggling to get the logic behind saving so many wickets. Lahore should go all out attack. They just have 100 odd runs in 13 overs with just 2 wickets down.

Peshawar is a good batting side. They can chase anything under 180. They need to post a good total but looks like they are happy posting 170 odd.

they send him at that time because 2 wickets were down in 3 balls. they were wanting to save umer akmal for last overs

They're a good batting + bowling side. Very balanced. Without any international star. They can even compete in World T20 and come out as winners.

its sad to see a player who already played more than 150 intl matches dont come out to take responsibility, and then got out cheaply.
umar shouldve come before talat but i can see the reason(send a bakra in difficult situation).

yeah in long term he can play international cricket but he can be used as a surprise package in t20 world cup.
 
imran jr bowling in last overs and only given 16 runs in 3 overs.
 
Talat really looks a good bat. Some genuine cricketing shots he has played. He really looks like old Yuvi batting out there.

This has been a very good knock. Exactly what the Lahore needed.
 
Not sure about the Zimbabwe tour selection but none of the big three (Hafeez, Umar and Shehzad) have looked a really dominant force for Lahore.

He got beating of his life yesterday and today to come out and take 2 wickets and be economical tells that he is mentally very very strong and has confidence over his abilities .

Unfortunately there is not A team of T20 format .

The type of bowler he is . He can play only the format where the batsman goes after him . In ODI's he can't succeed . That is why he hasn't played any list A or FC game .

Did imran khan junior bowl 130kph Yorker or bouncer seam up today ? Or not ?

to be really honest. He seems to be the best left handed striker we have in domestic. Harris is good player but not much of a striker. Talat looks like a good no.5,6 batsman to me.
 
Mustafa is single handedly losing Lahore this game. Pathetic bowling.
 
Iftikhar has played a gem of a knock. Peshawar has got so much depth in their batting, for such a weak team this is remarkable.
 
this is really poor bowling. Can't bowl single decent ball. Peshawar looks favorite from here.
 
this is inexperience. Iftikhar has thrown away. Now he has brought Lahore back. This shot wasn't needed.
 
will need a good spell of bowling from Wahab and Irfan if Lahore are to win.

There is a quality in imran khan which he is not realising himself . That's what we saw in last 2 seasons and haven't seen this season .

He is a slimmy lean fellow . Has got a short runup where he jogs and doesn't run . Than he bowls a 134 Yorker and bouncer which batsman don't expect because they think he just bowls spin bowling while having a run up . Interestingly fast bouncer and fast Yorker are his change up delivery . In world cricket there is not even one bowler who dies this .

I was sad he got beating last match but it was his mistake . He was just bowling 5 slow balls in an over and 1 seam up half volley feserving to be hit out and got so predictable than imad gave him a smack .

I hope he gets back to his old stuff of deceiving batsman with 6 different deliveries in each over .

2 slower bowls on good length all both of different slower ball type and 1 slower bowl Yorker .
1 fast bouncer , 1 slower bouncer , 1 quick Yorker .

With this he used to get 3,4 wickets every match and concede 12 to 19 runs in his four balls .

I hope somebody conveys him this . Reminds him of this .

This is the reason why he couldn't make the Lions playing 11.
 
Hafeez and Shezzy helping Azhar Ali out with the field placing. Saw this in the ODI's as well whenever Azhar struggled Malik had to takeover.

I have said this many times, eventually Malik will take over as Hafeez's action has been banned.

He seems to run out of ideas whenever the team is getting trashed. Either this or he is too nice that he allows others to interfere.
