Looks like its the end of the road for Nawaz and co, My question is will they go as hard against PPP who remained awfully quiet while all this was going on.Did they know they were next and hoped Nawaz would get away with it?

I can only hope so. Zardari is generally accepted to be a billionaire with all sorts of property, yet I don't know if he has a trade. He's got questions to answer, that's for sure.

Zardari is hundred times more cunning than Nawaz Sharif.. to prove his corruption would be a monumental task but I have full trust in Immy that he will undertake it if he comes to power.

Hopefully this will be a historic moment that will change the direction of the nation in regards to corruption. He's definitely next.

Zardari has left the country not looking to good. He knows that is Nawaz is punished then he is next.

I assume Zardari will ruin PPP even more before he is proven guilty or most likely take it down with him.

Are you guys sure this is the end of the road for nawaz. He is backed by saudis. I have seen him in this situation like 50 times in the past and yet he keeps coming back and becoming prime minister. What's so different this time?

I think the only thing that will rid us of the sharifs and bhuttos is someone just wiping out their entire families godfather style. They keep coming back to suck the blood of the nation like vampires.

People who think the likes of NS and Zardari will be held accountable for whatever they did are deluded.

Hit the nail on the head.

From what it looks like so far yeah, the SC seems to be doing a good job recently. Probably wont be the end of PMLN but Imran will surely make sure Sharif family is kicked out. Saudis wont be able to save them now, they didnt do anything till now and I assume they still wouldn't. They will probably want to cut ties.

Maybe I'm older and more cynical and lack the optimism of youth. I was ten years old when zia was blown away and benazir came
Into power. For 12 years we saw a game is musical chairs between the same corrupt people till this same guy away sharif was removed by army for allegedly trying to get rid of the COAS (Musharraf), saudis bailed him out at the time. He and his brother were in jail with load of evidence against them and in an likelihood facing phansi. Things were so bad reports have detailed how nawaz use to wail and cry on stop in jail.

Then saudis bailed him out. It certainly looked like the end of the road for his political career and yet after almost a decade of army rule, normal programming resumed with democracy in 2008 and well I don't have to tel you guys what had happened since then. Point is they always always and always find a way to come back in. Agar nawaz jaye ga to bilawal, Mariam, shahbaz, or someone of their ilk will take their place. Ten years later people will forget, the cars will be forgiven and they will come into power again. I can almost guarantee this. It's so predictable, it's funny and I laugh st our nation for making the same mistake over and over again. It's like watching Mr. Bean trying to do something extremely simple and hilariously failing at it miserably over and over and over again.

I salute your optimism but I am afraid I have seen it much worse and for a lot longer so I hope you pardon my cynicism.

Sir you are correct, PPP and PML-N have been playing musical chairs in the PM house, but you are missing two/three big factors that have emerged in recent times which will not lead to the politics of the 90s. These are:

1. Emergence of Imran Khan and PTI
2. Independent media that cannot be controlled by the government (atleast most parts of it)
3. Social Media

I also think that foreign players apart from India do not support Nawaz. Saudis requested troops but Nawaz could not deliver and also Nawaz has close ties with Qatar, something the other Arab countries dont appreciate. And with Trump at the helm, dont think he cares tbh.

Dont think Nawaz is going anywhere.

That's what I think. It's not just the 90s, this trend carried well once mushy was gone to this day. Our people are very idiotic unfortunately and have been brainwashed and vote for biradri. lol is the only province that votes on merit. Sindhis always vote for PPP, punjabis heavily vote for PMLN and in Karachi its always MQM. It's a torrid state of affairs when everybody and their grandma knows the evil of these three political forces in Pakistan and how they have ruined our great country in the last 30 or so years.

Quite honestly Bhutto was not bad but zia and then a revenge seeking BB and then zias surrogate son Nawaz have ruined us. Our country was on the way to progress in the late 70s and now it has been pushed back several decades

Not far now let Nawaz live his last political breaths

Maybe I\m just being optimistic, but his cronies are still defending them like this report meant nothing. We can only hope Imran and the free media press this issue hard about him stepping down and hopefully being imprisoned. Army has remained awfully quiet too since the report came out I wonder what they are thinking.

will be great but for that immy should be in power,,,,willllike to see them al in adyala jail....

I think it all depends upon what ptis goal is.

Is pti trying pmln to remove him from pm seat or is he actually hell bent in getting the coeruption exposed.

If its latter then ppp is screwed. Although zardari and rehman malik are very cunning

What about army? they are more corrupt than pmln and ppp combined. general kiyani's own brother is a famous land grabbing mafia. all of this does not mean anything if the army elite in pak is not punished. they have done more damage to our country than any political party and they will not let anyone rule in peace.

If this is true, it's frightening. I think that's a job for the good shareef, Raheel Shareef

I think he will.

Like coming out of retirement to take on the Windies in the Caribbean after the 87 World Cup, that tells me he hates leaving loose ends. Atleast that's my hope.

Asad Umar in a talk show mentioned that this was just the start and swiss bank account holders will be next pointedly at a PPP politician. It really upset the ppp guy.:)))
