Its the singles that have killed sialkot. There simply have been no dots.

Peshawar used to be the minnows of Pakistan domestic, now we are among the big boys. Great turnaround in the last couple of years thanks to the likes of Mohmand bhai, Rizwan, Israrullah, Adil Amin, Imran Khans etc.

Yeah man, told Madplayer the same but he was deceived by Mali who is only good against weak domestic sides and his batsmen are all hacks, apart from Haris/Nauman.

Yea i didn't understand Malik and Adeel came before Haris? Was he injured or it was just a change in batting order

Ehteraam ya face saving? :P now get on our band wagon and support Peshawar against Khi in Final.

You didnt recognise my intentions actually. I was supporting Peshawar throughout the game. I wanted to jinx sialkot :yk

Rafatullah deserved to be given a chance in ODI cricket some 5 years ago but was neglected.

Now at 39, it is quite unlikely that on the basis of today or this tourney he will be given a go in the Zimbo T20s.

Who is the current coach of Pesh? I remember Wasti used to coach them a couple of years ago. The best thing about Peshawar is they come up with a game plan and everyone try to contribute instead of hijacking big guns from other regions.

Batsmen like Mohmand bhai average in early 30s in domestic cricket while the likes of Fawad average 50 who can't even put away an 80 mph full toss on the leg side. He can't even dream of playing the quality strokes Mohmand bhai does.

Hard to take averages of Pakistan domestic batsmen seriously, thanks to shoddy fielding and poor umpiring standards along with awful pitches that don't help stroke-makers, only grinders with low back-lift.

Watch the player bat and look at his Wagon Wheel; forget his averages.

Ammad bowling with good pace. I've rated him since the U19 WC last year. Not the finished article but has a lot of potential.

What are your views on Rifatullah , should he be given a chance for T20 international side?

Zakir Khan, he is from Bannu. Played a couple of Tests and a few ODIs back in the 80's.

Damn, Rifatullah out. I wanted him to go on & make a ton. But very good innings. And well bowled Ammad.

He has been playing superbly. I have my doubts regarding his ability to handle top international bowlers at the age of 39, but I think he deserves one shot at least.

Very bad time to get out. InshAllah Rizwan will keep his cool.

He has smashed Malinga at the death, who are these guys in front of him?

He can play medium.pace very well but dont expect him to handle a johnson or a starc

Musadiq is a great lower order hitter. Need to keep an eye on him.

Zakir Khan seriously? He was Director International Cricket in PCB and enjoyed many other big posts how did he came down to coach a regional team.

I remember him playing under Imran back in late 80s

He has been playing Pakistani NT bowlers for years and years, that experience has got to count somewhere. Should do well vs. most teams barring the likes of Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and England.

The ones you mentioned are the teams that matter.

I have heard that it is him, not sure.

Sialkot is a bad fielding side. Have to say the guys like nauman anwar, usama are average fielders at best.

How many of our players can perform against those teams except for Tests in the UAE?

Not many but does that mean we should throw in a 39 year old against them just because others too cant bat well against them?

This 39 years old is murdering your domestic bowlers meray Bhai

Serious pace from ammad. Top edge and 4. Really lucky rizwan could have got hurt

I think the fact that Peshawar Panthers do not have an established, well-known international player has helped the morale of the team. They all look hungry, motivated and eager to prove a point; back when we had the likes of Yasir Hameed and Umar Gul, the team in general did not look impressive. I think in that case, the whole squad becomes to reliant on 1-2 players, rather than stepping up themselves.

The only international players in this lineup are Rizwan and Imran, and they have been around for a few months only as well.

He can bat as well. Zafar & Amad got us across the line vs England in the U19 WC semifinal last year. He's not the finished article but anyone bowling that quick at his age has lots of potential.

He doesn't represent a long-term solution in any way, but I do believe he deserves to play for Pakistan once at least.

He can be tried against minnows just to honour his long career. But its better to invest in a youngster as a full time opener who can serve for longer period of time.

Anybody remember Fazl-e-Akbar from Peshawar? He was an amazing talent and used to eat domestic batsmen alive but don't why he didn't clicked at international level maybe we should have given him a couple of more matches than just 2 ODIs and 5 Tests.

He got 600 wickets in his 13 years FC career at an average of 21 and stopped playing domestic cricket at the age of 28/29 i think that's because he thought he is no more going to have any chance of getting selected again in national team? or maybe he was seriously injured? Never seen him in media all these years

Yes invest in youngster but until you find a capable youngster give riffat his much deserved chance .

I faced him once in the nets back in early 2000's when I used to play club cricket. He is one of the most popular names in Peshawar cricket, but never delivered at the international level sadly.

I have heard he's a tablighi now. He stopped playing domestic cricket when he was still in his prime because he had lost hope of playing international cricket.

The international cap matters a lot for these domestic player who spent almost 2 decades playing in domestic waiting for their turn. He should get a chance.

Yes i agree his contributions should be honoured by giving hum a chance against minnows.

Watched him play a test against India in Rawalpindi.

Poor guy got murdered by Dravid and co. Even though on that pitch, he should have done better. Probably never played after that.

wow.very filmi story Some unknown players won matches from international stars. .
